Hello All,

Great Escape Central would like to welcome Bill Thompson, and Chris Iuliano to our GECentral.com family. Both offer a ton of experience of the inner-workings of the park, as well as living in the area all their lives and have an extensive background knowledge of the park based on their past management roles at the park. They have also been put in charge to help keep the site up to date when I am not around, and to help keep the forums safe and spam free. I want to personally thank both for extending their hand out to be a part of the ORIGINAL Great Escape Fan Site, GECentral. There will be more additions to our team in the upcoming year, as we plan to expand our site even further. We look very forward to what we have planned in the upcoming months, and we are sure that you will too. Within the past 6 months, we have had over 100,000 page views, and we couldn't have done it without you, our loyal GECentral.com readers.

Also, we have added new videos to our videos section of the site. Once the 2008 season is underway, we will post hi-def footage of most of the rides within the park as well. Also look for bi-weekly podcasts with various upper-level management as well.

Great Escape Central

Thank you to everyone thus far for the kind words.

For those of you who dont know us, we are Great Escape Central.. located at www.GECentral.com. We are the "official" unofficial website and forums, of The Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom. We used to have a myspace page, and we had over 3,000 members - but unfortunately our site got "phished".. so we are starting from scratch.

We also have a member forum, which is extremely popular. Our forums have been mentioned in The Post Star, and The Times Union, as well as other "fan sites" on the internet. We mostly talk about The Great Escape, and everything involving it. But, we also talk about the Lake George area in general. The forums aren't a dead place - there is tons of activity on it every single day. The Great Escape tried to shut down our forums, because we had exclusive "behind the scene" photos of a coaster that is on their property, a coaster in which they denied even having.
