"Hey, Rene did you see the new kid in Mr. Frost class today?"

"Yeah, isn't he a hott one? Did you get his name?" i said

"no, actually i didn't sorry. i wasn't paying attention to that." mel said shrugging her shoulders

"Well all I can remember is he smells like a garden of roses." I said dreaming

Just then the first bell rang.

"Well see ya after class!" I said running off

"Ya, you too."

First day of school and we got homework, but the best part is i have six classes with the new kid. Heres how my day went.

1st Period: Ms. Cramer, English. She gave us assigned seats and our books. She went over the rules of the class, while she was doing that i was day dreaming about the new kid. Which i sat across from.

2nd Period: Mr. Taylor, History He went over the rules for his class. Boring! He handed out our books, our book is so big. But anyways the new kid is not in my class, bummer!

3rd Period: Mr. Weber We got our books, he told us the rules. Bingo new kid is in my class. And we get to be lab partners. I'm going to love this class!

4th Period: Mrs. Whetstone Spanish. We got our books, and our new names. Mines Catalina, cool huh? She said she's going to give us assigned seats. Yay, what fun. No sign of the new kid.

5th Period a) Lunch- new kid my table on the end.

5th Period b+c) Study hall: Mrs. Dodge. we get to pick our own seats, if we don't talk. Mel and i are sitting together in the back, new kid is in the middle near the windows.

6th Period: Mr. Weber Study hall. he gave us assigned seats. mel sits behind me, the new kid sits two places to the left of me.

7th Period: Mr.Stevens Health. He gave us our books and assigned us seats. he's a new teacher so he let us pick our own seats. Mel and I are in the back row, while the new kid is in the row in front of us.

8th Period: Mr. Wimmers Band. We got our chairs out, but we didn't have to play. So Mel and I talked all period. The new kid is in the band too!

Well thats how my day went. I'm going to like high-school this year.

The buses were late as usalle, so Mel and I decided to call her mom to pick us up.

"Hey mom could you pick Rene and I up the buses are late again and you know I have piano lessons at 3:30. Thanks mom bye love you !" Mel said happily

"She's coming."

"Great, lets wait out on the bench where it's warm!" I said leadin the way

"That's a great idea." Mel said followed me

As we waited for Mel's mom, the new kid came up to us.

"Hey, do you guys need a ride home?" he said shyly

"No, thanks Mel's mom's picking us up, she should be here any minute thanks anyways!" I said scared but calmly

"By the way my names Quinn!" he said

"I'm Rene and this is my best friend Melanie ( Mel for short)!" I said

"Hey, there's my mom well it was nice to meet you Quinn, but we have to get going!" she said getting up

"Yeah, nice to meet you too ladies later!" he said waving

"So did you girls have fun at school today?" Melanie's mom asked when we got in the car

"Yeah, and guess what? There is this new kid in our class that is so hott!" I said really fast

"Oh really now." Mel's mom said

"Mom, can Rene spend the night?" Mel asked

"It's fine with me, if it's ok with her parents, but she has to call her parents and check to make sure!" Mel's mom said smiling

"Great I'll call and ask!" I said getting out my cell phone

"Mom is it alright if I spend the night at Mel's house tonight? I asked politly

"Thanks mom your the greatest!" I said happily

"She said yes!" I said smiling

"Yeah we are going to have so much fun!" Mel said wiggling

I went to piano lessons with Mel, it was so boring. Then we went to my house to get some clother for school tomorrow. Mel helped me pick them out, I want to look good for the new kid Quinn!

We got up for school in a big hurry! Mel helped me with my make up and I helped her. We wanted to look our best for Quinn. We got to school early. We walked around the building looking for the new kid. Unfortunitly, we didn't see him. So we went to our home room and sat in their for what felt like forever. I was hoping to see the new kid in home room, but he wasn't their either. Mel says he's probally sick today, I agree with her.

"Now class tomorrow there will be a test over chapter two and three. So I suggest you study hard and get good grades." Mrs. Cramer said

As usuall I wasn't listening to what she was saying. I was daydreaming, till Mel pinched me on the shoulder.

"Look who just walked in? He's late to class, and all Mrs. Cramer can do is babble on about our test." Mel said smirking

"I didn't even notice I was daydreaming again." I said looking out the window

"As usuall, that's all you ever do is daydream and look out the window." Mel said turning around

Just then the bell rang. Quinn stopped me on the way to my locker.

"Hey, I was wondering if I could borrow your notes, since I got to class late? My brother wouldn't get up this morning for some odd reason." he said

"Yeah sure, you can borrow my notes don't mind the margins though!" I said kinda hoping he would look

"Hey thanks a bunch, I'll return them tomorrow." he said leaving

"Ok sure." I said waving

I went to class, and told Mel what just happened. She told me that was a sign that he wanted to do something more than just to use my English notes. I don't think so, but you never know. We will just have to find out, I guess. History class is so boring today, like every other day. We are learning about the civil war. Maybe mel can help me understand this and not make it so boring for me.

"Here are your notes back; I've noticed the margins! You like me that much? Wow I don't think i ever had a girl like me that much! I find that attractive. Well see you in class." he said leaving for his locker

"Thanks I think, talk to you later, bye." I said getting to class
