What's happening?

It's been a while since I've posted any new items here but hopefully there'll be more soon. Accessing MySpace has started to become very awkward indeed - the home page takes far to long to load and both my own profile page and those of others have been causing huge memory leaks and freezing my system. No other sites do this, even when I frequently have multiple windows open so I'm mystified.

The front page now has less on it (assuming someone here doesn't invite themselves to put new adverts or gadgets in place) so it loads a little quicker. My browser still reports around 6 errors and 70 odd warnings but that is still far less than some other pages here. Since we are not allowed access to the entire page's html code to edit offline this is the best I can do.

So, my apologies. Watch this page.

A companion piece to what may have been the first item I ever published here. Animation and music combine completely in this new offering from Ani-Music - superb.

Never heard of them before, but I rather like this one. The song's called "Just to be you" and that's all I know. Filing it under World Music for now.

A Fine new video from Jarvis as usual, but you really really really wouldn't want to take a ride in the back of his cab.

A short film based here in London. No music and no animation? Tough - today I felt like a change.

Something special to start the new year - more animation than music this time round. This clip is an exquisite rendition of various works of art - many of them by some of my own favourites. Watch and see what I mean.

A little something for the weekend - or maybe to bring in the New Year. There's little left unsaid about Eric Clapton as the former Cream guitarist turned fretboard monolith. This is a rather fine live version of "Layla" - originally recorded a couple of years after Cream themselves disbanded.

Fresh from by inbox, "Get Up" is the new single from Chris Singleton here in the UK.

It's gone midnight and that day is here. In case anyone actually checks in tomorrow I thought I'd better post a little something. If we're going to celebrate this religious-cum-capitalist extravaganza, let's choose some halfway decent music. Chris Rea is an old hand at the chug-along stuff even if this one's a bit overly sentimental. Come the New Year, we'll probably be playing "Road To Hell" once again.

Havva Nice Day.

But forever fine. This is an "unplugged" version of "Wild Horses, a beautiful classic by the Stones. And of course ... happy birthday to Keith!
