Well, we finally got the first mix back last week, and believe you me, it made a world of difference. It's amazing what a difference adjusting levels and cleaning some stuff up can make. At the moment, we're going over every track with a fine-toothed comb to find anything we want changed, then it's back to Jalipaz to make it even more awesome than it already was. After that, it's off to get mastered, and we'll finally be (almost) done!
Hopefully we'll have some gig information soon, there are some in the works but nothing's concrete yet.
Until the unicorns come to slay us all, Jack

Don't worry babies, vox tracks have been added. Step 2 of the cd recording process was interesting. It wasn't as grueling or as physically exhausting as the first time, but it still ended up taking most of the day. Steve and I got to the studio around 10am to set up drums. We got in and got to work, for those of you who don't know, setting up drums to record is a pain in the butt. It usually takes any where from 45 min (if EVERYthing is perfect) to a couple hours (luckily we're working with a pro). Dan showed up shortly after so we took a break to grab lunch, and by the time we got back Jack was already there (I love coming back from a meal and everybody's ready to go). I do have to give a huge thanks real quick to Jack's Supervisor at work for letting him have the day off to record, anytime you want some signed underwear just let me know. So, we get all the instruments set up and ready to rock, we've just got one more track to lay down and then vocals on everything. We get into and, after a couple of false starts, we knocked it out of the park. Vocals went off without a hitch, it was just one after another, boom, boom, boom. Steve had to take off before we got to record the group vocals, but luckily his brother, and our friend Kyle, stood in. So now Kyle is stand-in Steve. 6pm rolls around and we are done, completely, over to iHop for dinner, and that's that. Now it's just a matter of mixing and mastering, we should have the cd in a couple of months. Rock on Konamis Krew! TJ

Man-oh-man, what a day.
Yesterday saw our first day of recording for our first album. 10 hours, a lot of cigarettes, and not nearly enough caffeine later, we've got about 12 pretty solid tracks down (minus vocals). All I can say is that I'm about as exhausted as I have ever been. Who knew how tiring it could be to play bass for 8 hours straight? Looks like we'll only need about one more session to get 2 more songs and all the vocals down, and the only thing remaining will be the mix.

Dan and Jack have returned to us from Japan. A little bit wiser, a little bit older, and twice as full of that ol' rock and roll magic. Welcome home boys, welcome home.

So, you may ask yourself, how did I get here? and you may ask yourself what is "Alien Bride"?
Well, I'll tell you it is the hot new fresh track that's sweeping the nation. Recorded at the music conservitory in tempe az, with Baby D helping us out, it is all that is awesome. Listen to it over and over again.
Bandages had a good run, but it was time to take it down.

Well if you missed the show on the 18th, you're outta luck. That was the last show for at least a few months, as our very own Dan Bruner and Jack Crawford are leaving for Japan on (August 4th). They will be over there for three month incraments until next July, for intensive Japanese language courses. Frank and I wish them a fond farewell and the best of luck. Fear not loyal fans, for we will still be practicing until our fated reunion. I just pity the venue that hosts that show, for it will surely be rocked to the ground.
