Salutations - It was business as usual for Adam Richman and his reality card "Man versus Food" the cable program continues to score for the "Travel Channel" Richman was in the Connecticut capital city of Hartford to check in with the local cuisine hot spots. The series has posted some of the best numbers across the current television season. It mostly stays the course but still keeping the focus on the interest level and impactness factor. Season 2 has seen even better rating then the already impressive Season 1. His saying "Let's do it baby" is becoming the new hot phrase like "Is that your final answer" or "The tribe has spoken" This is a must see thing so do yourself a favor ditch the boring networks and check in with Adam Richman and the gang.

Salutations - There is a new favorite city in the 518 that you should check in for its music, transit, cuisine, scene, and other things. The city scored the highest ratings on the lead cities approval list made up of the most immense cities in five local counties. That's right the state capital of New York one of the most controversial states in the United States can give itself a hand by doing the right thing and it has nothing to do with our favorite governor David Patterson. Instead the music scene came out in a force and "Albany" led the way in scoring the highest ratings ever in the music scene. In 2007 - Albany was handed some of the best ratings ever for an out of town act in NYC's "In Flight Radio" who performed in the Red Square in May 2007 with their self titled album the NYC band scored some of the biggest ratings for a band or artist that has played Albany. It was just a seven song set but "In Flight Radio" outscored the popular local outfit "Sirsy" Adding to the state capital's ratings was the time when I played in Albany based Valentine's in which the sound person said I was the best act out of everyone who performed for the August 2007 gig. It was a set that included a cover of Alycia Ercums "Piece by Piece" In 2008 - I walked the bike trail along the Hudson River. But Albany brought about its own reunification efforts with the towering performance of September's "Lark Fest" thanks to the outfit "Matt and Kim" the weather was decent. Interesting enough Albany's highest ratings would come a month later with a new band that was generating in the shadows. With a lousy sound system in "Jillian's" it still proved to be a decent night for music as "Travis Gray and the New Frontiers" walked away with his best ratings to date and his most successful song in "So Cruel" Gray ended up getting it right this year for a song that has leaned far away from the dreaded acoustic music that is not in the best of heights with me. With more songs like this Travis and company will go far. New Orleans Mardi Gras could be this artist's calling card of immense festivals in Austin. Look for Gray to score again because he will. It has been almost two and half years since a band rocked "Albany" as hard as "In Flight Radio" did until the mysterious "Lunic" sent a thriller of a set into an audience that have had to endure the lousy sound system. It wasn't until almost the end of October that a new band would vault through the ranks to be certified my favorite before this year ended. There really was something special about the ten song set that "Lunic" played in Jillian's. Sure it was a stupid thing with the sound system but the setlist lit up like pumpkins leading their way to the front door in which trick or treaters would be given a gift and we hope it is a cd that has become one of the best to buy the band's "Lovethief" How does a band with just one single on my chart cause for people to notice that this band freaking rocks and more importantly freaking impacts. How many times have I said for me to like your shit you have to impact. "Impact" Learn what that word means if you are a musician. When "Lunic" has the right setlist mostly one from the fist shoving at society record "Lovethief" they shut everyone down because they kick everyone's perineal into the chilly waters of the Hudson River. I've seen them twice on stage and the first time I saw them at "Jillian's remains my favorite place that I've seen them. The second time I saw them in Savannah's made it clear that "The dark house" would eventually become their second single from "Lovethief" I love this band. I love how they include me and give me credit for riding a bicycle two times to Albany and back. Then recently on 12/9 to ride to Troy and still I have an excellent time despite missing their set coming for the last song "Oh No Yoko" If you haven't seen them do yourself a favor and record your favorite tv series salvage some extra money spend less on eating out. Go out and buy the "Lunic" package deal. You'll see them perform, you'll have their powerhouse effort "Lovethief" you'll also have a wonderful "American made quality shirt" "Lovethief" is ranking up there with albums like Jes Hudak's "Tiny dream" and Joe Nacco's "Requiem for Civilization" the album is my third favorite of all local artists to date. There it is "Albany" best city in my book to close out this year. Glens Falls was forced to subtract a notch second best for a fading downtown. Schenectady with its transit and Jes Hudak's thriller gig in Moon and River Cafe land the "Electric City" in third place. A less than impressive "Victorian Streetwalk" with less free things handed out to people. Also rude people and crowds for "Final Stretch Festival" didn't assist the city. The best open mic in the city was the "Circus Cafe" Saratoga Springs has been subtracting in the approval ratings because a lot of people bring their freaking attitude with them into the music scene it wasn't the best year for the city as the suburb of Wilton outscored "Saratoga Springs" with all of the issues the city iof Saratoga Springs will close down the year in position four. At the end of the approval ratings list for lead cities was Troy. Cited for not being bicycle friendly and cars pushing and shoving on US Highway 4 in most of the city as well as Revolution Hall which was a severe disappointment for me considering I thought it was going to be like this really kicking venue I wasn't so impressed and Troy lands in position five of approval ratings for lead cities. I don't care about a county's small towns I care about lead cities the biggest cities of a county or state.

