Standing up individually and proclaiming ourselves as above all designations, a human residing on planet earth and banding together under the flag of our planet and species is merely the next step in the ongoing struggle for personal freedom.

Imagine, if the globe were united by a network of individuals working together as equals, with an equal say in the way things happen in and on our only home, Earth. What could be accomplished? Our world today has so many problems; famine, war, hate, abuse of power and greed. What if we could change our attitude, by banding together and working hard, for everyone's benefit, to eliminate threats to our survival and build a happy civilization, ready to move into the future, what if?

The difference between love and hate is that when one lets love consume them, they will never lose the ability to be truly happy in any situation. Hate and a disposition towards negativity and closed-minded ness is the equal opposite and leads to the feelings of hopelessness, despair, insensitivity, and ignorance... As simply as logic can put it would be to say that "God is Love" and by God, i mean whatever you would mean had you said it yourself; the ultimate meaning behind life and the entire universe. Whether or not you believe god to exist somewhere (or everywhere), the power of love itself is worth worshiping.

This personal philosophy, once tapped into and more fully realized has the power to transform every aspect of your life in front of your eyes, and is evidenced by the long standing tradition of major religions across the world and across time teaching the importance of love as of supreme importance.

What we see though, is that throughout history the relationship between love and hate, god and ignorance has had a very complicated relationship. When people have decided to start a church at any point in the history of mankind, it has usually been because, they feel they have discovered the true nature of God and the Universe through their own or someone else's personal philosophy. The inate flaw in many of their systems though, was that the true power of love was never realized by most of the people that upheld these traditions, for love being equivilent to God, is infinite and unstopable, but church and tradition are innately flawed in that they preach separatism and exclusivity. How can God be truly realized when spiritual leaders teach that its not good enough to have reached God personally, and through your own experiences if it is not done the "right" way, which usually boils down to nothing less then promising your eternal soul to one side or the other. It seems to be an obvious flaw that unfortunatly is very hard to reverse, due to millennia of disagreement and tradition.

Whether you are an atheist, agnostic, christian, jew, muslim, hindu, buddhist, rastafari, or ________it is important to realize that we are all the same, as pieces in the great puzzle of existence, and whether we identify with chaos, God, Elohim, Allah, Jah, Yo, the Great Spirit, etc., there is not a single difference in what we are labeling, besides the labels. We are all trying to find our place in this universe and to discover the true purpose behind it all. It may be too obvious to even point out, but it is true to the utmost that the real purpose behind the universe always has been and always will be one and the same, a constant, just like existence itself. Isn't it obvious then, that the only differences between religions and groups of people are the names that they have given to the same all important concepts. If love can overcome and humans can learn to happily coexist, then we will be truly moving in the direction that our mother earth, and any god that may rule over existence has intended us to.

If we are truly to ensure our future and bring peace to our people, we need to learn what it really means to live, love, and unite.

Within ten years, life on earth will be unimaginably different. Humanity at its present is reaching crisis after crisis as the threats of global warming, religious extremism, unchecked aggression, greed and the rest become more obvious and ominous everyday. The problems we face in today's world are unlike any that have been experienced throughout history, simply because the world today is faced with the startling realization that we are going to have to look at our survival and future as that of a single living organism. If global warming or any other cosmic threats manifest, the threat leaves out no one, we are all caught up in the same struggle. If waring "religious" interests and their respective nations clash and lead to nuclear war, they threaten life as we know it, for everyone on the planet. If America keeps its attitude of Mega-Capitalist McWal Nation, hell bent on fixing the worlds differences with bullets and bombs, we might as well help put up Big Brother posters. I could go on, but I'm sure you have ideas of your own.

The point is, that if we could ensure that we could avoid any of these or countless other scenarios, then we would be stupid not to. Imagine all of the scenarios that may unfold over the next 10-20 years with all of the different power struggles and change of governments and interests that could happen in a world run like ours is today.

Earth is already connected, technology has reached a point that one single event can occur and cause implications clear across the planet seconds or less later, whether positive or negative. We are an organism, connected in every way, we need to do what we can to survive as a species and as a planet...

