Virgil at the Vinyl Collective has just announced that they will be giving away a pair of tickets to every date on The Gaslight Anthem’s upcoming tour with Murder By Death, The Loved Ones and Broadway Calls (on select dates), which starts next Tuesday. Here’s how it works:

   1. Purchase anything in the Vinyl Collective store by any of the bands on this tour. This includes releases by The Gaslight Anthem, Murder by Death, Loved Ones, Ninja Gun, Frank Turner, Broadway Calls, and/or the Measure SA. Either search for one of the artists in our store or follow this link which has releases by all the bands on this tour.
   2. Email Seabron (seabron@suburbanhomerecords.com) your Checkout Complete email and in the subject of that email list one of the cities and the date you would like to win a pair of tickets to (refer to the list below).
   3. Seabron each week will announce the winners. The first announcement will come Monday, September 7th. Seabron will email the winners letting them know and we will post the winners each week on the blog and message board.

So recording and mixing are officially DONE!!!! We had an amazing time at the Blasting Room, and couldn't be happier with the way things sound. Bill, Jason, and the rest of the guys worked really hard with us, and now we are all BFF's....actually time was split around 50/50 between music, and R. Kelly videos, but whatever. We got it done. We recorded 13 songs. Now we just need to pick the songs that aren't going on the record. Those songs will most likely be used for b-sides on our vinyl. Hopefully.
Also, we will be announcing a tour within the next few days, with an amazing band you're all stoked to see....

Hey everyone! We have finished pre-production!! Four days of sitting in a room and having Bill tear our songs apart, and make them way, way better. We now have 13 songs to choose from, and we're very happy with the selection.
So tracking starts today! Josh will soon enter a beautiful wood smelling room with Bill and Jason Livermore and begin drums.
So right now I'm watching Reno 911 and kinda waiting to play guitar... Stoked!

So we've been home from Europe for about two weeks now, and it was incredible. Thank you to all the new friends we made, and all the old friends that came out to say hello.
A few of you may be wondering why there are no upcoming shows listed on our page. Well, starting on Tuesday March 10th, we will be heading to Ft. Collins, Colorado, and into the Blasting Room!! There we will be recording our new album with producer Bill Stevenson. For those of you who aren't familiar, he drums for the Descendants and Only Crime, and  has made amazing records with bands like NOFX, Good Riddance, Rise Against, Comeback Kid, Suicide Machines, Descendants, A Wilhelm Scream, MxPx, Lagwagon, The Ataris, Black Flag, and tons more.
Obviously we're extremely excited. We have close to 20 songs, and we will be choosing the best of those to make our 2nd full length album, which will come out later this year.
We will try to give updates throughout this whole process......maybe.
