Celebrating another Amazing night, ME Cabo and The Passion Club and Lounge hosted the Stoplight Party. Wearing and modeling, red, yellow and green, the whole ethos of this party was built around the concept and dress code of letting know the other guests if “you are available tonight”.

Green: “You’re in for the night,” proceed nicely, gracefully!

Yellow: Proceed with care; “Who knows what might happen?” – might go green, might go red!

Red: “Friendship might be the way” – 99% unavailable!

DJ Edgar Velazquez from Mexico City, rocked the night with the best music, guests and clients n-joyed meting new people and dancing until 4am.

Last month, ME Cabo hosted one of the most anticipated parties of the year, the Nikki Beach 4th Anniversary. The celebration began on Friday 24th at the Passion Club and Lounge. Everybody was invited to the most sexiest and exclusive “White Party” of Cabo San Lucas.

The extravagant white set-up features a reflecting pool, private cabanas with bottle service, VIP & Lounge areas and four dance floors kept busy by DJs await... Chris Garcia, the world renowned DJ and our resident DJ, Roman Rossetti hit the Passion Club & Lounge. Live music got the crowd moving on when the house and electronic music rocked the stage. We did not stop the music.

On Saturday the 25th, we kept partying at the Nikki Beach Club. We invited our guests and local VIPs to wear their hottest beach attire for our famous “Pool Party”. Featuring live performance, batucada, champagne Moet and some of the best house and techno music from our DJs.

This Friday (April 10th), ME Cabo resort and hautter.com are bringing Flashlight Party 4 back to Cabo.

Passion Club will once again turn off all of its lights for Flashlight Party 4, brought to you by Cabo Noche magazine, Hautter.com and Balsley Productions. The only lights in the club will be from the flashlights of those who attend.

This year’s Flashlight Party will feature a LIVE performance by world famous Green Velvet, along with DJs Roman Rosati and Nestor Rever. Plus, enjoy a custom light show by V-Publicidad, controlled and designed by light artisan Pitch Black.

Throughout 2008, we had some pretty crazy parties at ME Cabo. Aside from our regular weekly celebrations, the Pimp and Ho Ball and other special events kept things hot in Cabo.

When it came time to make NYE plans, I warned many of my friends of the dangers they'd face if they didn’t come to ME Cabo for NYE. If you didn't make it, you missed an incredible time that only pictures can describe:

It's been pretty busy around the hotel this week so I'm keeping this week's blog post short.

As the web becomes increasing social in nature (social networks, video and photo sharing networks, etc.), it's interesting to see how consumers use it to share information before making purchases. Of course, I tend to pay particular attention to the hospitality industry. It's fairly well known that, when shopping for hotels, consumers often use various websites to compare prices, read hotel reviews and research the perfect hotel or resort for their vacation.

This topic came up in a recent conversation that I had with a guest at ME Cabo. The guest that I was speaking with mentioned that she originally found out about ME Cabo while on YouTube. This is something that I don't hear everyday so I made a point to see what was out there. Here are a few videos I found:

Since most of the video on YouTube is amateur and unedited, it can be a great place to a feeling for what a hotel is really like, before the marketers get a hold of it. Aside from video sharing websites like YouTube, there are a number websites where users share photos as well. While these may not seem like obvious places to find out information about you next vacation, you may want to give it a shot.

So, how do you choose the perfect vacation destination? What tools have you used in the past to help you to make the decision about where to stay?

If memories of last year's New Year's Eve parties are haunting you and winter storms have left you feeling a little frigid, a week or so in Cabo may be all you need to get back on track.
