Description: The Pachyderms of Greater Baton Rouge will be hosting an informational
retreat Thursday evening, August 17th at the Jones Creek Regional
Library, beginning at 6:30pm. James Quinn, Executive Director of The
Republican Party of Louisiana, will speak about Grassroots
involvement during this campaign season. Mr. Quinn will let us know
about what we can look forward to from the State Party and what we,
as concerned citizens can do to help the State Party.
One of the original goals of The Pachyderms of Greater Baton Rouge,
was to create a place were concerned citizens could come get
information and get involved. With that founding goal in mind we are
pleased to announce that not only will we have Mr. Quinn speak, but
we will also have representatives from most of the Statewide, and
Local Republican Campaigns in attendance. These representatives will
each have a table set up with information about their particular
candidate, along with bumper stickers, and yard signs. The idea
behind this Retreat is to get you, the concerned conservative citizen
in a room with the people that can give you all the information you
would need to make an informed decision.
The following campaigns will have representatives available to answer
any of your questions:
Jay Dardenne - Secretary of State
Mike Francis - Secretary of State
James David Cain - Insurance Commissioner
Joe Lavigne - U.S. Congressman District 2
Craig Romero - U.S. Congressman District 3
Tom Gibbs - Family Court
Cathleen Callahan - Family Court
Harold Williams - School Board District 2
All other Republican Candidates are welcome to come or send
representatives. Please contact S. Cullen Saucier at (225)270-0635
for further information.
The address for the Jones Creek Library is as follows, 6222 Jones
Creek Road, for directions call (225)756-1140.