This brings me to our real problem, If we really are in this struggle as one; as a species, as an organism, as known existence, we're just not healthy, and not fit to take on any real challenges that we may run into or run into us. People, for some reason just can't seem to get along, and therein lies an age old dilemma that threatens all of our futures.

It should be so obvious though! Truth and reason lead us to conclusions that when considered only briefly easily prove the illogicality of disputes over race, religion, sex, orany other differences; we are all the same. Not one person on this planet had anything to do with their coming into existence and not a single one remembers the event. Each and everyone of us has merely been living the life that we have chosen and that the fate of the time line has made for us. Shouldn't it be easier to forget that there are even barriers between us? There aren't! Homo sapiens are the one and only species found on earth blessed with consciousness and reason, if only we knew how to use it. If you realize the power of uniting as a species, for the good of all us and everyone's only home, the possibilities are endless.

If the power and the decision making was in the hands of the majority, as are the goals of true democracy and true communism, what couldn't be accomplished? If all of the developed nations in the world realized that war is obsolete and that they should redirect their efforts towards making peace and encouraging development, imagine the progress that could be made almost instantly. If America could stop worshiping the dollar and hating anything that could sound even slightly like communism, we would realize that humanity working together has the power to provide for all of us, while humanity in competition has proved to benefit only some and made true freedom and happiness hard to come by for anyone.

BALANCE IT SEEMS: IS, ALWAYS HAS BEEN, AND ALWAYS WILL BE THE KEY TO EVERYTHING

We are already an organism, the future poses a great edict for humanity, realize that we are all interdependent on each other and our planet, learn to love our brothers and sisters,and unite for the future of our species, or not and leave the power where it lies and see how the dice drop...

as we approach the 1st anniversary of the day I originally started the World Unification Network and its myspace page, i think back to what feels like a lifetime ago, but according to my calendar was only a year. I’ve gone from living in Mom’s basement, to my friends apartment across town, another friends apartment across the country, eventually a new apartment and my own room out there in Colorado, and now here I am back in (close enough) my hometown, living in a great little apartment with my wonderful girlfriend and our unborn child (also our first!), due in just 2 months!!! Wow, since then April 10, 2007 our presence here on Myspace has grown massively thanks to many of you for all of your help in building this vision into something that actually can bring true hope into all of our lives, and is reaching out to awaken minds and unite us around the globe, but i wanted to take a moment here to reflect on some history, and show you all what i call the original WUN, basically its the myspace page i created before i knew what to call the idea of using the internet to unite enough people to radically change the way we do things here on earth in the most positive and enlightening way for us all.




The page was called thir13en. org and essentially was named for an awesome number that coincidentally (if there is a such thing) has been coming into my life since i came into life October 13, 1985... i realized the idea was great but would need a name change and one that would fit its broader purpose and reach out to more then victims of the war on drugs and more to everyone on earth, because, i was realizing regardless of different labels we have applied to different groups of people throughout time and regardless of how much the powers that be are determined to keep it that way we all share the most common of bonds we could possibly imagine, we are all blessed enough to be born on this beautiful planet as these amazing creatures with such unlimited potential, why should we continue to let the system continue to run amuck when we could be working together, individually 6 billion people around the world to determine our future, why not, the internet is the best invention ever for exactly that reason period.





So in an effort to rename our idea into something utterly purposeful i sat like i did many nights (whoring myself to Wikipedia mostly, and smoking a bit) and i decided to try and work with a different spelling of the word/number one, WUN was the first that looked good and felt right, so i tried thinking of something to make it stand for, W, how about "world" U, "unite or unity", and N how about ’network’, great first try i love it was what i was thinking when i decided to just write it out to see how it looked on paper, i think thats when i changed unity to Unification and it looked like this

by complete accident (thank you God) the first and second letters of this new name idea both spelled out WUN or ’one’ and the name was here to stay
i renamed the idea behind thir13en. org, WorldUnificationNetwork. org, bought the domain and built the myspace page April 10, 2007

