Hello all. First off, thanks so much for checking us out, and sticking by us through recent changes. Here is an update on Saravain.
Our newest CD was recorded this summer and soon thereafter our long-time singer and bass player Matt (now with Emilia) had decided to part ways with the band. We began a search for new members and about that time our good friends in Sorry for the Silence had decided to disband… no way were we about to do the same. We invited their bassist/vocalist Will to join the band so we could get back on our feet and re-think the CD. More recently, Will brought to our attention the musical stylings of ex-SFTS singer Nick. Nick and Will have brought a lot of new perspective to the band and it's been a great match for the three of us. We've decided that we couldn't have found some cooler dudes and we would love to have them be a part of Saravain. This is where we're at today.
We are set to go back to recording in December, and we hope to finally press our CD by the time Winter Tour rolls around. (Also note: our current songs are from the upcoming cd, but include our old singer). The recent events have forced us all to work harder as a group and individually; seeing things in a new and exciting way. We are EXTREMEMLY EXCITED for the future and we can't wait for everyone to hear the new and improved sound. We will continue to work hard and play for new people who will hopefully enjoy our new music as much as we do.
Again, thank you all for being incredible and showing support during these last few months. We're thrilled to be able to keep Saravain together and bring the rock once again (:
