Current mood: adventurous
First, I aint worried about my periods or commas in this or the other blogs I write. I’m not teaching English. This is not a deep blog but it will get the truth out.
Now, being a pastor I have found myself teaching on tithes & offering at various times and in various places. Not wanting to speak the same thing, as I usually do on tithes and offering, I decided to see what was being said about it on the internet. And as I expected, it was like ‘entering a net’ (in-ter-net). I found many sites discouraging tithing and offering and few sites encouraging the sacred practice. A Christians not giving tithes or offering in support of their ministry is dumfounding to me!
Let me say this… too many Christians allow demons to teach them rather than maturing in the word for themselves or going to a real man of God to hear sound doctrine. No where in the word of God do we hear the word saying, tithing and offering is unnecessary! You can’t take what God doesn’t say and say he said it. Allow me to say this as well (I might lose some of you here)… some Christians eat from too many tables! We’re at Benny Hinn’s one day and at Jakes, Hickey, Dollar, Parsleys, our friends pastor or a hole in the wall the next. Some so-called believers wouldn’t know a false prophet if he bit ‘em on the butt. (No I didn’t say these guys were false prophets) My point is find a preacher that has and preaches the word of God, stay there and support him. Stop eating and sitting on the toilet at the same time.
How else will the church be supported outside of tithes and offerings? No where in the scriptures do we see tithing put away with. No where in the scriptures are we commanded or told we do not have to tithe. What’s the problem? The problem is, we have an enemy that doesn’t want the church or the gospel to spread. If we love God tithing and offering is a none issue. We will want to support the church. Without the tithes and offering we will have no church support. I am not going to get into all of the foolish arguments people use to discourage tithing and offering but if not giving in the Old Testament was robbing God (Mal. 3: 8) then not giving tithes is still robbing God in the New Testament. I have found where the bible says tithing is required but I have not found where the bible says it isn’t.
Tithing and offering is free-will because God doesn‘t make anyone do it. If you don’t bring tithes and offering the bible says you are robbing God (Malachi 3: 8) period. This should be a non-issue to real believers! Why would we care if you have to give off of the net or the gross??? If we love God we’ll just want to give that 10% and a reasonable offering or more. God loved us so much he gave to us his only begotten son so we ought to want to give so that the message of salvation can go to the whole world.
Sure there are pastors who steal from the church and do wrong with the churches money but there are other professionals who steal as well. Find a true man of God and stop going to preachers that are crooks. Those who don’t tithe regardless of their excuse is robbing God. That’s the word!

Bad Lessons I learned in church
Many a pastors are holding there own in today's pulpit. It's hard for 'em but they manage to trust in God in spite of the attacks on their lives from the pew and spiritual Absalom sons (you know, ministry sons who want your throne). But many a 'Pastors' have never did right. In fact they were never called they just went. They needed some extra money and they found a foolish flock. Now I did learn some good lessons in church but far too few. You really have to seek out a good shepherd who is willing to tell you the truth. Salvation is by grace not works. Here's some of the crazy things I learned and am desperate to forget.
One of the first things I learned in the 'Church of Man' was self righteousness. Really, as I think about it, I wasn't taught the word. I was taught to stop this and stop that and you will be saved. But there is nothing you can do to be saved but repent, confess and believe. There were so many things they required you to do. Women couldn't wear pants or make-up nor could they get perms. And they used the bible to justify this craziness. The men couldn't play basketball or wear short pants. Also, you better not listen to anything but 'gospel music' or you in a lot of trouble little fella.
Another thing I learned was that if you were in any other religion or part of any other denomination you were on your way to hell with gasoline draws on. But the bible says, other sheep I have which are not of this fold, them must I call also. Most 'Jesus Only' and Pentecostal got this bad. The 'aint nobody saved but me isms'. there is no private interpretation of scripture. No one person or denom has it all or knows it all. Oh, and you had to be baptized in Jesus name, not the father, Son, and the Holy Ghost.
Third, I learned that it was wrong to go to school as a preacher or go to school to learn to be a preacher. They said that the Holy Ghost would give you what to say. Then I learn most of the preachers saying that were ignorant themselves (OUCH, I know it's rich, but it's true). But the scripture says study to show thyself approved unto God… This ignorant attitude is still strong in the church of today.
Forth, many a religious folk talked about love, and that's just what it was, talk! If you don't believe me, walk in there with pants on, they will talk about you and act like you aren't even sitting there. Them ole women would get in yo face! But they aint gone offer you no dress. Not a new dress anyway. Some even have signs in their so-called church that say, No Pants or Do Not Wear Pants In This Church. What hospital denies treatments because of a dress code? Jesus healed the sick he didn't turn them away because of their clothes. Hell is filled with these religious folk. Sure there is so much more I could say but I hope these few things encourage us to study God words rather than trying to gain man's approval. I made it through because I was looking for Jesus, and sure, it has cost me and is costing me daily. It's worth the price. Peace.

