As you all know by now, after spending a couple weeks in a coma due to a hyperthyroid condition, Barbie (of Rubbing Down Debbie) passed away on the 19^th of this month. She never saw it coming and fought as hard as her little body would let her. The memorial service was held today and her family is still in great need of help. Barbie was a dear friend of ours and will always be in our hearts.

We need help! We need funds for her family. We are asking everyone to do what they can for Barbie’s family….whether it be money, prayer, cards or emotional support....it ALL helps.

This is an 18+ event and we encourage ALL of our fans, performing bands fans and RDDs fans to come together and participate in celebration of Barbie’s life and what she contributed to, not just the Jax music scene as a performer and writer, but also to our lives as a friend!

We also need help promoting the show! So spread the word guys! Bulletin the flyers, call your friends, blog, email, sign language, smoke signals, whatever….just PLEASE help spread the word about the benefit show on Mat 30^th @ The French Quarter! It is going to be an AWESOME event….for an even better cause!!

We have to do it that early because the preacher is doing it for free and he is going out of town that day. We had to choose cremation for Barb because we do not have money for anything else. Unfortunately, there is not going to be a viewing because that adds on more money. She cannot be cremated until four days after, so the urn will not be at the church, we will have pictures of her up. I know this is,"poof" out of nowhere, so hopefully you can make it.