attention all friends
in this last month of the year 2007 it is my intention to reach our goal
of bringing theWUN’s message of hope for our future to our 11,111th friend on Myspace
i personally will be running friend adding programs day and night, and am able
to add request about 300-400 people a day.  unfortunately 1 add request doesn’t
necessarily equal 1 friend, and sometimes i’ll request 300 friends and only make 50,
many people are just not ready to make the realizations necessary to understand
why our world needs change and how that if we can make it a positive change from the hearts and minds
of all of the people of earth we can truly understand what path we must
walk as humanity to be able to peacefully coexist, or should i say exist, into the future...
many people just don’t understand, as we speak 9151 of you have either approved my request for friendship
or have yourselves seeked to befriend theWUN and i thank you all and thank god himself/herself/itself/yourself/myself/ourself
that we have been able to make this connection
the last 8 months have been some of the best and also most confusing of my life, feeling compelled to do something
about the world i live in which i saw swirling the shithole (and still see) i did only what i felt i must do
as my obligation to my planet and people, the world needs a peaceful change to defuse the ticking (nuclear) time bomb that
it has been building up to... the ideas that peace and love (thy neighbor) could change the world have been around for quite awhile
freedom is as natural an instinct as breathing to kind souls and is not something that should ever again be infringed upon, history, history, history...
democracy in its true form is something beautiful that we only get to see a 4th rate ripoff of in action in America, and in its true form can produce
the best answers for our future, how should we move forward, to turn the tide and take the power back from the corrupt and the greedy and
really figure out how we right the course of this fucked up space ship Earth, whether that pursuit leads us to true democracy (everybody votes on everything) or something better, only time will tell, that is why i feel theWUN is the best way for us to move forward, that is why i devote my free time to reaching out to as many of you as possible, so that we can unite and we can together be the change we wish to see in our world
in closing, i am asking all of you to be a part of this revolution of love that we have started and are going to keep materializing into our future, they tried to get it started once in the
60’s and to many the failure of that revolution to materialize is proof enough that peace love and freedom could not work to save the world, why else would we be living in the 17th freest (and Best!!!(hope i’m not being too sarcastic)) country in the world only 40 years later... history repeats itself but this time there’s a difference, this time the fate of our people’s existence into the future depends on us being able to cooperate in this time of need, trouble, and confusion to safely and peacefully bring the power of the "free" world back to the people and back to the law of reason
this will work, and we will it make work, this time, for one reason and one reason alone i know we will succeed, we will do it because sooner or later our survival instinct will tell us that we NEED to, mine already has, so presumably have many of yours, when will it kick in for the rest of my people is the question i ask.  there is no way around it in my perspective, unless i want
to bring my child up in the shitty backwards self destructive world that i live in then change is NECCESSARY!
having recently found out that am bringing new life into this world with my first child due in May i need to know that there is hope or i don’t want to
stay here myself let alone bring someone else into a hopelessly flawed system.  the only way that i can maintain that hope is if i know that you all
have that hope too and much much more importantly  then that are willing to break out of the enslaved mentality we are raised in and actually DO SOMETHING about it
you may know this quote and i find it more and more relevent by the day as i see everyday as a lost opportunity to do something whether its actually
impeaching (omg!) the worst president/world leader the world has ever seen, or campaigning for someone who actually offers us hope of living in the
free nation we we’re supposed to be as set forth by the founders (and on hemp paper)(Ron Paul!)

Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men.

i  cannot reach 11,111 friends on our myspace page by 2008 without help nor can i even keep the 1,111,111,111 target up on the page if i do not hope more people will start materializing their intentions for a better world, and  hopefully using theWUN as that united front for actual positive change in our world
i cannot set a date for the world’s biggest peaceful rally/concert/gathering or get bands to commit without leadership participation and cooperation among
all the friends of the Earth, and theWUN likewise, a united front is the only way things will ever actually change in this country (US(fatlazygreedyignorantarrogant)A)
and
thank you for hearing me and thank you all for being if not a friend of mine, a friend of the earth, a friend of our people, and a friend of theWUN
if you believe in the change people, please, let’s see it, i need help to take this any further then i already have, and it is only going to be with your leadership, participation, creativity, blessings, and unfortunately donations (this is a not for profit revolution and so far we’ve been operating on the money i don’t spend on other stuff ($9.20 an hour and don’t forget, a baby in 6 months) so please do what you can to be a part of the revolution of peace, reason, and freedom and H-H-HELP ME!!!