Salutations - An investigation revealed that tracks that would land on "East Side Gallery" were not recorded in the best of heights. The tracks for consideration have been benched from the myspace player. Recording of "East Side Gallery" has been shut down for now. Look for changes to the myspace player with some different songs. The album title as just "East Side Gallery" has been thrown out. This has been a crazy year for the music artist after coming off the fallout of 36-3 "Mental Case" and the song 40-2 "This is who I am" before the current 40-2 "Making Sense" was written as the new song for Collection 40 "Travel" as for 21-9 "Touch the Sky" no consideration has been given should it return to the new album. Also 40-2 "Making Sense" has also the same status as there is no talk of it making the new album. Inside reports are saying that a new version of 37-9 "do you care" will land on the new album. There have been several issues with the studio before.

What up - Maybe this is the time of year we can send a message that some stores and companies need to just go out of business. Hannaford has to be the most annoying supermarket from their annoying advertisements to not releasing a flyer that is worth looking at. Not my favorite store at all. They seem to think there is a need to open a Hannaford in a lot areas that don't need one. After the 12/5 incident in Target that was enough for me to hit the chain store with a boycott. The sales person working there I can only hope they fired him.

Salutations - The studio is coming up ahead for Iaz and this time the artist doesn't even give a shit what the weather will be like. After being stranded in the first snow event that released its instability on 12/5 it was of all days a Saturday. You would think people would have a decent sense of mentality and judgement to stay home. Probably the ulcerating store also known as Wal Mart calling them to buy some Made in China shit that if I was on the receiving end of the gift I would give it the "Empire State" shove right into the trashola. The more I get upset with society the better I feel. Kind of like pushing people's buttons making people look like freaking assholes for thinking I didn't use judgement in accepting a ride with someone driving some scrap heap car that could fall apart and crash with me in it and damage my beautiful America bicycle. I might be one of the most controversial music artists and maybe people who embrace what Saratoga County needs and one thing it doesn't need is more cars from neighboring counties coming here to shop as far as 25 miles. It really annoys me when people choose to want to be in the dreaded outskirts they have to be one of the worst things baout being in this country. Sometimes I think the outskirts with lack of street lights and a line of cars driving is the one of the things that makes me want to puke. Even the capital of Saratoga County "Ballston Spa" with its jagged State Road 50 business district was useless until the arrival of "Coffee Planet but the county seat of one of the best counties in the area might need a reality check to see how other villages and the disgraceful outskirts in the towns that are in the county were doing. Some of the worst offenders in this county places that I can't stand for whatever reason things places that make me hurl include the following - The Villages of Galway,Schuylerville,Stillwater,South Glens Falls,Victory Mills and Waterford. The towns of Saratoga,Northumberland,Waterford and Stillwater. As for cities the two cities do not make the list but Saratoga Springs still has higher approval ratings then Mechanicville. The best towns in the county include the following Clifton Park,Halfmoon, and Wilton a snatch outside the city of Saratoga Springs.

