Have just seen the AMG guide is getting a bit more accurate and features a lot of streaming excerpts of Karda Estra music now. Interesting to see some rarities I haven't heard myself in years! (The Warmth Of The Sky from The Sky Goes All The Way Home and The Projected Future from the Cyclops Sampler 5. Plus they've also got the first Steve Hackett cover Twice Around The Sun). Have sent some updated info for the discography including Weird Tales.

'The Pit & The Pendulum' piece is complete and the master is on it's way for mastering. What a relief that's finished! I don't recall in quite a while a piece having so many changes and re-writes - or taking so long! Anyhow, it should emerge next year on the Colossus Records Edgar Allan Poe tribute CD...

Which leaves the path clear for some of the projects that have built up ...
This week I started the arrangement of the Karda Estra cover of Steve Hackett's 'Tigermoth' - I started at the end and worked out the arrangement for the end song bit for Ileesha to sing. For a Genesis solo tribute album on Mellow Records next year.

Also, I got down a midi sketch for a tune that will be for guitar and clarinet - possibly a live acoustic version that can be filmed and put on Youtube? I quite like the idea of doing some live acoustic versions of other Karda estra pieces for Youtube as well.

I have returned to the collaboration tune I started with Stu Rowe and put the drum loop and chords to hard disc plus a bit of acoustic (not classical - shock!) guitar.

And finally a new 5/4 piece which is the most recent.

I normally work on just one piece at a time ... usually anymore ends in disaster - it will be interesting to see if they all make the finish line .... well, 'Tigermoth' will at least as it's already written...

On Echoes Radio - the audio version on the blog here also features the Plague Of The Zombies 'Karda Estra' chant ...

Details of when the full interview is braodcast can be found at the above link also.

Many thanks to John Diliberto who even enticed Ileesha to chat too!
