So the best thing EVAR happened today. Bob was working line control at the 2009 Phoenix Comicon and knowing what a HUGE Wil Wheaton fan I am and being the FUCKING AWESOMEST guy ever that Bob is.... he definitely scored me a video message from Wil Wheaton. Wil god damn Wheaton! I've only been in love with the man since the first episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. If ONLY words could express how mindblowing this was for me. Seriously, if I had my reaction on video it'd be fucking awesome, cause I'm sure it was priceless. I've never been more of a girly, squealy, bouncy fangirl in my whole life. I disgusted even myself. You don't get it. This was the best ever. Honestly, EVER. The only thing that could POSSIBLY make this better is if I somehow manage to make it to Comicon tomorrow and get to see the man in person. Though seeing him in person... I might actually wet my pants in sheer joy and dumbfounded-ness. He SAID my NAME. You should know that since Bob showed me the video I have been grinning like a fucking retard. And now, in all it's glory, my message from Wil Wheaton. TADA!!!!!

If only things would go as planned... just this once. So I'm supposed to be heading to Arizona tomorrow. Starting my lovely 2 and a half day road trip around 3 tomorrow afternoon. That might not happen at this point. Like the first week of December my car died. Snapped a timing belt and damaged the head. It's been in the shop since. Now, they KNEW when I was supposed to leave for Arizona because we were very clear about it. They promised it would be ready today. Was it ready today? No, they didn't bother to work on it until today... so when they put a new timing belt on it, ran it for an hour and destroyed another timing belt... they were surprised. Soooo, I still don't have a car. Hopefully it will get fixed bright and early tomorrow so I can clean it out, take it to get inspected, get new plates for it, PACK it, then get the fuck out of Dodge. My hopes aren't high, they were today... and then they were squashed. So at the moment I'm playing Bitter Betty. In reflection of my current mood, I've found a few icons to share.. cause it wouldn't be an Allie blog without icons. That one pretty much sums up how I feel about people sometimes. Wait... all the time. Yeah. That. Do it. I fucking Double Dog Dare you. This makes me feel better about how shallow I seem sometimes. Fuck you, you judge people before you get to know them too. It's human nature to form some sort of an opinion at first sight. I giggled in agreement. And as a final "fuck you very much" for this blog:

Sort of. It's time for another OH.SO.ENJOYABLE. Allie icon blog. It's been a while. I'm a little rusty. Laugh at them anyway so I don't get offended. Just know... I'm wittier than you'll ever be :-P Also more humble..... And not at all sarcastic. Evar. Hey. The icon makes a valid point. And don't you fucking forget it. Cause I've got some melted butter and some tongs in here. Gotta bust out some flare cause fuck my flare is funny. Annnd that concludes this chapter. I hope everyone had a GRAND time as I did. You should all know.. I peed a little.

Yeah, I said it. Huzzah. What now?
After a long weekend and beginning of the week I have finally run all my errands (well almost all my errands. Toodles still needs to get shaved on Friday) and gotten a ton of shit done. Today I registered for Spring classes and got all the online ones I needed.
So this officially means I am 100% guaranteed to be at ARF! I leave here January 19th and I'll be in AZ in time for the workshop on the 21st!!!! The toasty state of Arizona gets me for 2 whole months, if not a bit more.
Still dunno where I'm staying yet, but all that will work out in due time. Right now I'm just excited to know things are working out.
You know you're excited too.
My ARF Rennies, I miss you and I can't wait to see you/steal from you ;)
MUAH!

So I'm sure the rumors are flying around about me moving.
Well I'm here to finally officially confirm them. I will be moving to Kansas June 26th so that I can go back to college. Right now, in my current situation I can't afford college and well... My dad says he'll help if I move back, simple as that.
I will hopefully be transferring my job. Starbucks is nifty like that, they let you transfer. Of course there is only ONE Starbucks that I can transfer to and it's about... 40 miles from my dad's house. I'm still waiting to hear back from them on whether or not they will have room for me. I'm praying that I will... I really don't want a different job... I like my job.
The KC Ren Fest is in September and I'm trying my hardest to get involved. I've already talked to the director and he's agreed to let me audition when I get there. The way I would LIKE for my life to go is to be in Kansas until February.... be taking online classes during the spring semester and come back here for this faire. That's how I'm ATTEMPTING to get things to work out. Whether or not they will is another story.... though I don't think ARF would be complete without a couple saucy and feisty pirates walking around, do you?
I will be leaving a lot of people behind... and I will miss you all terribly. But at the same time, I get to see the rest of my family again... and the rest of my good friends in Kansas. My BUNNIE!
There will be some sort of going away type party event... probably costumed in some way. My parties tend to have a theme. More info about that at a later date.
That's it for now.

No seriously. I am. And it EFFING rules. I walk like I own the place and have sisterly and flintlock-y back up :) It's a great feeling to actually feel badass instead of just pretending you think you are. So this icon blog is dedicated to Pirate-y goodness. ER. badness. Yeah, this pretty much sums things up :) Well I haven't Frankly I can't get ENOUGH! Why yes, I am. ANNNNNDDD how! Because every pirate needs a motto. Oh and just cause I need to rant about it... If you're GOING to show up as a Jack Sparrow wannabe AT LEAST learn how to play back when we bombard you asking for the money you owe us (and my obligatory "You owe me MORE than money") line.

As most of you know, I'm obsessed with Icons. I like them. A lot. SO I'm gonna start posting blogs full of the ones I like the best :) It's pretty simple. I'm an overdramatic actress sometimes, I need an overdramaric actor to kiss :) Or just a regular actor to kiss if I can't find an overdramatic one... Really anyone will do, you don't even have to be an actor. (DESPERATE) Kidding. I really wish I was witty enough to just blurt this one out when people piss me off. I usually settle for a number of expletives that don't really fit together, but somehow seem to just work when they come from me. It's Lenore... 'Nuff said. She's my HERO. I want to be JUST like her. So emo and still so fantastic. Don't lie ladies, you've done the flower thing. That's the POINT of flowers. Guys, I bet some of you have even done it. Come on, fess up. The only things that could make this icon better is if they were SMELLY magic markers.... which I have a pack of... in my desk. Annnd last but not least (At least for this evening): Because the first sign that they like you is that they pretend they don't. Oh and cause boys have cooties.

So as many people know Matt, Mandy, Camberly and I auditioned for the Arizona Renissance Festival as a new stage act, The Siren Sisters. If you don't know more than that, I'll spare you. Just know we were dirty, raunchy, pirating sisters. Yep... all of us... sisters.
In any case, Yesterday we found out there's no room for new stage acts this year. Boohoo. It's very sad and depressing. It's ok though, Jess did all she could so really who could ask for more.
Have no fear though my Rennie friends (Or just those of you who were looking forward to coming to faire to pester me. Or to make wax hands Anne :) ) I will be out there! Camberly, Mandy and I will be out as basically our three characters from The Siren Sisters, modified slightly to fit the new title The Flirtatious Swashbuckling Bandits. Yay for being flirty pirates.
So yay, I'll be out there all season and you ALL better come visit me :P
The End.
Allie