Can a Pastor have sex with any one besides his wife?
Jeremiah 3:15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
Believe it or not, many don't know the answer to this question. It's amazing how we have high standards for athletes and their coaches, politicians, college professors, lawyers, and other professionals but when it comes to our pastors the bar drops almost to the floor. People will let any ole snag-a-tooth jackass lead them.
We want the best teachers in our public classrooms and if we, as parents, get word about a no-good teacher, we'll have a hissy fit! It's amazing how people will support someone who cannot tell them a thing about being faithful to their wife and even make excuses for them. Even other women who have been done in themselves will amen a pastor who is injecting his own wife with germs from a diseased street / church whore.
Some of these ole national meetings aint nothing but a booty-call. (Pssss, even some of the first ladies are involved in this… but don't tell anyone I told you). Then some of these preachers get on their knees, and speak to God, with that filthy carpet munching (You know what I mean) mouth. NASTY! Munch yo own carpet!
I'm going to loose somebody here, It is perverted for a pastor to have sex with his own member! OWN MEMBER! A shepherd shouldn't sleep (have sex) with his sheep, but rather be a spiritual father! How can one who is supposed to represent God do such nasty, sinful things? Acts 20:28 Don't use the blood of Jesus and the word of God to seduce women for sex.
The answer is, No! God always exposes that whore-monging, excuse making preacher but the people lift him up in his sin. A man of God should flee this sin and resist this temptation and be an example of self-control. Pastors should feed, nurture and pray for God's women not prey upon them! More is coming on this subject. Peace.

Can Women Be Pastors / Preachers?
This is a short version.
1Cor. 14: 34 34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
It could not be talking about 'women not preaching' because in other parts of the word we see women prophets. teachers and judges. Deborah was a judge in the book of Judges. Anna was a prophet... and Jesus told the women at the tomb to go and tell (preach) the disciples that He was alive. It leans more towards a woman not usurping (taking) authority over a man which means ruling a man. (Treating a man like a mama's boy, you know we cannot stand this!) God or a man must give a woman authority. If God or a man gives her the authority that's different. It's leaning more towards, everyone, not just the woman staying in their place. You have to read the verses before this one and it will help you to understand.

Are you blessed?
Be honest, are you really blessed or do you just have a lot of material things? We call that 'blessed' you know. Every since I could remember, Christians, that I've been around, ask God to drop things out of heaven rather than going out and working hard for what they want. They give money to preachers or casinos (Oops, I mean) churches, not because they love God and want the gospel to spread, but because they want a 'hundred fold return'. Heck, you might as well go to the casino. When the Lord said, he would open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing, he wasn't talking about pouring money from heaven. Wake up church folk! THERE IS NO MONEY IN HEAVEN! And if gold fall from heaven it's gonna kill somebody.
We pray for 'money' blessings and sit on our asses (donkeys) rather than putting our asses (donkeys) to work. Then we sleep under the AC and rebuke the 'cold demon' when we get a cold. For years I have seen people laugh their butts off at the crazy things 'church people' do and say. I used to get angry at them but then I stood back to see what they were seeing. And you know what? It is funny. Today's church folk are tooooooo funny. Talking bout letting the Lord have his way… and if you're going to dance in church today, you better practice at home nephew. The steps are getting complicated.
It aint funny how folk tes-ti-lie about being blessed with a car and then won't pick anybody up and ride around high-minded. As a pastor, I have heard people testify about prosperity blessings and then won't even tithe. And they ask the to pray that they will win this law suit and "I'm gone really bless the church!" PLEASE. Material things will not last nor are they a sign that God has blessed you! Remember some years ago when everybody was talking about "Money cometh unto me now?" What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul? And what about the drug dealers, corrupt business men, and criminals who have all these things? Are they blessed?
The issue with the church is, it lust for worldly comforts. And if they have to choose with being comfortable or saved, they will change the gospel so that they can be comfortably saved. They say, "All the blessing of Abraham are mine!" yet their savior had nowhere to lay his head. They would rather follow Abraham but Jesus said, "Before Abraham was I AM." Anybody can possess material things. All you have to do is work for them. It seems many are claiming to be blessed and yes they have the house, car, job but they are lacking heavenly things. Read Luke 16:19 there was a certain rich man… he went to hell. Even the disciples didn't believe rich folk go to hell too.
In the book of Matthew, Jesus spoke of the deceitfulness of riches STEALING the sown word of God from those who hear it. (Matthew 13)
Matthew 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. 22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
One of the most hated scriptures in the bible. So called christians are always trying to put a prosperity spin on this one; somebody gone email me when they read it to correct me.
Matthew 19:23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. 24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? 26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Most church folk are easy to deceive. All you have to do is say, The Lord told me to tell you this or that and they will listen, even if the person who is saying it has tried to get into their draws. Church folk love 'Pocket Book' prophecies and 'Pretty Boy' preachers.
So are you blessed? If you want to be blessed read below: (If I was a bettin' man, I would bet most folks who read this won't even know what these sayings mean)
Matthew 5:1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: 2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, 3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. 6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. 7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. 10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

