"American Christmas" CD Release Party Review - Tis' the Season to be Singing!

Tis' the season to be singing! The CD Release party, on Friday November 14th, was filled with Christmas cheer. Held at The Factory, in West Hollywood, "We're Dreaming of an Idol Christmas" was brought to you by Chenoa/EMI Records and JJ Entertainment. The bells in Hollywood were ringing for this star-studded, Red Carpet Event!

"American Christmas" is the name of the new Album. It features new music from previous American Idol Finalists. The album presents 13 songs that bring on that holiday spirit. Some of the familiar tunes that you can expect to hear on the CD, include, Have Yourself A Very Merry Christmas, Silent Night, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, and many more.

Throughout the evening, music was played and everyone enjoyed the bar area, anticipating the performance that was soon to come. When it finally came, the crowd cheered on and danced to their favorite holiday tunes. I was kind of bummed that they did not sing more songs, but thoroughly enjoyed the songs that they did perform.

Jodi Jackson of JJ Entertainment said, "This is one event you will not want to miss, so much talent – under one roof, it promises to be a memorable night". It definitely was!

Singing songs from the album were Alexis Stone Lopez, Amy Davis and Nikki Mckibbin. These girls appeared in various seasons of American Idol and definitely rocked the house! Songs that they sang included, Winter Wonderland, First Noel and All Alone with the Christmas Lights.

Nikki McKibbin is hot right now! She is back in L.A. doing a follow up for both of the shows, Celebrity Rehab, and, Sober Living. Wheno being interviewed she said, "I used to live in a fog, and now that fog is gone". She has been sober for 5 months now. Nikki is a very strong and creative person, and she is back and in full swing

Alexis Stone Lopez has been in studios recording since she was 14 years old. Originally from Modesto, CA, Alexis decided to try out for the first season of American Idol. She made it all the way to the final Wildcard competition, before leaving the show. She really has come a long way.

Amy Davis appeared on Season 7 of American Idol. Originally from IN, Amy graduated from Perdue University with a BS in Horticulture. She is a singer as well as a professional model. She has performed with many groups, including the Amy Davis Trio, and also Echoes of Pompeii, a Pink Floyd tribute band.

The event itself was very welcoming. The red Carpet was filled with holiday cheer. Some of the familiar faces that attended included: Kevin Covais (Actor, American Idol), Nate Davis (Recording Artist), Mark Harris (Actor), Vincent Atwood, Austin Anderson (Recording Artist, Radio Disney), Mary Cary, James Black (Actor, The Starter Wife), Nikki McKibbin (American Idol), Shoshana Bean (Elphaba in Wicked, Recording Artist), Bai Ling (Actress), Paul Bradley (Recording Artist), KNS (Recording Artist), Sherry Petigo (Recording Artist), Alexis Stone Lopez (American Idol), Amy Davis (American Idol), Comma D (Recording Artist).
