2 nya gigs är bokade! Ett gig i Luleå på Lillan den 22a Maj och ett i Umeå på Kulturnatta (Pub Freja) den 23e Maj! Hoppas vi träffas då!!!

Tyvärr var vi tvungen att ställa in spelningen i Kiruna den 8e Maj, och spela med stand-in sångare på Luleå-giget den 9onde eftersom Marcus åkt på en ordentlig förkylning! Beklagar, men vi kommer tillbak så snart som möjligt (till Luleå redan den 22:a )

Today was the last day of recording in the studio! (we..ll record vocals and a few other things afterwards) We recorded all of Adam..s guitar solos and growls, and also a few other melodic guitars.

After finishing all we had planned, the computer in the studio crashed... So unfortunately, we couldn..t bounce out the rough mix this evening. But Ronnie (our producer) will bounce out everything in his home-studio, so it..s not a bigger loss..

 Leaving the studio for the last time this week..

Today we started with a walk to Ronnie..s friend to borrow an acoustic guitar, and after we..ve returned to the studio, we of course.. recorded some acoustic guitars. We finished all acoustic-parts with just a fast break for lunch...

After all the acoustic-guitars were recorded... We recorded a few melodic guitars to a song called "Endless Rage". And when we had finished that song, Alex came by in the studio and recorded his last rythm guitars, to a song called "Name of Time".

Late this evening, Adam arrived to Umeå from Kiruna... So tomorrow, its time to record all of his solos, and to finish all the guitar-tracks before its time for us to take the train home. And then its time for Marcus, our vocalist, to record his stuff down in Malmö! But we have one more day of recording left, so you..ll hear more tomorrow!

Today was ALSO a great day of recording... Alex started the day with some rythm-guitar-recordings! He recorded 2 songs before lunch and 1 after. And then a really skilled guitarist named Richard Lundmark (myspace.com/fretdance) came by in the studio and recorded a guest-solo on one of our songs. The result was awesome!

After Richard..s solo was done and he had left the studio, we recorded a few more rythm guitars, and left only one song for tomorrow! When Alex was finished for today, me (Johannes) and Ronnie sat down and arranged/recorded a few additional guitars. We "finished" 2 songs before it was time to go home...

We started this day with Marcus recording some bass guitar! And after a while and a few songs recorded, Alex arrived to the studio with his friends and a car, so we packed in all the drums we had hired and returned them to the music-store!

After returning all the drums and eating lunch, we returned to the studio where Marcus recorded the songs he had left. Anton Karlström from The Coloured Officepaper also came and visited us in the studio. And of course, some beer-drinking was made!

After Marcus was finished with all his bass-tracks, Alex started to record some guitars. He recorded rythm guitars to 3 songs, before it was time to go home! Ronnie bounced out the songs that we had finished drums, bass guitar and rythm guitar to, so we listened to them during the evenings party in Alex apartement! We are very pleased with the recordings this far, and we..ll probably be more pleased when its 100% finished!

We started this day with recording drums to the two songs that was left since yesterday. It went fine! On one of the tracks we even kept the first take! After we finished the drums, Ronnie sat down and made a few small adjustments in the drums while I packed down all the drums, and Alex and Marcus changed strings on their instruments!

After Ronnie was finished with the drum-editing, he put up his Peavy 5150 and tried out a great sound! And oh my god, it sounds awesome! The 5150 is a classic that still works! It seems to be a very aggressive sound on the album... and that..s nice!  After we had found the perfect guitar sound, Alex recorded rythm guitars to one and a half song! The rest is left for tomorrow!

Hello!

Today was a great recording-day! We nailed drums to 8 songs.. The drum-sound is fucking awesome! I also made a few experiments with fills and stuff like that, and it turned out great! We just need to record one song and one really short one tomorrow and do some editing until the drums to the whole record is finished, and that feels nice! And after that, its probably time for some rythm guitars.. You..ll hear more tomorrow!
