Humeur actuelle :  bienheureux

I look forward to having a professional relationship with all of you. My industry name is HottShotz; If I wanted you to know my government name, I would've never come up with "HottShotz" :)

If you're curious to know what I look like, I strongly encourage you to book a shoot and come to the studio.

If you're interested in things like my age/where I'm from/things I do for fun, etc then you are contacting me for the wrong reasons. I'm here to do a job. I have a personal page for friends and family only. If you are a friend, you already have the link to this profile. Please do not send any personal messages/comments to this profile even if you know me or "think" you know me personally.

Looking forward to shooting you guys :)

We work with adults who are 18+ so everyone will be treated as such. Whether we are shooting in a studio or on location, everyone is responsible for getting themselves to and from the designated shooting area at their own expense. The only person responsible for "your" transportation cost, room/board is "you".
HottShotz is not a client, agency, or anything of the sort. We do not offer jobs of any kind to models. HottShotz is only here to service people who want or need photography services. The only thing you can get out of HottShotz is a  "professional photoshoot". We will produce a wonderfully lit studio or location shoot staffed with the necessary professionals. (i.e. Make-up artist, Hair stylist, Wardrobe Stylist, Assistant). These services are not free!
I am just a photographer people...
I'm not a make-up artist, so no, a make-up artist is not included...
I'm not a hair stylist, so no, a hair stylist is not included...
I'm not a wardrobe stylist, so no, a wardrobe stylist is not included...
I'm not a photo-wizard, so no, retouching is not included...

If you need a MUA, one can be provided at a cost to you.
If you need a hair stylist, one can be provided at a cost to you.
If you need a wardrobe stylist, one can be provided at a cost to you.
If you need retouching, that can be provided at a cost to you.

Everything listed above are key elements that will enhance your images. Be prepared to invest in the production so that we can give you the best possible images. If you're missing any of the above elements, having the knowledge/resources/ability to do it yourself will reduce your expenses. If you cannot produce any of these services mentioned "yourself" and are relying on HottShotz to provide any of the services listed above, please be prepared to pay for it.
Too much time, effort, and physical labor goes into production for a "quality" photoshoot to consider TFP shoots, so unfortunately TFP shoots are not offered by HottShotz Photography.
Thanks,
HottShotz

Escorts of any kind (male or female) are more than welcome to drive you to and from the shoot.

Escorts of any kind (male or female) are also more than welcome to carry your bags to and from the shoot.

Anything you (the model) and the escort participate in outside of my designated shooting are... I have no control over. Once you (the model) and your escort cross over into HottShotz territory... I have 100% control over who may enter (without notice or explanation).

My policy is... No escorts allowed in the shooting area.

If there is any problem whatsoever with my policy, please talk it over with your escort. It's non-negotiable with me. The shooting area is reserved for the photographer and the model. This helps directs the model's attention solely on the photographer without any distractions and vice versa. Creates a good vibe which helps for a more successful photoshoot.

Thanks for reading :)

HottShotz will not tolerate:

Divas

Rude people

People with amnesia (lol)

People who do not respond to messages in a timely fashion

People who have no class

People who have no business etiquette

People who do not respect the business

If you possess any of those traits, we ask that you first work on yourself before contacting HottShotz Photography. Here, we have standards.

In this industry, there are photographers, professional models, aspiring models, make-up artists, hair stylists, and wardrobe stylists, just to name a few. Each professional should know "what" the other professional does, and "why" they do it. It's not imperative that you know "how" they do it, just be informed as to "what" they're doing and "why" they're doing it.

This blog is geared more towards the "aspiring models" because unfortunately, there are alot of aspiring models out there who think modeling is simply about taking off your clothes and posing for a "GWC" (Guy with a camera). That guy with a camera is just a... well... "Guy with a camera". You want to work with professional photographers; they're more knowledgable and are certainly more credible. They take pride in their work and guarantee you quality shots no matter what. Do your homework. That means look through the photographers port and look for the following: Quality lighting, proper exposure, great composition, quality models w/good skin, great facial expressions/body language/poses, quality hair styles, quality make-up, quality wardrobe.

If their port lacks those things, then more than likely your pictures will lack those things if you shoot with that particular photographer. If their port possesses those traits then more than likely your pictures will possess those same traits and more. That's what you should look for when searching for a photographer or when a photographer scouts you. It's ok to decline offers. Not all offers are worth it. Be professional and respond even if you are "not" interested. Simply say, "Thank you for the offer, unfortunately I'm not interested". Being a model means that you also have to be a business woman. Don't be so quick to pass on the responsibility to a manager or an agent. Be informed, make the right decisions, gain credibility on your own, and become a better model.

What makes an acceptable image?

Quality lighting

Proper exposure

Great composition

Quality hair style

Quaility make-up

Quality wardrobe

Good skin

Good facial expressions/body language/poses
