Dear Friends,
In the oncoming weeks we,  New Royalty, will be taking a little trip to Halifax "Bang City" Nova Scotia. While we are there, we will be attending a few social events that we would love to have you accompany us to.

The first of these two evenings of sweaty sweaty love, will be February 6th at the always lovely Coconut Grove. With the usually dashing, mostly mysterious The Beginners, and the always captivating and charming Superfantastics.

The next evening we will be trying not to drown in other people excitement over at Gus's Pub. Why are they so excited you ask? Because The Gideons are releasing their barn-burner of an album. Along with us, local wonder kids The Stance, and terrifyingly aptly named Bloodsport will be bowing-down to their greatness.

Please come "put that thing down, flip and reverse it." with us; we would love to have you.

Haaalllo everybody! I tried to write a poem, (I really did just try) but it wasn't nearly as clever as Tristan's. So I'm sticking with the non-shakespearean way of writing.
As you may have read, we've been nominated for Pop Recording of the Year for the PEI Music Awards! You should all come! We, along with many, many wonderful artists will be performing and the awards will be given out (and you get to dress up if you want).The awards gala will be held on Saturday, January 17th on the Confederation Center Main Stage. Tickets are $20 dollars. GO GET ONE NOW.
Merely three days later, we will be playing at George's Fabulous Roadhouse in Sackville, New Brunswick, my fav small town, with WINTERSLEEP and PLANTS AND ANIMALS. We're sort of excited about that.
With that, I will leave you and get back to my OH so exciting school work.

we're getting so close to being done!
just a few more trips in and we should have at least 1 song ready for all you to dance to(or sit on the bus to class and wiggle your big toes to)

i'm getting really excited about this, we're making lists of things to do, checking them off and acting like big kids(well i guess i should be. . . )

snow is falling again here in pei, its a good thing.
we now have a good excuse again to just curl up with our glockenspiels, and guitars.

-the girls!
-alcohol(Tristan's only)

Well....just kidding. I'm Lily and I am currently pretending to research expository essay examples, but don't worry, i'm really not.
Believe it or not, I'm experienced in the art of blog writing, but I do not think that will help me now. No I don't. Morgan and Isaac are beating me down as we speak, figuratively, and literally tomorrow probably.

In other news, my cat Pinkerton came back Monday night. In other other news, we play a show soon, and it will not be pretty. I will be pretty though, so maybe that will make up for it. But probably not..

OH HAI! I'm here, writing the first blog. Why I made this my job, I'm not quite sure. Thanks for being interested anyway. We haven't got any music up yet, but BE PATIENT! The time will come. In the meantime, entertain yourself by reading my dreadfully boring blog. Here we go...

We haven't got many friends, so considering the fact that the amount of friends you have on myspace/Facebook determines your social status, I'm hoping the friends list will grow. But don't judge! Please. We have a few shows coming up, soo we'll make up for it then. You should probably go. They'll be dance-session-waiting-to-happen kind of shows I'm assuming. I'm especially excited to see The Death Set and Windom Earle. Anywho, considering I'm not much of a blog writer, which you've probably already guessed, I'll part my way, pour myself a big glass of milk, wander around my house, try to stay warm, and hum a song that's been in my head all day.
