Since the birth of the NOOMA myspace page, we've had a wonderful time getting to know all of you and sharing the latest updates about our films with you. As we're nearing the release of NOOMA 019, we'd like to announce that the premiere for this film will be hosted on our new Facebook Group. Because of your loyalty, you're finding out first and we hope you'll join us on February 15th for the exclusive online premiere.

The premiere will be available for 48 hours beginning at 12 PM EST, February 15th 18th and will also be available for presale beginning that day at NOOMA.com. Pre-sales have previously been available via phone, however, on February 15th 18th, NOOMA 019 will be the first film available for pre-sale via our site.

The ONE Campaign is partnering with NOOMA for their ONE Sabbath event later this month. The focus of ONE Sabbath is a weekend dedicated to the ONE Campaign and its mission - November 23 through 25 - including materials specifically for churches and church groups. So, you're probably wondering when we're going to post the next NOOMA clip on the NOOMA Player – the clip for NOOMA 018 | Name. Well, we are working on it, and will try to have it up in the next couple of weeks. Definitely plan on another online premiere at the end of October – for 48 hours, we'll make the entire film available here on the NOOMA Player, the day that it releases from our warehouse. More information to come soon.

In the meantime, we've been working on a couple of other projects we thought you should know about:

NOOMA 019 | Open. This film releases early next year (probably February) and deals with prayer. Check out some pictures of the filming in the last blog post. We're finishing up the master and are working on the packaging - the entire process to create a film takes at least six months. We're looking forward to sharing it with you.

Everything is Spiritual DVD. We're going to be launching the official www.EverythingisSpiritual.com site on Tuesday, complete with the option to pre-order the DVD. You can visit now to watch a preview and sign up for email updates. Otherwise, check out the podcast we launched on iTunes. We're adding a new clip to the podcast every week until we release the DVD on November 5.

Finally, we just want to express our thanks for all of your support. There are about 10 people on staff here at NOOMA, and while we work hard to get these projects finished and ready for you all, we appreciate your patience and support. We wouldn't be here without you.

...and we've been pretty busy here at NOOMA. We've hosted a few events, filmed new NOOMAs and finished up NOOMA 018 | Name, which will be released in October.

You may have noticed that NOOMA is a nonprofit organization – all of the generous support we receive helps us to continue making NOOMAs. If you like what we're doing, or have questions about NOOMA's nonprofit status, click on Support NOOMA, a new link we added to our MySpace profile under NOOMA Links.

And it won't be long (October 1) and NOOMA will be available in over 75 Borders Books & Music stores throughout the US. Click here for a complete list and a map – find out if one is near you.

We just filmed NOOMAs 019 and 020 with Rob Bell earlier this summer. The filming took place in Grand Rapids, Michigan – one shoot required re-creating a car crash scene, complete with wrecked cars, shattered glass and a water truck continuously wetting the pavement. Thanks to everyone who made it out to the Prince Charles Cinema in London on June 21 – it was a great event with a great crowd. We showed NOOMA016 | Store, had an interesting Q&A session with Rob Bell and René DeHaan-Canetti, our executive director and then had the world premiere of NOOMA 017 | Today.


It's always encouraging to see a full cinema, but the highlight for us is the questions – we answered questions about everything from how NOOMA got started to the differences between Christianity and Buddhism (that particular question, by the way, received a moving answer from Rob about the power of grace).
