Unfortunately, US prog rockers Dredg will no longer be touring Australia with Karnivool this November/December. After further planning and some unexpected twists Dredg management have announced the band will not be in Australia for the Sine Waves and Mirrors tour. Karnivool apologise to their fan base for this unforeseen change but this decision was completely beyond their control. Taking their place is Sydney live and radio favourites Regular John.

Melbourne fans will also get an extra show with a date added at The Palace Theatre on Thursday December 3rd – tickets for this show are on sale now and the show on Wednesday December 2nd is about to sell out as other shows noted below. Having just completed a hugely successful international tour over the past couple of months Karnivool are fully primed to deliver killer sets for their Australian fans.

‘All I Know’, the new single from the Sound Awake album is currently being serviced to radio, with work being completed on yet another striking video full of special effects with an abstract sci-fi style clip built around a bizarre labyrinth.

KARNIVOOL will return to the USA next year for the release of their ‘Sound Awake’ album in February.

A reminder these are the last shows for KARNIVOOL in 2009, tickets are selling fast so make sure you don’t miss out!

Hi all,

apologies for the last minute notice, but things have taken a while to get going since landing back in Australia!

If you live in Melbourne, myself (Drew Goddard) and Forrester Savell (producer for Themata and Sound Awake) will be taking part in this years Face the Music Conference at the the Fairfax Theatre, St Kilda this Saturday, 31st Oct.

This particular session, entitled 'Me and my producer' is happening from 11.25am - 12.25pm and will be focusing on the changing role of the producer and the band as well as the dynamic between the two. Myself and Forrester will be using our experiences in the creation and recording of Themata and Sound Awake as a case study. If this sounds like it is down your alley.. then you'd best get in REALLY quick.. there are only a few seats left..

please visit http://www.thepush.asn.au/ for more info

or for bookings.. go straight to

The 22nd of Sept will find us at the Knitting Factory in LA, supported by Opus Dai, Lunar Sway and Woven. The show is presented by our friends at 3EG. We then make our way over to New York City on the 25th Sept for an evening at Don Hills.

Sound Awake will be released in North America in February 2010.

We hope to see your happy smiling faces at the shows. :)

Hey folks!

Our international tour dates are up on the site now.. We've been invited to support our old friends
Skindred in the UK. We met the guys first when we supported with them on a tour that took us around
most of the United States and into Canada. They are great guys, and we love their music so we're very excited about getting back on the road with them!

Well that last tour was amazing! I think we're still recovering from the intensity of the run! The shows were great, if you didn't get a chance to see us and wanted to stay tuned! We're going to be touring Australia again before the end of the year after we get back from overseas, details coming!

That's it for now folks, we're back in Perth still transferring gear around from the tour! Amazing how much of it there actually was. Big thanks to our crew on the last run too, Andy, Griff, Robbo, Newby, Richie, Luke, Greg, Downsy, and everyone who came to a show!

And a BIG thanks for buying the album those of you who have! A month and a half after release it's an amazing experience to have worked so long on something and then release it to the world and get the kind of feeback that we have, we really appreciate your comments!

Talk soon!
