Current mood:  contemplative
You can assume that I’ve grown to hate debating issues on the after mentioned forums... Housquake.com or Prince.org... but I still have opinions.

While I respect the news delivered to the Prince fan community which  Housequale.com provides and norm, ally I trust the news our friend J7 provides even more... I’m of a mind to actualy believe in this ’hip ’ situation.... ... the news reported on Housequale.com reported was right.  I believe he did in fact have hip surgery inspite the evidence surfacing now with his appearance with Sheile E’s family band... suggesting he may not have.

A friend of mine informed me of an option for hip surgery which is new..and more people are opting for if their of good health otherwise and optimum body weight.  So I did my research.  Prince of course is healthy..and he’s a slight MF so no weight issue there.  To quote from an article I provided the link to in full below

" Anterior Hip Replacement allows patients to immediately bend their hip freely and bear full weight when comfortable, resulting in a more rapid return to normal function. After surgery, patients are instructed to use their hip normally without cumbersome restrictions. In supervised therapy, patients go up and down stairs before their hospital release."

Anterior Hip Replacement

The hospital stay is only a couple of days maximum and FULL recovery can take place in as little as 2 weeks.

Well... it doesn’t take a brain surgeon (or hip surgeon in this case) to assume that Prince could have indeed used his hip normally after release from the hospital approximatelty three weeks ago... and ... well.. you get the rest. The Shiela E appearance is more than probable even if he did have the hip surgery... and he would not have been hobbling and could in fact have been fully recovered by then.  Three weeks is well with in the full recovery window.  Even normal activities would have been possible with in days.

Of course all this does is just cloud the issue even further even if he makes a statement.

Will we ever know for sure...?

My main point is that because of the nature of this surgery what has been reported from either primary source a lot of us rely on J7 and/ or Housequake.com... have EQUAL chances of being valid... equal chances of being wrong... and more so equal chances of being justified by what ever news they posted.

I just don’t want to see people taking un-informed snipes at any party on this issue.  Beleive what ever way you choose with out be-littleing any one.

As I mentioned.. J7 in my opinon is one of the most valued friends in the community.  But as I would with anyone I consider a friends... I can gracefully agree to dis-agree while waiting for the next bit of juicey info he has to drop on us.

And for Prince... what ever the case... get yo’ crazy azz in the studio and make some mo’ muzik and then take it on tour with that ’hip’.. new or old.

Kinda like when the weather man says there is a 50% chance of rain right? No way he can be wrong!

I must say I really am disappointed by the responses of some of the Houseqauke.com moderators concerning this issue. Trying to tear some one down in order to prove your own credibility... just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Those moderators are out of control. They totally break their own rules and get away with it. Sometimes I wonder if Aaron has any control over them or if he is just sitting back laughing and letting them do all his dirty work. J7 just reported what he was told to him by his sources which are usually reliable. They did not have to go after him like that. He hates his name being out there and I am sure they knew that, and so what if that web site is his? That is hardly a big a deal as them using that picture of Prince on the scooter to make their story seem true. I was going to say more than I did but I have taken them on in the past and have had to endure a certain mod's vehement denials and accusations and I just didn't have the energy this weekend. You showed amazing restraint. Thanks for speaking up.

I keep saying this. I was a former cna. if he had surgery , he would not be out this soon. There is the whole age factor. He is not as young as he used to be. A sugrery liek that take months of phyiscal rehab. I seemed to have no trouble walking. > He would not be out playing this soon.A surgery like that takes longer thatn 3 weeks.

Well... no disrespect... but a few things:

One we have no clue as to the extent of the surgery he would have required. None.

Second.... you're talking more so the traditional surgery. You said you 'used to be' a CNA. Medical advances do occur... and every where I researched... EVERYWHERE... said the same thing about the Anterior approach sometimes known as Minimal Evasive Hip Surgery. I read from medical reports and descriptions of the surgery to testimonials describing 2 and 3 week full recoveries. Few restrictions, normal movement, normal walking, bearing of full weight, etc is likely and possible directly after the hospital stay of 2-5 days. Little to no rehab after that... with full recovery in a few weeks.

Prince is about 50... which isn't 'old'... he is active.. he is healthy.. and no matter what pain he may have been under... it was not to the point where it hobbled him. He was still very much active and about to even suggest he would need hip surgery to begin with. ie Prince is /was in good heallth otherwise which would have made him a prime candidate for this procedure and made the expectancy of a fast and effortless recovery more likely. And since he has money... he could have gotten the best doctor available to perform the procedure.. that in itself would suggest optimum recovery time.

If he had gotten the traditional surgery.. then yes.. as every one speculated he would have still been out of commission right now. But do you really think a person like Prince would choose a conventional surgery when an option exist which could have reduced his down time from at least three months to virtually nil...?

Again.. no disrespect... but CNAs or even LPNs to RNs and sometimes even Doctors aren't always up on the latest medical advances. I have two medical conditions which require specialized knowledge and it is difficult for me to find skilled medical persons. One I've suffered through for years and several doctors and such mis diagnosed and mis treated... its called Lymphoedemia. Even when I've come across those who even knew of the condition.. how to treat it was not always known. Same thing applies to the current state of weight loss urgeries.. which I'm considering. Like hip replacement surgery.. most are familiar with the most traditional from of surgery which would require a couple of months of recovery. some are familiar with Laproscopic options which would reduce the recovery time to a few weeks. And fewer still are familiar with something like the Laproscopic Band which is little more than outpatient surgery.

This story turned out to be false.

Hosequake.com says their source lied to them.

But as you know... that wasn't the end of it.

Gee Housequake, I'm confused as well. However I pray to the Most High for his health and protection as I do daily and your. From first knowledge of this possible injury to him the force field that I thought he had brought me back to reality. I did like it but it reminded me to consistent in what you pray for. Regardless the love will never change.

Be blessed and consistent
