Art Issue # who knows?
"reboot, refresh, restart. Fresh page, new day, o.g.'s, new key..."
Well, hello kids... It's been a while since I have sat down and did one of these.
I guess I should go into a few personal things... Like what the hell happened to my eye? How did I break my knuckle? and on down the line. But that does not interest me. I was recently asked if I thought I was a little old to be doing that? I explained that I'm not dead, and that I am a little too twisted to go with the common norm...
See - you almost sidetracked me. So, I will just scoot to the side here and start with the pictures and things that have recently caught my eye. Thank you...

"Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn."
Hi, My name is David Gumm and I am an addict. "Hi David!"
Hi. Well, it all started years ago for me. Crack, Smack and all the little nuances that come with the trade. I was into everything. Uppers, downers and the in-betweeners to help me with the highs and lows. I liked that nice even brain drain. You know the one where you don't have to think. Where you can just stare at a dot on the wall and worlds unfold from it. Lackeys and squatters, crack shacks, aging prostitutes and strippers.
Sorry, I was thinking about something else.
We can get back to the other story later.
Let me get to why I am here now... I have no idea why I am here now?! I once thought there was a reason for everything. You know, I guess in some dark circles there is a reason for everything. But, I can't quite remember the details anymore. Everything these days are blurring together. Good, bad, ugly and indifferent, it all sounds like a low hum like a bug buzzing around annoying your ear.
So, in the meantime between blackouts and shady deals I've been freezing my ass off in North Dakota, sunning my buns in Florida. Hanging out with my girls and dorking around with The Dork Group. I see that MySpace has shut off my links to the site. Understandable. It's shady like everything else in my life.
But, I have gone through the motions of updating it anyway. Even though my MySpace page won't acknowledge it, the page is alive. And it's not a spammer page. In fact it is one of the few ad free sites left in the biz. I don't care for advertising. In fact I loathe it. Sure it pays the bills, but again it's that low hum in my ears. I hear it, see it everywhere. Unless, someone gives me a large chunk of change for putting their crap on my site, I can live without it.
Wow, nice rant David.
I always think of Family Guy with their advertsing spoofs when I see advertising now.
Anyway, where did I go? Oh yeah, my Dork Group blog. It's updated and not so crude anymore. Well, the newer post is spot on. Some of the older posts are missing their images and not in alignment. But, that is due to my DivShare account where I house my stuff. I paid to have a direct link. Obviously, I don't pay it anymore. Or you would see the images from the direct link. They are still there, I am just lazy enough not to care. They are older posts. In the land of Blog, past usually stays in the past. Again, it's kinda shady. Music and crap you have heard here, but that is why I created The Dork Group in the first place. To give my media a resting place beyond MySpace.
So, I may or may not update it regularly. Depends on which way the wind is blowing. One of the benefits of an ad free site. I answer to the boss I kinda like. Me.
Anyway, here's a screen grab from my fandangled site.

Wooooo! I know. I just wanted a more user friendly site. No cute pull downs to get to a menu, easy reference, that ol' bag.
Anyway, I grow weary of talking. I know, very rude of me. Again, I am at the point of not really caring anymore. Doing what feels right seems to work at this point. One of the other perks of doing the right thing. It stings less in the end.
Once again, I am shutting up for a bit. I will continue with my drug addiction story later.
In the meantime, you can check out my site if you like. What? You made it here, surfing around online, looking for the answer. I may not have it, but I have pretty colors to look at.

Okay kids... you know I love you, but you have to go. I am about to do some junk that young eyes shouldn't see. That's the problem with addiction. It makes you do ugly things...
ha ha ha!
Later punk asses!

It all will fall, fall right into place.
Once again - A quick hi, guess what I am doing blog. My time is once again running on full speed.
So, I am in North f*cking Dakota right as we speak and I am freezing my ass off. My luggage is still in Denver with all my winter gear in it, my phone doesn't get service up here. Just oodles and oodles of fun.
Anyway, when things get settled here I will post an art blog. Found some pretty good stuff. Plus, I may throw in a piece or two of mine.
Ugh! going outside for a smoke - wish me luck! It's a whoppin' 19 degrees out, and dropping.
Anyway, will post a better blog shortly.
Love You <3

I had a whole page worth of rants and me going off for the pure sake of going off. But, I am still in way too good of a mood for that. Maybe some other time.
But I will share this with you:
It's literally been a year since I showered and shaved. I had to today. I couldn't even stand stinky boy anymore...
Hope your New Year was good! Hope it sticks...
Keep it dirty kids...

You got a boyfriend and indeed his name is Slick Nick that is why Annabelle you're caught with the shrimpy limp dick trick I ride around town cause my ride is fly I shot a man in Brooklyn just to watch him die. Curled up in my bed, get up, skate, take my little punk to skool, wonder around the house, drink, smoke, and that's about it... I am afraid to admit it - but Mexico wiped my ass out. Hmmmm, oh yeah, why I'm here! Okay, I'm finally making it out of my driveway. Functioning like an actual human being. But - ugh! my bed is the most comfortable yummy goodness place on earth. I can't help it. So, since I am up - I'm going to need phone numbers again. Of course, I had to leave my latest phone in Mexico. Plugged in and charging as we speak. So, I got a cheap ass phone to at least communicate while I am here. So, of course all my numbers are on the other phone, cause I'm brilliant and never write anything down. So numbers - David kinda needs them So fork em' over. I'm going to go eat breakfast and when I come back - there better be numbers of the peoples of whom I really wanna see while I'm back in the hood. Don't make me single you out. Tonight
We celebrate Feneliz's birthday. Like our house needs a reason to celebrate anything.
We didn't have Mariachi's tonight, but we did have local musicians come to the house and play for us (or for Feneliz). I wish I would have brought my camera down. The musicians played very formal, traditional songs for her. I think it actually topped the Mariachi's that were here from the last party.
It was a very good night.
Also, to let you kids know, I will be home the 22nd of October.
Viva Bitches!

