God-des & She just finished recording their new album with Grammy-winning producer Brian Hardgroove (Public Enemy, Wu Tang, Burning Spear, Aerosmith) and engineer Ken Reily of Electric Lady Studios. It was mixed by DJ Johnny Juice (Public Enemy, Swiss Criss, John Legend).
The girls burst onto the scene three years ago with a very high profile appearance/performance on the Showtime Series "The L Word." Since the show, the pair have lived solely off their music, touring all over the world. Even without a publicist's support or radio campaign, God-des & She have sold over 30,000 albums and hundreds of thousands of dollars in merchandise. Their fans will wait up to four hours after a show to meet the duo, and, as is their rule, the pair sign every autograph and take every picture til the last fan walks away. God-des & She play at least 8-10 gigs a month all over the world including SXSW 2009 where they played five shows including The Viper Room showcase.  This year will see them touring all over the world, with a whole new team, include publicity, radio, licensing and more.  Goddes & She fill a niche that's lain vacant a long while. Look for Goddes & She bursting into the mainstream this year

John Cusimano - vocals, guitar
John lives in NYC and grew up listening to Hüsker Dü, The Ramones, Television, Sex Pistols, The Beatles, Coltrane, Bird, and too many others to list here.

Around a year ago, John met Rob while they were working at the same job in NYC. John had a handful of songs and Rob played lead guitar. John ran an ad in the Village Voice for a bass player and met Matt. Matt, Rob and John jammed and it sounded good. Matt, Rob and John met Shawn, who also happened to be the best drummer in NYC. More songs were written, lots of gigs were played and an album was recorded (at Electric Lady Studios) with a really awesome engineer named Steve.

In addition to singing for The Cringe, he plays drums and keyboards in three other side projects with Matt.

James Rotondi - lead guitar
Cringe guitarist James "Roto" Rotondi brings a combination of retro-inspired tones and forward-thinking lead playing to the band's own mixture of the classic and the cutting-edge. Roto's impressive pedigree includes tours and recordings with Mike Patton's Mr. Bungle, French electro stars Air, trip-hop pioneers the Grassy Knoll, as well as collaborations, sessions and gigs with Santana's Michael Shrieve, horn gods Tower of Power, sax iconoclast Skerik (Critters Buggin) and pop legend Jason Falkner. An accomplished singer and keyboardist, Roto has also played, sang and co-composed on over 200 TV commercials, from Olympus to Lexus to Spagettios. His new solo EP, "The MiniLove EP," will be released digitally and on CD this July (myspace.com/rotovybe) and he continues to work on film music with his instrumental project, Jettatura (myspace.com/jettaturatheband).

Matt Powers - bass
I've always known that I was going to be in music. I wore out my Who tape (the Best of I think) when I was 6, but I wasn't allowed to play guitar until I was 13. Later, I found myself playing bass more and more. I met John two years ago following up an ad in the Village Voice and after one session jamming together I was 'in.'

Since then, John has been jamming with me in and out of several projects. He played drums in my early solo shows. My last project, 'Whether Music', featuring my wife Adriana Powers on bass and Bill Motzing on drums has ended but you can still check it out here: www.whethermusic.com or www.myspace.com/whether1.

My latest solo project, Matt Powers "Never Ending Aftermath" is set to be released mid-july on itunes, amazon.com, and cdbaby.com. I'll have cds on my solo tour. For more info check out: www.myspace.com/mattpowers2.

Shawn Pelton - drums
When he's not doing his thing for the Cringe, Shawn plays with the Saturday Night Live Band, Sheryl Crow and Rod Stewart.

We're five friends.
Lovemakers to slang.
Disarming people with sarcastic wit, guised as innocence, lacking in both.
Previously, thieves in the night with honey lips...

Hello. We're Scissors For Lefty. Garza's & Krimmel's. We attempt to write songs in order to open or close little chapters of our lives. ..ing little adventures really. Flirting with disaster, reiterating current events, poking fun at love gone wrong. All excuses for us to just hang out. We've shared the stage with greats to us, such as The Arctic Monkeys, Dirty Pretty Things, Panic @ The Disco, Every Move a Picture, The Fiery Furnaces, The 1990's, The Cheat, Lemon Sun, The Situationists, Paul Weller, DJ AM, Grandaddy, Little Wings, The Faraday Effect, Black Heart Procession, Locksley, The Coral, I am Spoon Bender, Pedro The Lion, Inner, Rykarda Parasol, The Wildlife, and many, many more. I dunno, I think we've played about Ninety Nine shows by now, but it's not like we are tight or anything. We would like to bust out 9000 shows, and then, maybe then, we'll fade away...

San Luis Obispo is where we met, and now San Francisco is where we happily reside. Steve Garza, yes another Garza brother, will be cutting a rug with us in 2007. As for Robby, he'll be with us as much as we can steal him away. We all work our asses off, and believe in this band. So, let's share amps, let's share kits. We're broke, and if you are playing with us, you probably are too. Here's to always being hungry...

Bryan Garza: Vocals, Guitar
Peter Krimmel: Piano, Guitar
James Krimmel: Drums
Robby Garza: Bass
Steve Garza: Bass

SFL were named the BEST UP AND COMING INDIE ROCK BAND in the SF WEEKLY BEST OF 2006 ISSUE. SF Magazine also named us one of the seven hottest bay area groups along with: E40, Rogue Wave, Erase Errata, Matmos, Sean Hayes and Honeycut.

