The delivery of this sermon may cause some distress to you, as it has to me.

Much to my dismay, this morning, I was informed that one of my partners in swine must deal with a squeal in his personal sty, leaving us one trotter short of the whole hog. A pig can't fly when one's in the sty, so we've been forced to leave you in a state of porkus interruptus. And as our duties became deliverance, your expectation must become understanding. It's only a poke in the eye of the storm.

We will return, hard, loud and lard, to slam the ham with those yet untouched by the God of Gammon.

Keep a pig's eye out for the fiendish fruits of our labour thus far. A special thanks to all of those who have followed, helped and supported us - you know who you are... and we know where you live.

A Touch of Upheaval
Due to wartime-style border hassle, confiscations and harrassment happening to our label mates and several other touring bands upon re-entering the US from Canada, we have made the difficult decision to remove our Toronto and Vancouver dates from the first leg of the All Hamerican Pig Show.

Our sympathies are with the fans and the bands who have had to cancel entire tours because one or more of their band members have been detained, merch confiscated, etc.), but for PIG fans, the good news is two-fold.

1.) Our later Canadian mini-tour will massage those hard to reach areas. More to come on that one, hold your nerve.

2.) We've taken our favourite confirms as anchor points and re-routed the entire tour to include more US cities, better venues and a better chance for Hamerican piglets to catch more than one show.

We will not announce any dates on the tour until pre-sales have been established. If you're worried about a PIG date falling on the same date as any other bands that are ostensibly in our genre, don't be. We're never that sodding drunk.

Our opening slots for bands are full. Our regrets to everyone who's offered to play with us. There just ain't enough hours in the day to have mini-festivals at every stop, but we appreciate those who are willing to stand up with the villains. We'll put out an all call for next time.

Pigmartyr was released to no fanfare on a tiny label with no effort, no backing, no promotion and no US domestic availability. It was not mastered. It was not finished. But it went out. No changing history. Re-releasing it as is was not an option.

PIGMATA is fully mastered, glistening with fresh gore and silhouetted in the doorway of your bedroom waiting to change your inclinations. The same songs, presented properly, as intended. The director's cut, if you will. (Or even if you won't - we like the squirming.) There are also three new songs that did not appear on the limited release of Pigmartyr.
