ARE YOU THE FACE OF 2007??

Carlisle girls will be given the chance to launch a glamorous career as a model in the upcoming Walkabout Beach Babes competition. The competition, which is open to all girls over the age of 18, will take place at Walkabout, Carlisle on Friday 9th November 2007. Entry into the competition is free, and the overall Beach Babes 2007 winner will win an amazing 22-day Southern Escape trip for two to Africa courtesy of Africa Travel Co and Global Village, a photoshoot in Front magazine, the chance to sign for a top London model agency and the opportunity to be the face of Walkabout. The first runner up will win an 11-day African safari trip for her and a friend, and the girl who comes third will get a week long holiday for two to Turkey. 

An Australian bar, Walkabout organises the Beach Babes competitions to help local revellers capture the awesome spirit of Australia found on the sun-drenched beaches down-under. While you're soaking up the Beach Babes vibe and are in the party spirit, head to the bar for a refreshing Foster's Twist.

Entering Walkabout Beach Babes 2007 is easy as girls just have to go down to the bar and ask for an application form, or download one from www.walkabout.eu.com. On the night, each girl will have the stage as she dances to her favourite track in front of the judges and an adoring crowd in a bid to prove she has the body and personality of a true beach babe.  The two girls with the most votes will win a place in the regional finals, a bottle of bubbly and flowers. 

If successful in the Regional Final, the girls will win a place in the Walkabout Beach Babes 2007 Grand Final.

Although men will not be allowed to enter the model search competition, they will certainly be allowed to watch and show their encouragement for the wannabee models! Entrance to the venue is also free!