"Eager rock magpies come bearing bright, catchy gifts... huge hooks and playful pleasures win the day... So cheerily unpretentious, it's almost irresistible." - SPIN

"...plenty of undeniable, butt-shaking riffs...your feet will be shuffling to the irresistable, anthemic guitar hooks." - Paste

"...scruffy, dancey pop that's gleefully euphoric. Bryan Garza sings like an indie-rock James Brown, yelping, cooing, and slurring his lines in a boyishly seductive fashion..." - Rated: A, San Francisco Magazine

"…San Francisco newcomers Scissors for Lefty… threatened to steal the night from the '80s British duo [Erasure] with a frisky, fun 40-minute romp through its catchy indie album Underhanded Romance." – Miami Herald

"Scissors for Lefty...ambitious, sarcastic sophistopop.... quirky, promising and quite possibly awesome. - NME

"4/5 stars....combining the quirky pop flair of the Killers with the Anglophile indie purism of their underrated Californian labelmates the Tyde, the debut album from this San Francisco quartet shows real potential..." - The Times UK

"5/5 stars...they're stellar to the core. As happy on the dancefloor as in the headphones, SFL have a plethora of tunes that can take their place alongside Franz Ferdinand and We Are Scientists in the 'rock music you can swing to' category...There isn't a single bad song on the entire album, and every listen is an absolute joy. If there is any justice we'll see Scissors for Lefty emulating the mainstream puncturing success that We Are Scientists have achieved in recent times. This immediately makes an entry into the Top Ten albums of 2007." - Alternative Ulster UK

"sublime electro-synth..." - Spin.com

"...a charismatic front-man who squeals and mumbles; a guitarist who discharges tight, delirious hooks; and a rhythm section that pumps up the jams, motherfucker..." - SF Weekly Best of 2006

"...exuberant, fast-moving danceable rock/pop full of darting keyboards, Strokes-like guitar riffs, and disco rhythms..." - Billboard

"...infused dance-pop drips with wit and brims with energy — the sound of four guys having a good time." - LA Times "Buzz Band"

"SFL have an artistic edge, a lot of esoteric flavors, and a Brian-Ferry-meets-Jarvis-Cocker vibe...one of the most compelling, exciting, and commercially viable bands to emerge out of the rich SF music scene in years! " -Aaron Axelson, Live 105/Popscene

"Two pairs of brothers are bringing dancing back to the rock concert floor - thank God...Sexy, twitchy rock with herky-jerky rhythms, '80's-style synth melodies, and a very charismatic lead singer. Sort of a Bay Area version of the Strokes, only with less attitude and more fun." - SF Magazine

"...squelchy synths and snappy, disco-happy drums...infectious, soulful, and extremely tight." - SF Bay Guardian

"In their heyday, Pulp swaggered around the Brit-pop party with a bottle of bubbly in one hand and dancing shoes in the other. They were calculated cool with enough rock to help the club kids do the stiff shuffle all night. San Francisco's Scissors for Lefty follow a similar trajectory, with electronic beats, and whispered nightcaps. Stylish without sounding too self-aware, Scissors for Lefty are an interesting amalgam of calculated styles. - Seattle Stranger

Imagine a musical style that blends present-day hard rock with classic rock elements into a unique, hard-hitting sound all its own. The Sammus Theory has done just that. Beginning in the small town of Idaho Falls in 2001 by front man and song-writer Sammus, The Sammus Theory was a diamond in the rough, which was soon to be polished. In 2004, Sammus moved to Phoenix, Arizona to extend the reach of The Sammus Theory to a bigger scene. Sitting low for ten months, Sammus began to hone in on the unique style of the music and started writing new material. In January of 2005, the project was signed to independent label OCI Records of Phoenix, Arizona.
"I personally felt we had a 'tiger by the tail' opportunity with this project", said Glen O'Hara, president of the label.
Recording at Porcupine Studios for eight months, OCI Records released The Sammus Theory's debut album "Man Without Eyes" into national distribution. The album charted on over 30 rock stations and was added to the playlists of more than 280 college and commercial rock stations nation-wide.
The Sammus Theory released a follow up EP titled "Something Special" in July of 2006, then followed up with multiple shows in California, Arizona, and Idaho.
Now releasing a second full-length album on May 1st, 2007, and preparing for a tour of the western states in the Fall, The Sammus Theory raises the bar for hard rock.

Drawing its musical inspiration from bands such as 311 and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, to Rage Against the Machine and Primus, Ultrachronic brings a brand of sound whose aggressive and provocative hybrid stylings are balanced by its persuasive hooks and pop sensibilities.

Ultrachronic broke out onto Denver's burgeoning music scene in early 2005 and proved its success by becoming "one of Colorado's best up and coming acts" [Colorado Music Buzz, June 2006]. Gaining its notoriety by playing Colorado's most reputable venues, Ultrachronic has garnered a strong following and has drawn sellout crowds both as a headliner and as a supporting act.

After rising to the top as one of Denver's strongest emerging bands, Ultrachronic's ride came to a screeching halt in the summer of 2006 when guitarist D.Scott Morris was diagnosed with an extraordinarily rare, but benign tumor in his chest that was up to 20 centimeters in width. After undergoing thoracic surgery and making a remarkable recovery, D.Scott and Ultrachronic are back stronger than ever and are picking up where they left off - armed with new songs, an upcoming LP, new life, and new energy. A post-hiatus debut at Albuquerque's Hyperactive Music Festival and Conference kicked off Ultrachronic's climb back to the top of Denver's music scene in May of 2007 - and the band is continuing to gain success both at home and in new markets.

Ultrachronic's bread and butter sound can be described as the fusion of funky bass, aggressive beats, flowing rhymes, infectious melodies, and gritty, funky guitars. Their mission: to get their people hopping. Visit Ultrachronic on the web at www.ultrachronic.com for songs and information on the band, and to sign up for news and ticket alerts to upcoming shows.
