The worst movie of 2007?

Transformers.

Oh all right, so it may not have been the worst. But out of the few movies I've seen, due to being way too hard to please when it comes to them, it takes the prize for being lamest/worst/other negative adjectives.

In a nutshell, Transformers is 2 1/2 hours of massive explosions as shiny robots duke it out against military forces and/or their own shiny brethern. . . Hell, that makes it sound somewhat entertaining. . . The main dialogue of the movie consists of government dudes (see, I'm an expert here) throwing around BIG TECHNOLOGICAL/MILITARISTIC TERMS!, because I really believe that they know what they're talking about. Conversely, there's also the humble story of Shia LaBeouf, dealing with being socially awkward around his peers and especially chicks. By the end of the movie, he picks up some hot babe and is an epic intergalactic hero. Never saw it coming.

And. . . yeah. I'm not even going to start bashing the generic Good vs. Evil plotline. I admit that the movie was putting me to sleep, so I can't quite recall all of the little details. . . But it was a generic Good vs. Evil plotline, I'll tell you that!

To leave a memorable ending to this little rant-slash-review, I believe I'll quote Comic Book Guy with, "Worst. Episode. Ever."
