LA's underground purveyors return to the nightlife with a double event weekend. Friday night Droid presents a new parties series blak out..an intimate loft party with the LIGHTS OFF! Expect future sounds of techno and house until the wee hours from LA and Berlin's Finest.
On Sunday we enjoy the summer and sun and socal atmosphere with our first ever DROID BEACH PARTY.

Mark Schneider caught the electronic bug in '91 visiting Germany's first techno clubs. A year later he discovered that he was blessed with a rare DJ talent that secured gigs across Germany and then internationally. While playing huge events like love parade, Schneider maintained his grass roots and helped organize trend-setting events like Link, Pure Energy, Cubic Club, and later the inventive Planeten und Blumen club. He joined Container Distribution in 1996 and later founded Word and Sound, helping create opportunities and shape tastes. A producer with quality 12" releases under his belt, Marc is truly at his best behind the turntables, guiding crowds through kicking mixes of all things house and techno.
