Hey All,

I know it's been a while...and hopefully you are wondering what has been going on with us...Well here is what happened...

There is no "us" anymore. After spending almost two years working with Lisa on this project, she has decided is not able to finish the project. I am deeply saddened and disappointed, but nonetheless, I wish her the best in whatever she is doing. I just wosh she would have told me sooner!

SO, I kind of had to start over. But I am very excited to be working with a new editor on the film. Our goal is to have it finished in time to make the Sundance Film Festival deadline in August...which might be kind of cool because Immi's new album will come out right around then as well. Who knows what could happen...

Anyway, thank you all again for your support and I am DYING to get this damn thing done!!!!

Hey All,

I can't believe its going to be 2009 soon! Have we all made our New Year's resolutions? Well I made a promise to myself and to you guys this year that I intend to keep...to get MTM finished! Unfortunately we have had some technical difficulties that have set us back a bit. Editing the feature has proven to be quite the time consumer. Lisa has done some wonderful work on the project...but I am very excited to bring another editor on board to really get this film done! Things always take way longer than you think when it comes to things like albums and films and things like that. Please don't forget about us and wish us luck in the New Year! I always say things happen for a reason, so I am thinking MTM will be done when its done at just the right time. Which hopefully will be as soon as humanly possible of course :)

I am just so grateful to all of you who are excited for the film and it really did hit me pretty hard that Lisa was not able to show you more this year. But I WILL finish this damn thing of it kills me. I say that with love of course. I am brining in a few new people to see this baby through so I am really happy about that! I may even be doing some more filming to make the story even more diverse and awesome. Hooray for new blood!

Hi Guys,

Oh man its been a while since I have blogged about anything. I guess I was waiting until I had something more to announce....But all I can say for now is these things take time. Honestly I have realized that I was being a bit ambitious when I thought we would have it ready for release by this summer. Editing and post production is such a lengthy process and if its going to be done right, its going to take some time. Now that I think about it - it took me almost two years to put together the story and get all of the filming done. So now I have to patiently wait for Lisa to work her magic in the editing studio. I know it will be worth the wait. I can promise you that! Then as soon as we have all that done we gotta hit up the festivals and see where we can go from there.

You know what though, I am starting to realize that we are not alone....a lot of the artists that we have been lucky enough to have involved in MTM...well it seems like its pretty common that works of art take longer than expected. Many of the albums we fans have been waiting for have taken a bit longer than expected. But we still love it anyway.... when we finally get it!

So long story short - thank you for being excited to finally see this damn movie! It means the world to us. I will let you know as soon as I know how MTM will be released!

ps - Did anyone see the documentary about the Dandy Wharhols called "DIG" ? That thing took 7 years to make!!!! So we aren't doing so bad, right? :)

Hi guys,

How are you all? Sorry things have been so quiet around here! Been keeping very busy. I just wanted to share the fun news that I got to go out with the Hotel Cafe Tour for a bit and it was fantastic. A photographer friend of mine has been working on putting together a documentary about the tour, and sure enough we met at one of Cary Brothers’ shows a while back and decided to work together a bit on it. Everything is still moving forward with MTM, but in the meantime I wanted to help out on this new brilliant idea for a music film. There were some awesome artists on the leg of the tour I did some filming for...



The Hotel Cafe has some truly talented and hilarious musicians in their community and I am so lucky to have gotten to be a part of that in some way. Here are some pics from the House of Blues soundcheck. I couldn’t get many good pics because I was running around the whole time, but at least you can get the idea :)











Not sure exactly how this piece will take shape, but its definitely in the works!

Hi Guys!!

While Lisa is still editing away (I know...its taking a while)...I have really gotten back into acting. I missed it so much while I was on tour and interviewing for MTM. I am so happy to be back doing what I love. Especially now that the writer's strike is over.

I am in a show this weekend! If you are in the LA area and want to come down to Hollywood for some outrageous comedy I would love to see you there! Here is all the info. If you are easily offended this might not be the show for you. This director makes sure to always go over the line...HA!!...
