Tom didn't like borrowing ...
[ Those who are always borrowing ... tend to be thoses that show the least Degree of RealGratitute from my experience ... They're sort of Vampirish ... ]
but Tom ... a few times borrowed a tool ...
he would call ... ask if he could get the tool at such a time ... and have it until such a time ... Usually borrowed in the morning and brought back later that day ... like clock work ... he pick it up and brought the tool back ...
Just that Consideration is amazing in itself ... RarelySeen
[ There are still a few tools out there for over a decade ... I have even seen the borrowers a few times thru the years... Usually some sort of excuse is given and a promise to get it back ... then nothing happens. ]
Here is where Tom showed the Higher Degree of Gratitude ...
The tool would come back in better condition that it left the shop ...
The tool would be Shining from his cleaning ...
and the tool box would also be cleaned ...
One time the tool left the shop with a NickSlice in the electric cord ...
Came back with a new cord ...
I told Tom ... he didn't have to do that ...
he said ... " Yes I did ... I Understand what it takes to earn money ... buy a tool ... store and maintain a tool ... I'm ThankFul for being able just to use it ...
