**GG Exclusive** Hey, you guys! This would be my first ever blog for
globalgrind.com. Thanks so much for having me. This week has been a
little stressful for me with the album dropping but there’s also an
enormous sense of relief.
For the past 3 months, I channeled my
family drama, personal quarrels, and overall maturation process in the
new album. I honestly thought I would go through as much as I have, now
that I'm 21 years old. As oppose to the first album, which was crafted
for me by the producers, I wrote about 90% of this album and am SO
happy that the fans can finally get to see the real Brooke.
Fans have twittered me (

asking me if my relationship with my mom will ever be ok. To ALL my
fans, I honestly don’t know. I know the Bible tells you to respect both
your parents and I do to the fullest, but my mother has become a
different person and I felt the need to tell her that in my song “Dear
Mom.” Unfortunately, a phone call just doesn’t work sometimes. Here
is some of what the song says:

My
album release party is this Saturday so I’m gearing up for that but I’m