Salutations - This year most people will be getting gift cards or cards there won't be the usual searching store after store for the gifts when most of the shit we are confronted to buy is from China and other countries with slave labor making the shit for Americans who insist on buying this kind of shit for gifts for other people. If someone bought me something from a sweat shit shop I would 1 - Say I don't like the gift someone else can have it. 2 - Fling it into the trashola pile. We as Americans have to stop buying this stuff go through your house and right now throw out everything you can that is "Made in China" that you don't need. This is an immense issue with me and we thought the commercialization of Navidad ruined it that honor goes to all the stuff made in these countries that we need to dump into the trashola pile. As for Navidad expect way less spending as I'm not going to subscribe to the commercialization of it. I remember getting an almost $20.00 video game for someone several years ago those days are long over. This year Navidad spending will be downgraded to about $35.00 -$50.00 I'm really not looking forward to sifting through gifts to look for people when the presents I would select are of shit quality.

The lousy tv season continues as Cbs continues to watch "Survivor" subtract in entertainment on its Thurday slot. The series starting from the episode that aired on 12/3 was downgraded to selected episodic viewing. Also more instability as the Season 15 ender of "The Amazing Race" has been shoved off the clock for 12/6 a form of downgrading a series. I have no interest in seeing the episode when it airs at its normal time. Instead I will watch the reality card later and not be thrusted with commercials.

Salutations - As expected the Albany Lata had to scale through a difficult snowstorm that made roads like State Road 29,Beaver Street,County Road 39 {King Road} Ruggles Road from CR 39 to Loudon Road dangerous. Loudon Road in Wilton from Ruggles Road to just before the Wilton Mall was still a slow roll with a lot of cars that were not driving with confidence or respecting the weather conditions which doesn't always mean come down on your speed. I'm ashamed at people in Saratoga County for thinking they could drive in this weather as reports on the computer have said it is most dangerous with the first snow of the year. People I don't care if you are on you high and mighty racehorse and want to show off to your neighborhood that your car is still the best or your truck is your friend because it can handle winter weather. I think i've formulated a new opinion about people who venture out in this weather that you don't have much going on that your credit card should be snatched right from you because you claim to have money that you don't have. Unlike most bicycles that are paid for cars are not as people make payments to the bank. In several situations one doesn't need a car. Also have you gone into a store and had someone ask you "May I help you" ok maybe once but what if a store associate was not far from you and watched what you were doing or buying and then asked you a second and third time. People really don't want to be hassled in the store by workers that are there. Finally after the guy bothered me for the third time I lashed out at him in a verbal sense and didn't swear but said something that sure as heck made him think. Lastly I was heading back on the bicycle and I think it was four people asked if I needed a ride now someone might have accepted but not for me during the area's first snow. I wanted to prove to myself that I could finish this the right way endure something very difficult and do it on my terms. It wasn't until the fourth person asked me and I was like two to three miles from home if that that I was annoyed with this lady because I said no and then she went on to justify her point it is dark. Yes I knew that I'm not stupid I could of told her do you know how many years it is that I have been riding a bicycle. I had a light with me so the lady just didn't freaking get it. Remember out of state trip 2 - When I was in Pottstown and this lady at this store was going to give me a ride and I turned her down same thing here with today it wasn't as bad as you thought but people think thoae on a bicycle it must be difficult when in actually it elevates endurance. It isn't like you are going to head to a weight room and stop because someone tell you that's too much weight. Some people need to worry about their own freaking business. It is interesting because people probably wouldn't think twice about giving that same person a ride in the middle of the night in good weather talk about a double standard can someone say ick.
