JOEY ARIAS is a New York City performance actor who has appeared in such film classics as Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, Big Top Pee-wee and been on Saturday Night Live and performed with Cirque du Soleil. He is the subject of a new documentary directed by Bobby Sheehan from Working Pictures called 'Arias with a Twist." The film features interviews with David Bowie, Andy Warhol, Cassandra (Elvira) Peterson, Klaus Nomi and many other scenesters discussing Joey and his work.

Mort Todd has done some animated segments for the film which can be seen below.

First English Review of THE DIABOLIKAL SUPER-KRIMINAL Film!

The documentary film about SADISTIK entitled THE DIABOLIKAL SUPER-KRIMINAL garnered many accolades throughout Europe whenever it was screened. Now after its US premiere at the San Diego Comic-Con, American reviews are starting to come in.

The first is from the excellent Double O Section site and you can read it here!

We are currently trying to have a New York City premiere at a well-known theatre that could lead to an extended run. If we were to run it can we count on tri-state area fans to attend? (There would most likely be an after-party for the premiere with free drinks as added incentive!)

The Third Annual PSYCHOBILLY LUAU was held on July 18, 2009 and was a raging success! Among the bands performing were DEADBOLT, MEMPHIS MORTICIANS, PSYCHOCHARGER, The ARKHAMS and many more! The Luau also marked the First PSYCHOBILLY LUAU Comic Book by Laura Rebel Angel and Mort Todd and people lucky enough to attend the show were able to get a copy of this exclusive comic!

Now for a limited time, anyone can get a copy of this collectors' edition, signed by artist Mort Todd, for only $6, postage included! The comic features an epic battle, featuring the above bands battling the seemingly never-ending hordes of hipsters that threaten the sensibilities of music-lovers everywhere! SADISTIK Action Figure Premieres at San Diego Con!

A sinister shadow fell over the 2009 San Diego Comic Convention when SADISTIK made his presence known with a double whammy! Not only did THE DIABOLIKAL SUPER-KRIMINAL documentary film directed by SS-Sunda make its US premiere to much acclaim, the SADISTIK action figure prototype made its debut and generated much excitement! Here, revealed for the first time to the public, are images of the evil action figure, a 12" 1/6 scale incarnation of the King of Crime to be manufactured exclusively by Executive Replicas!

The Diabolikal One joins a parade of other licensed quality figures from the company, joining the ranks of Boris Karloff, Night of the Living Dead, Bettie Page and other fine action figures from Executive Replicas.
