Alrighty, so the prom issue settled. I'm just gonna search for a nice dress to wear and not go too all-out.

In any case, I need more opinions.

For AnimeIowa this year, I'm debating on if I should go as Kurama or not...I have the wig, but I seriously canNOT sew. So I figure since next year I will be taking Textiles in school, I'll learn how to do that and then be Kurama next year for sure because by then I'll know what I'm doing.

This year, though, I'm just gonna buy a cosplay outfit from eBay or something. Now I just have to decide which character...
So far, I've got 5 to choose from, all of which I can change my smaller wig to fit for, so I had to stick with characters with short-ish hair. Now, just tell me which you think would be coolest:

Wahhhh..I used to love snow until this week came around. And here Spring was already a teasin' us and everything. I guess it means no school til' Monday, but then I'm stuck home with the mother all day, which, though I love the woman, she's overbearing to be with at long periods of time.

I really have this awesome surge of needing to draw billions of things, I've gotten a few things out of my system, but it's still begging for more. Quite the dilemma.

As for the college issue, it's all sorted out for the moment. I talked with a REALLY good artist named Messa that I met at AnimeIowa last year for advice on it, and she suggested going to the college she's attending right now, which is the Minneapolis college of art and design up in Minnesota. And that's not too far away, really. She basically told me just to take anything art I can and I'll learn a ton. Plus, they have a comic major program, so I'm excited! I'm just worried about the cost. >.>; Oh well...

Uh..I'm out of things to rant about. I just needed to blog for some odd reason.

I know it's kinda early, but I'm starting to look at colleges. At first, I planned on either going to ISU for art of some sort or the Art Institute of Chicago, but neither has what I want to do. And what I want to do can be found, actually...but only in Japan. In fact, the only place that has a 4-year program for 'manga' is Kyoto Seika University. And they are really picky..You have to be able to pretty much perfectly speak Japanese before they even accept you, and you have to write an essay in kanji. Guh, I barely know any Japanese besides some random words and a couple of greetings! >.<; And the cost is like.. 567,600 yen. Whatever the hell that means. -_-; Either way, I'm pretty sure that's unaffordable for me. And I KNOW my parents would never let me go right off to Japan to study. Even though it's my dream...I'm just really scared about all of this.

Seriously..I don't want to do anything else with my life other than make manga, but this is really beginning to seem hopeless...I have no idea what the crap I'm supposed to do..

Well, Prom theme is "Around the World".  I've never been to prom before, and I'm being forced to go, even though I have no/will have no date for it.  But I'm planning on going in Japanese style, and if by some miracle I go with someone else, it'd be cool if they went man Japanese style. Or like a samurai!. xD

I think I may save up to get a simple and pretty yukata to wear. I won't do the white face paint, but I dunno. T.T
