Upon my head I wear a crown of histories sadness...
Sons of ancestors pass DNA on to me
Times have changed and yet they don't
Vulgar supplications, what does that mean?

I'm forgiven but I’m not it’s a strange Dichotomy
The lord he saves yet slight infraction dooms me
Did I inherit the soul of sin, cursed passed on?
I’m confused o' forgiving GOD of vengeance, blaspheme?

I wear no halo
Nor no horns
Expectations unreasonable

Game of life
Set up to fail
80% good still go to hell, not feasible

You want 100% of me?
Where is yours
When the seraphs come?

Comfort my soul!
I’m “temptation insane”
You already know & done

Why the pretense pomp and ‘stance?
Game of life, house wins, cards stacked

I wear no horns
The signs are there
But where's the help

I wear no halo
The arrows point
What's spiritual wealth?

Crown and cup of gold or thorns and copper
Advantage he had, humble in humble out

I’m a sinner with no halo or horns of gold or bone
Forgiven? Heaven shouldn’t keep me out
