I'm happy to announce Temperate Climate is out on the great Miniatura Records.

It's a 4 tracks inspired by seasons and revisited by 6 awesome remixers who add an amazing richness to the Ep.

Here you will have the luck to listen to Chris Walt, Keinzweiter, Tilman, Choenyi, Sven Laux and Grifin reinterpretation of my works.

"Humeka (LesIzmo:r, Yuki Yaki, Rodoid) develops a thematic EP, going through the passing of the seasons, carrying along different minimal interpretations and emphasizing his unique experimental style. To enhance the spirit of this outstanding EP we appealed to luxury remixes by: Christian Walt, cofounder of legendary Interdisco netlabel; Keinzweiter, creator of spontanMusik; Tilman, who runs the impressive Klamauk label; choenyi (Stereo-Type, Random Access, Kreislauf, Miniatura), one of the greatest exponents of netlabels scene; Sven Laux (Tisch, Insectorama, Tropic, Meerestief, MV, Archipel, Miniatura, Mischievous), famous character from underground minimal; and finally, our friend Grifin..(Mischievous, Minibar, Wreckless, Salon), cofounder of Silicate netlabel, whose EP will come next month in Miniatura net! Uh-làla!! Watch out!!!"

I discovered Yuki Yaki in march 2007 through the great Choenyi release "Defervescence". I immediately felt in love with the music they release, its eclecticism, their imagery. I downloaded the whole catalog and I still do.

The funny part of the story is that I sent them a mail on Myspace to tell them how much I was impressed by their label and at the same time, they were doing the same to tell me they liked my music! It was a very pleased way to meet.

So you can understand that I am very happy to be released by this label today...

"Densité Matérielle" is a mini-album of 6 tracks.
I had the luck to be remixed by Coppice Halifax, 82nd ave, Glander, Absolute Time and Platko.

"Humeka claims he has never been eager to re-invent music but to find his own interpretation of Techno, House, Dub and Ambient. And there is hardly a better description for his first release on Yuki Yaki.
The six tracks and four remixes clearly state his love for sharp and crispy clicks and cuts wrapped in best Electronica classicism while his bias in beats seems to lead more into dry desert landscapes of minimal house and dub techno.
An eerie sense of ambience and deepness is wobbling through the twisted house chords and shattered melodies but in spite of all these disharmonic moods you will always feel tempted to start moving your feet.
Besides the bunch of soul mates who has done the remixes apparently understood their French friend quite well."

I hope you will enjoy this new release.

"For our fifth release, we are proud to welcome French artist Humeka onboard. 5 new tracks:

1. De-amb
2. De Chez Moi Les Toits
3. It Sometimes Happens
4. Evidence
5. Am-back

A few months ago, keinzweiter asked me if I would like to remix is great track "From Detroit To Mainz".
You guess I accepted.

Many talented musicians also accepted the proposition:
Sven Laux, Le k, Just Two Ordinary People, Tom Ellis, Alexander Jannink, Sul.a, Nice, Signal Deluxe and Big Bully, DaveM and Superlauncher.

"Based on a simple fieldrecording sampled in the streets of Detroit, a bass- and a chordsample, Keinzweiter made the track "From Detroit to Mainz" as a free bday giveaway for spontanMusk..s first year. After many feedback he got the idea to give the audiotracks with the sounds to a couple of spontanMusik supporters. "From * to Mainz" is the essence of the entire sound of spontanMusik created by many producers around."

Yuki Yaki released "We Go Very Well Together" by Daniel Carew.

"Indeed, Daniel’s first multiple track release is featuring six pieces - not to forget the four additional remixes - which undoubtedly go very well together, and which at the end of the day make this set of tracks feel like a neat little debut album.
Daniel is a real minimalist, somewhere inbetween electronica classicism and minimal house. Hardly to imagine that you could strip down a rhythm more efficiently down to its very basic sound bits and bytes, while being hopelessly in love with innocent melodies." (taken from Yuki Yaki site)

4 remixes were made by Fax, Glander, Ocp and myself.

Hi there,

I discovered a few days ago a new network called Virb°.

You should have a look to the profile I have there to see how it looks.
It's worth the transition cause you have really better search/custom/control functions than Myspace.
And the best feature is that your storage capacity have no limit: I've been able to load all my tracks!!!

So come on, meet me there with your new profile ;-)

dom_eka

ps: By the way, ever heard of last.fm?
check my others profiles out >
To let people know about my tunes, it's here.
And to know what I'm listening to, it's there.
