Round-about
Running around in circles of avenues gone by
Never knowing which way to take on my own
Confusing times split by my own rationality
I hit the choke and stall changing my tone
Where do I go for an insane idea in a sane place
Another path goes by and my thoughts go away
Wishfull thinking for a rock next to a hard place
If I take this right will I be wrong.. it doesn't say
Jumbled up and confused on lanes to take
Taking turns going wrong in a one way street
I look for someone I knew but they are fake
I must get up, get up, GET UP onto my Feet.
Wow! Where did this come from a waking moment
All stemming from a person already to turn to shout
Where are we heading in this self agonizing atonement?
Where the heck am I heading in this real life round-about?

Who Cares?
Shattered Images of our past memories
Jumbled into a picture of a chaotic pattern
Of digested heartfelt feelings that varies
In the middle of a right and a wrong turn.
Shortness of a breath and a dying heartbeat
That lies in between a lost paradise and a reality.
Meaningless figures that take us off our feet
A numbness that mixes our thoughts with frailty.
The selfishness in a lost and shadowed love
Never knowing the shifting balance of our lives
Making up distant emotions that make us shove
Each other into a conversation of emotional sighs.
Walking in the shadows of our feelings
Always mine to yours and yours to hers.
We live in a constant paused life of dealings
Wondering to ourselves who else cares?

Lost Again, Found Again
Blank Stares in a sea of upset faces
Tribulations of the hierarchy at hand
Currents in an ocean of shifting places
We all see the wind filled with sand.
Can we accumulate the satisfactions
Of territories lost and claimed again
Have we lost our place in the pantheons
Is mankind lost with in that blame?
Finger pointing to all the savages
Loss of common sense on a global scale
Children lost to just being averages
We must do something before we fail.
History is dooming us all to repeat
We must learn from our countless mistakes
To take control of our own future, not cheat
And not to hide behind these social fakes!

SHADOWS IN THE NIGHT A man in black, ambling down the path, Merry is he as he thought to himself, Riches galore in the beast's berth. On his back a blade crafted from the Elf.
Hilted with the desire to taste blood, And made with vengeance of the heart. Quick as a knight's death feud, Forged by Necromancy, the dark art.
A shadow traverses in the night sky. Huge in mass and nimble in flight, A beast that is cunning and very sly. His mother is the moon and his brother is the night.
Drako is his name and a Dragon is he. Born in fire and set with knowledge. His breath and words were the key. His heart was pushed to the edge.
Watching silently where the dragon had laid. To hide his scent, he lathered with muck of the marsh. The man pushed on to the lair the beast had made, Quietly and slowly moving through the bush.
As he watched the dragon plummet to its home, The stench of death came to his nose, Softly perfumed with the smell of a tomb. Where this scent came from nobody knows.
A dead knight, a slain maiden, maybe a man, Mistaken by the presence of the beast. Wandering in this hole into another land, Where life and beauty seems to cease.
Sword in hand, shaking, he pushes on. Taken by a low rumble that shakes the ground, Sweat on his back slowly trickling down, This man is experienced with this sound!
The beast is in sight resting from the flight. Silently the man says his death prayer. He knows not of any change this night. The beast speaks, "Welcome Dragon Slayer..."

Loneliness Tangle into my world for a moment And become enthralled by the outcome To see my soul urge by your scent And see my heart warm by your sun
Feather walk across the seas of doubt And have sustenance in the poll of reason These are my desires that I have sought For so long in this lonely season
Your lips sweep across mine I plead in ecstasy for your body Wrapped up onto you like a vine Slowly becoming sweet and naughty
Tears of joy cascade my face As I reach out for the stars Your touch reminds me of lace Revealing the forbidden power of Mars As our bodies become one A flash of light appears or so it would seem The loneliness once again has won It…It was all just a dream!!!

My Darkness As my light leaves, the darkness consumes me, Like a beast clawing and ripping inside, I look for an answer, something to set me free. I need a soothing voice someone to confide. darkness The temptation rises like the moon in the sky. Slowly, surely, gradually it rides the night. It is the truth, it is the way, and it will never lie The dark consumes, with help it could be bright. Darkness I am the moon that has lost the light, My sun has forsaken me to the void of darkness I am disappearing, vanishing into the night I am the moon of my own sadness DArkness People look for me, but I am gone, I am a shell My light is dimming, it is fading away They can't find the person I once was, I am not well I have lost my light, my hope, my way DARKness My light will be gone, and the darkness will prevail I'm losing my soul, my spirit, my balance soon. The beast is coming my humanity is way too frail. blackness NO! My sun will come, I know, for I am the moon

They Walk Among Us
Angels walk among us everyday. Their faces are aglow with a heavenly light. Happiness and love is always their way To look upon them is a miracle on your sight Apparitions that are of you reincarnate They are your one final redemption To give them love is never too late You are their one and only salvation
To know them is to love them They have your eyes, ears, and face To them you are their only kin Spirits woven together like lace
Difficult journeys ahead lie in wait A new life begging to be discovered Life's lessons are wrapped in your fate Showing you that there is more to be learned Angels walk among us everyday You love, respect, and honor them Their happiness is always your way For they,… are our children

A wondering man…
A man walks his own path undisturbed by his own intuition
He studies his life in full agonizing detail and comes to know himself
Through miniscule objective reasoning he comes to an accusation
That he feels empty and lonely and shows the world no wealth.
Is he the pauper or the preacher it is this he does not know
He spends his life studying life and the society he lives with in
Wondering which path he should follow to find his flow
The acolyte or the commander where exactly does he fit in?
One day in great speculation of his life and everything that exist
He sees a man in a lake old and weary from years that have passed
The old man looks back at him with contempt shaking his aged fist
The man is dejected, he speaks, why do you forsake me in my task?
The old man sighs and looks with wondering eyes that cut like a knife
The man is taken aback when he realizes that the old man is himself
To spend your life wondering who you are wastes away your own life
In all this I hope you understand all you have to do is be true to yourself.

Thank You…
Sitting here in the darkness thinking
Of the past, present, and future times
She was there for all the fighting,
And was there when life was all limes.
Good times went by with her right by our side.
She is the favorite Aunt I wish I always had.
She may not fly and heaven she doesn't reside,
But to us our guardian angel has came and landed.
Our lives have been enriched by her,
Whenever we fell her hand came first.
Troubles came but her love was the cure,
Relieving the pressure before one of us burst.
So I write this to our one loving savior.
You have been there when we had so few,
You loved us even with our bad behavior,
Barbara I guess what I am saying is… Thank You.

Stay and Fight
Footsteps in the darkness surrounded by silence.
A figure of a former man trapped in his own steeple,
Loosened passion from a love of past ignorance,
He stands still and alone among a sea of people.
Never knowing who to love and who to hate,
Opening himself all too much to a world with pain,
Accepting this life as a cruel twist of fate.
Slipping slowly forward and becoming insane.
An unknown world of light and happiness,
Strangeness fills his mind with unyielding doubt,
So used to the darkness and his own loneliness,
That his soul screams and his heart begins to shout.
I will not go down in my own darkness.
I will stay in this unknown blinding light.
Until my ears go deaf and my eyes suffer blindness,
From here and beyond I will stay and fight.
