Goodness it's another weekend and I'm tired again. Today we didn't do much, but seeing as Summer is on it's way it seemed about time to get one of me bikes on the road. Not got enough to put them both on the road, infact just getting the one MOTed and serviced and TAXed has left me very poor this month. However, as Flint is growing up seemed like a good a time as any to put him on the back of me Triumph and take him for a bit of a blast.

Above is Flint getting ready, below is Flint after we've been for a blast through Solihull, having a rest in the B&Q car park.

Anyway Flint had a good time, and wanted to have another go. However, I felt a bit tight seeing as Wayland is too young to have a go so Flint had to make do with just a short blast around town.

Warwick went to see his mates so I took the remaining gang to Lickey Hills. Started off quite sunny but later it started to rain. The kids where OK with the rain, was just the slipping and sliding in all the mud they didn't really like.

Oh well, here's the pictures. Yes I know more pictures of kids doing shit, how fooking predictable!

All good adventures start with eating a wagon wheel. Don't you know!

Flint provides vital navigation here he's studding his map. Thank goodness he hasn't got much appreciation of scale! This is gonna be a long walk.

Mean while Wayland performs the equally important task of larking about and climbing on stuff!

Flint trys to explain where we are!

These paths all looked alot flatter on a map.

At last we reach castle Grey Skull! I HAVE THE POWER!!!!!

Clearly such a castle of such strategic value should be defended, from invading parents.

I hope that stick isn't loaded or clearly I'm a gonna!

Well so Flint has reached the grand old age of 7 years. We kind of had a laid back kind of a birthday, just me and the kids. I got Flint a new bike, basically Wayland is now on his bike which was just getting far too small for Flint. So we went down the local park to test it out, kind of a bit cold so we didn't waste much time before we made it to the nearest sweet shop! Rest of flints presents was a gameboy and a couple of games, some chocolate and a few other fillers. Finishing off the day we went to a Harvister to eat, shockingly expensive needless to say, next year its gonna be a sausage roll from Greggs all the way!!

Oh well, at least it's over, very tired time for me to goto bed.

OK so had a business trip to Mons this week, flew out on Wednesday and got back on Friday. This may sound cool and exciting but really there isn't anything special about the inside of a hotel:

Note the happy fellow in the mirror, either that or you can aimlessly wander round Mons at midnight bumping into cars full of pissed up girls saying the only bit of english they know "Hello, Brian." I therefore have to show them my language skills and give the only French I know "Too beau coup, too beau coup, fifty dolla, love you long time".

I really don't know what the fook is going on, feel kind of out there to be honest. The older I get and the more I see, the less I know and less I understand.

After taking the kids to town and then on to Tumble Jungle, today is really bloody boring. Rain means we can't go out anywhere nice and it simply feels like a none event of a day. Still if I can get my shit together, feed kids quick quick, there should be enough time to get them to the swimming baths, which should be good.

Christmas was hard, staying up till 4am putting together a present for the kids didn't help either. Seemed like a good idea to buy a few components for Warwicks P.C. then with the spare processor and memory build a new computer for Wayland and Flint. However, the processor arrived on Friday night and hence the only time to build the machine was christmas eve. Still I managed to simply fall asleep on the sofa for about 2 hours which really helped. The christmas roast was kind of OK, the roast potatos where kind of rushed, but they where edible.

As for the kids they had a good time, found they had crept down stairs and opened most of their presents by about 8 o'clock. Not as bad as when I was young would get up at about 5am and slip downstairs only to bring presents back to my bed and silently open them under my bed covers.

Unfortunatly the kids (Wayland and Flint) have had real difficulty getting to sleep tonight kept getting up and mucking about. Finally put them in my bed for an hour while I played King Kong with Warwick on his PC. That seems to have done the trick, moved the kids back to their own beds now it's time for me to clean my teeth and get some sleep.

Thank god it's only once a year!

OK so what did we do on Christmas Eve, well after collecting the kids from their mum we went to Kingsley Water Park for a walk and a play.

Here they are!!!!

Cheeky

Cheekyer

Making a getaway.

Getting dark time to go!

Just time to feed the ducks before it gets dark.

OK so after the park we goto see erm The Lion Witch Wardrobe. Really I know I'm a right tight bastard at heart but really should it cost 18 pounds for a parent and 3 kids to see a movie. StarCity more like ExtortionCity. Film was OK the kids liked it, which is a good thing really you dont want to be paying 18 pounds for what 2 hours tops of entertain ment for you kids to tell you it was rubbish.

Right going to wrap up last few presents and try and stuff like that ready for tomorrow.

Right what happened this week, same old shit most of the time. We had a little question and answer session with the CEO of the company. I got my question in of "there seems to be alot of directors for a company of this size." Explanation given was that directors make the company grow! Shit me if it's that easy lets just have a company of directors then, quite frankly when you have a company where the ratio of directors to non-director staff is like 1:15 you have to ask the question is that kind of overhead sustanable for a company?

Hmm, what else has happened, year Warwicks birthday, so he's now offically 13 years old and a teenager! Oh boy, we had a cake and candles and that kind of thing, got a couple of presents and stuff like that, stayed up till 1am playing computer games and shit like that.

Oh yeah and on Saturday Warwicks dad came out of the wood work for his yearly visit. Lets see maybe another visit at christmas and then I'm guessing he'll fuck off for another year.

Sunday got a couple of videos out of Blockbusters Aladin and the Muppet show, was kind of dissapointed in a way with the Muppet show because it left out all the sketches with the guests, which really are the best bits. Nevermind had the nanomana song which is great!

Right need to see if I can get hold of an AMD XP 3200+ processor for I'm building a christmas computer for the kids. Not looking hopefull as there as common as rocking hourse droppings. May have to go for a Sempron instead, not as good but cheaper.

Enough of this I'm out o here!!
