I'm opening a new boutique in Union City! My good friend Rean is an artist who works in denim. Come thru and see what Rean can do with a few scraps (you will be amazed)! Any of you who know me, know I carry a Denim tote that most of you have asked about. Well this is the artist I'm launching the boutique with and she has mad skills! This isn't the actual launch, we just want to meet our neighbors and friends as we start this journey. The plan is to have an artisitc denim studio that offers custom one of a kind denim goods, art, and accessories. We also plan on offering classes and parties. We've got a lot of work to do and equipment to buy (sewing machines, textile printers, etc. hey if anyone want's to make a donation please HOLLA). So the boutique itself will be a work in progress. Come check us out this weekend today 10:00 - 9:00pm and tomorrow 2:00pm - 9:00pm) @ 5037 Union St. Union City, GA (right next door to city hall and across the street from the post office, beside the corner thrift store) T P.S. Guys, she also does custom jeans!!!

Hey all, I finally finished converting my site over to a blog site and it's been running smoothly for about a month now. I'll still post some news and updates here, but the bulk of my posts will be at TuereOnline.Com. Right now most of my posts have been hair related, since I get a lot of questions about my hair (yessss, the mysterious secrets of my hair-universe have been revealed!!! I know you can hardly stand to sit here another minute and read this for your excitement to get over there and find out the truth about... MY HAIR (big dramatic symphonic swell)). ANYway, I'll also be posting the latest tracks and colabs as well as works in progress, stuff that I really can't post here because I only have space for 5 tracks. So there you have it. Stop by and tell me what you think! http://www.tuereonline.comCiao, T

Well, I got a 5th track from the bodog profile and decided to fill it with something a little different. 'Have this Dance' is simply vocals, drums, and percussion, but has a pop feel. I had fun recording layer after layer just to see what would happen and this is it, raw and uncut. Tell me what you think! Also, and in other news, My site is DOWN (www.tuereonline.com that is). I was in the process of converting it to a blog site (and it was looking goooooooooood) when I decided to do a test run of one of the third party pluggins I had installed. (why, third-party-pluggin, WHY!?!?!) What started as a test send to myself turned into a literal nightmare as my site crashed and burned while 700 unsuspecting friends and acquaintances each received up to 700 of the same message . If you were among the affected you have my sincerest apologies. So hopefully my site will be back up in a week or two. Other than that, listen to the track, tell me what you think, if you're a movie producer or an ad agent lets see what we can work out to get this little ditty in your next big project (hey, you never know till you put it out there).

We had so much fun last Tuesday night I just had to talk about it.
I had the wonderfully good fortune to participate in the Eklectic Soul Kitchen Live Experience hosted by VINX and am all the better for it.
I got to share the stage with a group of artists with whom I've never performed, and, before attending the Soul Kitchen Songwriters Retreat (also a VINX inspired happening) had never met, with one very interesting exception...
... most of them I had seen on myspace (ok, not literally seen, I had seen their profiles, ok.) The whole process has been sooooo extremely cool it makes me giddy!
You MUST take the time and peruse each of these artists profiles and wait with baited breath until the next time such immense quantities of concentrated creativity and comradary converge on one stage again...
Thanks for bringing us together Vinx :-)

And, of course Asa beautifully captured the vibe of the evening.

Ok, so I haven't really been bloggin.
But at the request of one of my friends, I guess I'll be alittle more consistant with this.
So, what's up with me? I'm constantly working on new stuff as I get tracks from my crew, and still in the process of finishing up the full album. I've just started rehearsing with a band to do some live sets some time in the near future.
That's it for now. More next week. :-)

I've been on MySpace for a minute now, and I'm finding the most valuable aspect of this vast network is the ability for artists with like tastes to find you (or me, in this instance) and start working on something together.
I've got several friends I'm colaborating with and it's been a blast. Producers and DJ's send me tracks and I write and record to them. Most of the tracks I've recieved have been top notch and we work out a standard 50/50 split.
If you're a producer and want to get down with the program, hit me up!

I love Podcasters!
I've found myself just as 'geeked' about getting podcast 'air' time as I have radio play.
I think it's because of the longivity of the podcast, most podcasters keep some type of archive of past podcasts so a listener can always go back and hear something they missed. You just can't do that with radio.
Also, it's a very select person that listens to a podcast. First off they have the means by which to listen to it in the first place. Secondly, they seem to get into 'new' stuff, i.e. new technology, new music; and that's a good thing. Thirdly, the podcasters themselves are cool people!
I like internet radio too, don't get me wrong, the two are almost siblings. Podcasting just does something else with the broadcast genre.
Here are a few podcasts that have played my music...

'Casshern' as beautiful as Sci-Fi gets
my brother, who's into anime, manga, and all that (i used to be when I was younger, you know Robotech, Voltron, etc.) bought this DVD over called Casshern and the imagery is out of this world.
I'll put it to you like he did to me, if you haven’t' seen SWIII yet make sure you do so BEFORE viewing Casshern. The fight scenes and special effects and imagery in this movie are simply mind blowing. Imagine you favorite anime scenes digitally scripted and reworked into a screen play. Imagine 'Sin City' mixed with 'The Matrix' (the first one, it's the most beautiful of the three, cinematically and rhythmically speaking) mixed with 'Ghost in the Shell' mixed with 'Dune' (the first one, Sting was in it), get the eye-dea?
The concepts, however, are rather complex and difficult to grasp at some points and some of the images are a bit gory (I don't like scary movies, at all. just a disclaimer). Even so, its still breathtaking. And I can't even comment on the score/soundtrack.
Definitely a beautiful piece of work.

Well it's Sunday,
Time for Sunday school.
What ever happend to Sunday school anyway. I remember Bible stories, cookies and punch, singing songs, and messing up your Sunday dress that was supposed to be kept tidy for Sunday afternoon dinner.
Anyone else remember Sunday school?
