This weekend I came face to face with the realization of how truly blessed I am. I have said this before and I am sure I will say it again... life isn't about what you do, it's about who you do it with.  This weekend I spent my time sleeping under the stars, cooking on an open fire, having a few tasty beverages, horseback riding, floating/rafting rapids down a beautiful river, playing in the rain and most importantly hanging out with the most amazing people ever! I had some much fun and created so many wonderful memories, (even in the not so adventurous moments...aka horseback riding). Thanks to my awesome friends for such a great time and thank you to the lord for blessing me so!

Have your really thought about who you are and not who you want to be. I think that often we tend to spend most of our lives running from who we are, in search of who we want to be and trying to be something we aren't. Sometimes we put so much effort into running that we lose sight of who we are. We all might be happier if we could learn to just be who we are....I know that I would be!!!

Humeur actuelle :  content

So tonight I realised that I have been spending way too much time trying to understand why people think and act the way that they do, and not nearly enough time accepting them for who they are. I often feel that people dont understand me and the way that I think and act. (For those of you who don't know me, I tend to over analyse everything.) But the first step in change is seeing that you need to change, and the second step is wanting to change, and of course the third is making it happen.  So the plan for my summer is a lot less over analysing and a lot more relaxing!