It's A Set-up
We all have heard it and we all have liked it. It sounds good and makes you feel great. It appeals to every part of our being. You know… God's going to give you this… God's doing to give you that. You're going to get blessed! You're going to be wealthy. Man that sounds good. But is it scriptural? God has not promised his children earthly wealth or comfort and if he did why aren't all of his children rich. You have to be careful here because folks will exchange what scripture is really saying for what they want to hear.
Some things in scripture can be preached literally and some things of scripture must be preached figuratively. In order for us to have Abrahams blessings like Abraham we must have the circumstances that Abraham had. Often 'christians' only want a part of Abraham's blessing, you know, riches. But Abraham had impeccable integrity when it came to 'money'. HE NEVER ASKED GOD FOR WEALTH. GOD APPROACHED HIM TO BLESS HIM! Hummm. We should allow God to ask us like he asked Solomon, What do you want me to give you? If we please him and seek him first, we might not have to ask him for nothing. He might just ask us!
Abraham left his country… have you? He had no children (at first)… do you? He believed God, obeyed him, and received what God had promised. Have we? Faith is not what we want God to do but faith is obeying what God has commanded us to do. How would you like a child that was always asking for something?
Scripture alludes to a time when you cannot buy or sell without a mark on your head or hand. Think about it… BUY. So many 'Christians' have bought the, God wants me to have whatever I want prosperity lie, that when the Mark of the Beast manifests, they will receive it gladly because they love buying and selling.
Here are three things of scripture that alludes to the church being lead into covetousness, idolatry (Making money their God) and:
1) Who in scripture built the Golden Calf? If you don't know it was Aaron! (Exodus 32) That's right a Preacher! And there are a lot of Aarons out there today building golden calves for the people to worship, setting them up to receive the Mark of the Beast. While the Moses' of our time are communing with God on the mountain, other preachers, who could have a dynamic ministry, are listening to the congregation and giving the congregation what they want; false Gods!
2) Hundreds of the Hebrews sat at Nebuchaddnezzars table calling it 'The blessings of God in their captivity' Daniel 1. Eating the kings meat and drinking the kings wine. But the Three Hebrews knew… This is not a blessing from the Lord and we will not eat or drink. They said, feed us what the Lord commanded us to eat and we will be healthier and wiser than the rest! Take what God has given you, work hard, and be faithful and wise!
3) It doesn't make sense. That's what the world does!!! But I know people won't hardly join your church if you tell the truth because they have itching ears 2Timothy 4: 3. Jesus told us to beware of false prophets. Their strength is, they look like sheep, but really, they are wolves! It's a Set-up.
This is just a small sample. You can be sure, if God permits, more is coming from me on this subject! You can't blog it all in a day!
Sincerely,
Apostle Casey Perry (apostle_perry@ yahoo.com)

Why I Hate Going To Weddings
It's not that I hate weddings, let the record state that personally I would rather go to a wedding after there has been a marriage because not to many people are staying together. Think about it… they invite all of their friends, a pastor (Whose church they probably don't attend or half attend) and half of the church staff, most of the time those participants in the wedding are spending their own money on a tux or a dress, and you have relatives and others driving in from out of town, and if the couple doesn't stay together… a lot of time and resources have been wasted. If people would put the same effort in a marriage that they put in a wedding the marriage might last. Often, the bride and groom are too tired to consummate their marriage on their honeymoon because they have exhausted themselves preparing for the wedding.
Heck, not to many are even trying to stay together and be faithful. Don't misunderstand me, I know that sometimes a divorce is 'necessary' but I think before any breaking up takes place, consideration should be given of all those folks who took time to attend the wedding. If you are like me you hate to waste time. I say, let the initial wedding be private and conservative. Maybe family and the closest of friends only. Then after a year or so have a wedding celebration. Let family and friends bring gifts then. Most folks are not virgins when they marry anyway and have already been fornicating and even already living together. In my opinion, the don't need a wedding, they need to get married.
Look at all the weddings you have been to. How many of those couples are still together? News FLASH: People will divorce and then invite you to another wedding. Try this, add up the time of everyone attending, and think about those playing a role in the wedding also, when you add up all of those hours you have a lifetime. Last thing is this, please don't take this article personally, this is just my opinion!
