Wow, it's been awhile since I really updated anything on my Myspace account. I figure this is as good as anything to post.  So Becca and I have now booked our honeymoon.  We are going to be staying at the Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa @ Waikiki Beach, Oahu. We'll be there from July 14th - July 23rd. Can't wait to go. :) This is our hotel:

We've also booked our photographer and we'll be meeting with a potential Officiant this Tuesday.  Hopefully, we'll decide on him and get this task out of the way.  We are trying to book our D.J. sometime in the next week or two.  Since, we aren't having a videographer, the only other major task left for the wedding would be to find a florist.  Then it's just the little things left like invitations, favors, things like that, etc...But that's Becca's department :P

Less than 8 months to go... :P Woohoo!

Wow! It's been awhile since I posted a blog on MySpace.

So anyways...Just bought two tickets for the first round of the MLB playoff tickets to see the Angels on either Oct. 3rd, 4th, or 7th (depending on how the final standings finish).  It'll either be against the N.Y. Yankees or the Boston Red Sox. Can't Wait. In all this time, I've never been to a playoff game in any sport. Hopefully its as crazy as possible! Becca and I will have some fun here. :P

Also, we're gonna see the KIISFM Homecoming concert at the Honda Center on October 27th that will be headlined by Gwen Stefani, with performances also by Fabolous, Nicole Scherzinger, Lloyd, Sean Kingston, Timbaland, and One Republic. Should be fun!

Humeur actuelle :  content de soi

Finally finished reading all seven books in the series. I won't say anything because I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who hasn't read it yet. Send me an IM if anyone wants to talk about it. It will be really interesting to see how it gets put into movie form.  Now I need to find something else to read, but nothing looks interesting at the moment.  Oh well I'll just go back to being a TV junkie, less use of the imagination. Brain not required!

No TV and No Beer make Roger go something something.......

Friday:
Becca and I went to the Angels vs. Texas Rangers game @ Angels Stadium. It was fun. It boiled down to the bottom of the 9th inning when the Angels were tied 1-1, and scored the winning run.  K-Rod got the win.  It was a little boring cuz it was a pitchers duel and when you go to live events you like to see homeruns and crazy offense. But oh well, it was still good that they won. We had fun. Go ralley monkey! Then, afterwards, they did their usual Friday fireworks.

Saturday:
Bought more stuff for the apartment, a coffee table (finally), and an end table. All that's left is to get a book shelf/case, dvd rack, and a vaccumm cleaner and we'll be all set!

Sunday:
We finally saw Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix. That movie was really good! Two thumbs up to anyone who wants to see it.  It followed the book alot but it really ignored alot of key parts of the book that I thought were relevant. But I guess if you read the book then you already know what they are and no big deal. And if you never read it then you won't know what you missed, so again, no big deal. LOL. I don't want to say anything to avoid spoiling anyone. But the CG was awesome, Kreacher and Grawp were really rendered well, they looked really realistic.  Harry's acting was alot better and the wand battle scene was awesome.

Monday Morning:
Traffic sucked this morning headed to work.  I spent nearly 30 min in traffic to go a little more than a mile. There was a six-seven car sigalert accident. (Blocked two lanes)  After about an hour the backup (5-8mph) (according to sigalert.com) was more than 10 miles back.  What a way to start the week. lol.

As of yesterday, we're finally all moved out of the Encino apartment and moved into the Canoga Park one.  Now I get to spend this week unpacking. :P Oh the fun. hehehe. The apartment should look good though once everything is settled down and the furniture is all in place. :)

My previous apartment has a $770 security deposit on us and wanna bet that we won't be seeing any of it back. LOL.  I'm just glad to be out of that place. The parking sucked, management sucked, airconditioner sucked, and it was just good to leave. Time to get back to work....

Tommorrow will be the last day at my old apartment in Encino.  As of Sunday, I'll be living at the new place.  I'll be there all alone until Becca gets the chance to move in also in about two weeks.  I guess I'll just spend my time cleaning and unpacking and shopping.  I need to buy food. My fridge has literally been empty for like 2 weeks because I was hesitant to spend on any new food that we'd just have to throw away.  It will be fun living with Becca 24/7 :) Let the good times roll.

Also, for those of you who don't know yet, we have decided on a wedding location. It will be at:

Moutain Meadows Golf Course
Pomona, CA

So these are the movies Becca and I saw in 2007 so far.  I was pretty happy with these movies, none of them really disappointed me, so I was glad about that.

These are my thoughts about the movies, what do you think?

The Messengers - 02/02/2007 (B)
The movie was good, with interesting twists, however not that unique.

Hannibal Rising - 02/09/2007 (A-)
Even though it was bashed by the critics, it was great because it showed us the origins of Hannibal.

The Number 23 - 02/23/2007 (B)
Jim Carrey is great in dramatic rules.  He needs to keep making these.

300 - 03/09/2007 (A+)
So far this is the best movie of 2007 in my opinion. We'll see if it stays that way.

TMNT - 03/23/2007 (C+)
The CG was awesome, however it lacks in its plot.

The Reaping - 04/05/2007 (B+)
Interesting story line plot. Very unique with an interesting climax.

Fracture - 04/20/2007 (B+)
Another great Anthony Hopkins performance that reminded me so much of Hannibal's psychotic thinking.

Spider-Man 3 - 05/04/2007 (A-)
An excellent ending to the trilogy.  They really should have ended it here, but no, we get 3 more Spider-Man movies.

Shrek the Third - 05/18/2007 (B+)
It was funny and the CG was just as good. However, I still thought Shrek 2 was the best of the trilogy.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - 05/25/2007 (B+)
It was a good movie, answering many of the questions of the first two movie, but a little on the long side.

Knocked Up - 06/01/2007 (A)
This movie was excellent. Extremely funny and 1,000 times better than 40 Year Old Virgin.

The following movies are the movies that I hope to see this year still. I can't wait!:
Ocean's Thirteen - 06/08/2007
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - 07/11/2007
The Simpsons Movie - 07/27/2007
The Bourne Ultimatum - 08/03/2007
Halloween - 08/31/2007
Resident Evil: Extinction - 09/21/2007
Saw IV - 10/26/2007
American Gangster - 11/02/2007
Beowulf - 11/16/2007

I just bought tickets for the L.A. Angels vs. Texas Rangers game on Friday, July 13th.  Should be a fun game, especially since its a division game.  Can't wait. Plus, they should have fireworks and such after the game. We are sitting in section F133, so shouldn't be too far.

I want to find tickets to the Red Sox vs. Angels game but its sold out, so it's gonna be eBay for me if I want tickets.

So today Becca and I put down a security deposit, and we're gonna move to a new apartment together.  We're pretty much staying in the San Fernando Valley, but it will be closer to my work and CSUN.  Finally, becca and I will be moving in together. I'm really excited!
