B-Law introduced me to Cracked, and they have some pretty good videos. Here is one that is pretty good.

Greatest Medication Side Effect Ever! -- powered by Cracked.com
Tuesday, November 11, 2008
I am back. I had a bit of time away due to work and travel and such. There is not so much going on at the moment, however, I did want to drop a line to everyone about Ghettosgiving or Wild Turkey Day. B-Law started doing this a while a go and we are still doing it. It happens to be at my house this year. Pretty much us just hanging out, playing video games, drinking, eating, and relaxing. It is not so much a party as just getting away from all the holiday craziness that we don't so much care for.
We are starting at 2:00pm cooking the turkey so people should probably show up some point after that. We will have more information as we figure out what is going on. Naturally, we know that most of you will have other plans, so don't worry if you can't make it.
In the meantime, here is an impromptu list of things that B-Law and I are taking care of:

01.) Turkey - Greenstar Organic
02.) Stuffing - Generic bag stuff
03.) Bottle of Wild Turkey -
04.) Scalloped Potatoes - boxed variety
05.) Regular Potatoes - produce
06.) Yams - from a can
07.) Cranberry sauce - from a can
08.) Plates
09.) Napkins

As people tell me what they are bringing, I will add you to the list so as not to reproduce dishes.

Current mood:  working
Category: Quiz/Survey
Working, but here is a survey I did while taking a break.

-Do you flip your pillow to the cold side?
Not on purpose, but I suppose so.

-Do you like to hold or be held?
Huh. Um. Depends I guess.

-Do you want a small or big wedding?
How about no wedding. I don't need a church to recognize anything I do. I really don't even care about if the state does either.

-What type of girls/guys do you usually go for?
Well, there is no usually so this is un-answerable.

-Would you rather be rich and unhappy or poor and happy?
The assumtion here is that I can be made unhappy, but really I can alter any situation to make things better even if it just changing my perspective on things. For that matter, anyone can. So I i will be rich and then be happy anyway.

-Have you ever churned butter?
I have not. I would not know the first things about it. Sounds interesting though. :)

-What is the most money you would spend on a pair of shoes?
Yea, $100 is about it. Perhaps higher if they were really good boots, but not much.

-If you were a crayon, what color would you be?
Transparent.

-If you could win a couple front row tickets to a game, any sport, any team,
where would you go?
Right to Ebay to sell them off. I don't really like to go to concerts/games/etc where I have to travel to and from.

-Would you rather help someone out or be helped out?
Help someone. I should be able to take care of myself at this point so if I needed to be helped, I have dropped the ball.

-If you found out you couldn't have kids, would you adopt?
First, I would have a party. Then, I would go to Pete's. Adoption would not be included in either of those steps.

-What woke you up this morning?
BOO-CAT! Lots of sniffies and paw-bats for breakfast. It is my most favorite way to wake up. :)

-Where are you?
MCCI.

-How was your weekend?
75%

-Did you kiss or hug anyone today?
BOO-CAT!

-When was the last time you cried?
I don't remember.

-Ever thrown up in public?
Yes. Not for a while, but my stomach does not react well to rich food which has caused some problems. Fortunately, I have been given this generic priloset type stuff. $5 a bottle with medical insurance. it really is helpful.

-What is on your mind RIGHT NOW?
OTG testing and creating a new replacement for protocol testing.

-Would you take a bullet for anyone?
Sure, why not.

-Where would you like to live?
Where I am living, in Mao-House!

-What kind of house would you like?
Where I am now is fine. Downtown, stray cats wandering around, pretty quiet.

-What do you want to be when you grow up?
Taller.

-Who is your number 1 on your top?
I don't use those top things. I put some businesses that I really like, but I keep away from personal friends as I don't want to rate them.

-How do you know this person?
See previous question.

-Who was the last person that left you a comment?
Model Citizen tattoo.

-Are you good friends with this person?
Yes, I am friends with the tattoo artist, but the account is actually for his business.

-How often do you log in to MySpace?
A couple of times a week, just to check up on events, upload cat picutres, and waste time with these things. :)

-Do you like candy necklaces?
I really don't have any feeling to them.

-What was the last thing you drank?
In terms of Alcohol, Jameson whiskey. In terms of liquid, coffee.

-Who do you miss?
People I am not aiming at.

-About how many people have you driven with?
Huh. Too many to know or care.

-What are you doing this weekend?
Lots of housework. Installing a new lock on one of my doors. Playing video games.

-How many times have you eaten sushi?
Very many. I really like Sushi.

-What do you want to do right now?
I would like to go home.

