If you are an independent artist looking for airplay for your music then here is your opportunity to get heard. The "Equilibrium Radioshow" is now accepting submissions for our "Best Independent Artists of 2006" program. We are devoting a whole radio show to independent, underground and quality artists and we want to hear from you.
Here are the rules:
1. Go to myspace.com/equilibriumradio and add us as a friend. Once you have added us, send us a message titled "Submissions"so that we know you have music to submit for the show. You will be contacted back with instructions on how to submit your music, and what e-mail address to send it to. (People who add us to their Top Friends list will get preference, so let us know if we are on your top list!!)
2. Make sure your music is RADIO EDITED! I'm done with re-editing other peoples songs. If it has profanity of ANY kind, (Hell, Damn, Ass even...) I can't play it. My P.D. is not having it. Clean it up and submit it to us.
3. Be Creative - While we want everyone to participate however we really don't wanna hear another record about how many Kilos you push, who you about ta murder, what size spinnas you got, how your grill shines or the rest of that wack BET bullshit. It doesn't have to be knapsack music either, we are just asking that whatever you submit be good. Again, I'm not trying to tell anyone how to sound with their music. Feel free to listen to our show to see the kinda stuff we play.
4. ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE IN NO LATER THAN DEC 11th!! Make sure to include your contact information and myspace page info as we will send out a list of which songs that made the show, and when the airdate will be. If you have a website or anything that you want listeners to know include that too.
5. Start spreading the word and letting everyone know.
Most importantly, tell all your people to listen to the show. It's called "Tha Equilibrium Radioshow" with your hosts Kwame Vear, Nee-Nee, Ms. De Laleu and Priest Forever.
We can be heard every Wed from 4pm to 6pm on WHCR 90.3 FM in New York City. If you are not in the NYC area, You can always listen over the internet by going to either
www.whcr.org or going to myspace.com/whcr
I get people who run up on me talking about how they wanna get their music heard but they dont ever follow through. If you are really serious about getting exposure here is your chance to do it. Get at us