Hmmm, let see??? Things going on this week???
Well, I pretty much lost my voice to a very serious sinus infection. Though, I am on some pretty cool meds. I asked at the farmacia "So, will these meds go down easy with vodka and smokes?" Obviously they didn't find it as humorous as I did. Nor did I really. When I first got here in Mexico, I lost a friend of mine. He had a sinus infection that led to pneumonia and that was all he wrote. And that took place in a couple days. So, I kid cause it hit a little close to home for me.
I really don't want to be taken out by a cold. Sure, I am still crazy as a band of thieves, I still drink too much, smoke too much, all of the above. But, to be taken out by something common would just piss me off.
But, I think I am passed the heavy sh*t. Though, I am still having some crazy ass dreams. I fall asleep - dream some pretty vivid things, wake up and go "what the hell was that about?" and then fall back asleep later, and the dreams pick up where I left off. My mind must have set them on TiVo. But, I have seen and talked to Don Juan Mattus and Don Gennaro, and I don't even have a clue on what they really looked like in real life. Though, I am sure not too many people really know if they existed or not? (You will have to read some Carlos Castaneda books to get what I am saying here).
But, all in all - some crazy dreams. Plus, I see general people I really know in real life. Which is strange, cause normally when I dream, I know the people in my dreams are not really who they are. They are just dreams. But this go around, they seem to be the real deal. It must be Mexico, or the moon or something. But, I am enjoying the ride in the process.
Anyway, just a blog to 'blah' about something. Sick of work, talking about work, being around work. Though, it's really not all that difficult. Plus, the people here all fucking rock! But, I am going a little more crazy than usual. Mexicans can throw down harder than I can. That's just upsetting. But, they still all pass out way before me. Try to keep up with this insomniac!
Anyway, my date home has been pushed back to October 25th instead of the 22nd. Not too happy about that. But, I will be home in time for Halloween! F*ck Yeah! I am at a tough spot on thinking on what I want to be this year. I've got a little bit of time to think about that. Hopefully the 'pumpkin place' where we get our stuff at will still have some cool sh*t. But, I may end up going to some leather shop for some cool clothes, not sure just yet...
Anyway, meds kicking in... I can see through the back of my eyelids, not sure if that's a good sign or not. Maybe the vodka and smokes wasn't such a good chaser? Ha!
Later punk asses! See you soon....

Oh, Oregon folks. I am planning a trip out Christmas time or after. I planned for September, but Mexico kinda squashed that one. Whatever, like I don't travel enough.
Anyway, some cool waves, tastey bud and I am just fine...
later...

If a man constantly aspires is he not elevated?
All right kiddies, I have two minutes to myself so I figured I would write and say hi. "hi"
Okay, If you have come to my page and expecting to hear music and see my dorky ass sh*t that I have posted - I must apologize. Since I have been in Mexico, I pulled some money out of my bank account. And in that process, my bank believes that it was possible fraud. "Why is somebody named David pulling money from a Mexican bank?" So, they have shut my account down for now.
Also, being in Mexico, my cell phone doesn't work. And the phones at work don't make international phone calls. So, I write my bank through email telling them that it is not fraud, it is me that is pulling money in Mexico. I asked them for help, if they could unlock my account, I would be able to pay everyday things: car insurance, rent, food, the usual. They write back: "Call us, we'll help." - pinche bank!! Needless to say, I will be canceling my service with them as soon as my feet touch down on familiar soil.
So, in the grand scheme of things - the only online thing I pay money for hasn't got paid, so DivShare put me back down in the free account status. So, once again, the bandwidth is way over the limit.
Thankfully Michelle is able to money out for the things they need around the house. Una's doctor visits, etc. Thankfully! Other than that I am screwed until I get home. But, yet again - the story of my life.
On the good foot - I am still having a pretty good time. The Mexicans here are some of the most courteous, friendly giving people I have ever met. I hear a lot "My house is your house." And they are actually being genuine about it.
Also, I have been in contact with some people whom I never thought would ever talk to me again. And that's rather cool. I would like to think I have grown a little since some of the things that have happened over time, but I somehow think I really haven't grown that much.
Also, I have come across a couple of people of whom I never thought I would never see again. And it's really good to see them. I am quite happy about that. It's really strange, yet really cool at the same time. So, I am not sure on what to say about it, or even if I should. There has been a lot of water that has passed under that bridge. So, I just watch, wait and see.
Well, my break is about over, I better get back to my sweatshop known as work. But, I thought I would drop in and say hi...
"hi"
Later punk asses!
Be home in about a week...
<3 you!