-Are you listening to music right now?
Nope, but I was just listening to the Gyuto Monks chants.

-What time is it now?
2:18pm

-Do you think anyone will repost this?
Perhaps.

Yes.

dress pants, button down shirt, tie, suspenders.

-Do you have a bad habit?
Nope.

-Eyes?
Brownish perhaps? I don't really know.

-Do you have bills?
Yes.

-Do you pay them?
Of course. I am pretty careful about that.

Realistic wish: Pay off mortgage early
Unrealistic wish: SUPERPOWERS!!!!!

Wasting time with a survey. Also, I have new cat pictures up.

When you're walking, do you stop to drink?
If I pass a bar, yes unless it is too expensive or a sports bar.

Have you ever kissed someone in a vehicle?
Yes.

Ever snuck out of your house?
I sneak everywhere if given have a chance. I'm a sneaky guy.
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/329956

What did you do today?
Work. Plays for Sure testing. Kind of boring.

Do you like someone right this second?
As I don't know what second is being referred to I can not answer.

Would you ever get a tattoo?
I have two and plan on getting more. I am thinking about either a passage from the Tao De Ching or a Kraftwerk one showing one of their robot icons that they displayed on their live version of "We are the Robots".

Are you a morning person or a night person?
Night. I don't get up very well. In fact, most days I get to work about 10:00 and that is if I force myself.

Do you snore?
Sometimes, I guess. Sometimes I drool in my sleep.

Are you hungry?
No, I'm fine thanks.

Are you a forgiving person?
Fairly so, yes I think.

Are you talking to anyone while doing this?
Nope, but I am running a test while I am doing it.

Do you want a relationship right now?
Not particularly.

What are you about to do?
Run some more tests.

If you could be a superhero, what would you want to do?
In terms of modus operandi or in terms of powers? My modus operandi would be somewhat more devious. I would do a lot of white collar, environmental, civil rights, etc. The crimes that are harder for law enforcement to get to. In terms of powers, I always liked the concept of a super human understanding of language. Human, computer, or otherwise. However, it would need to be paired with some sort of camoflauge and teleportation to get into places I need to. I would not mind some extra super jumping power either, just so I can hang out on lamp posts.

Done anything you regret so far in life?
Stupid stuff mostly. Like, "why did I say that. That was a really bad joke."

Are you listening to anything?
No, not at the moment.

Where are you right now?
At work.

Are you thinking of someone right now?
No, but I am thinking about going to Tai Chi class.

Who is the last person you talked to on the phone?
One of the vice presidents of the company.

Has anyone ever said you looked like a celebrity?
No, I don't think so.

Do you speak any other language?
Not really no. I would like to learn Japanese, but I just don't have the time or the resources.

Do you dress for style or comfort?
Both. A nice pair and a good pair of combat boots go a long way.

What's the craziest thing you've done?
Went into the Atlantic Ocean early spring at 8:00 at night for a Star Trek parody. It was very cold.

Favorite color(s)?
Black.

What are you looking forward to this summer?
Nothing in particular. Usually there is a picnic some time at one of the parks. That is usually fun.

If you could have anything in the world, what would you want?
Well, if it is "anything in the world", then that implies that it has to exist first, yes? I think I would not mind a mountain island chain somewhere that can grow stuff and that can survive the glaciers melting. Then again, I would not mind having some sort of international watch dog group with some teeth. Eh.

I love bad music. Apparently there were two Russian guys who also love it. So, much so that they created a piece featuring the stuff most people don't want to hear. They did a great job considering they kept the level of musicality at a certain level while simultainiously keeping it bad. I think their research was skewed a bit, but it is still good,....or bad. Actually is billed as most unwanted rather than bad which means it is not like Sam Chaplin. Check it out:

The Most Unwanted Song

And just in case you want to read a bit more about it, you can read a brief explanation here. Sufficed to say, I have downloaded this song and put it in my music library.

Thanks to everyone who helped put on the show last night for Chemical Flaw. I had a great time! I think I might have drank a bit too much, but it turned out O.K. Actually, I normally can't stay out that late so I am surprised I made it to the end of Chemical Flaw's set.
Oh and Happy Birthday Shaun! Did I spell that right? ;)
Also, I have uploaded more cat pictures of the stray around my house.
Finally, a video Darth_qonfused posted that has both cats and engineers. Awesome.

Yet another video I like. This one is a satire over-dub of CBC President Robert Rabinovitch talking in the House of Commons about locking out a whole bunch of union workers. These guys in Dayjob Orchestra decided to over dub. They also do a lot of work with Star Trek and other U.S. politicians.
