I love this time of year, right before the sour weather hits us.
Anyways, it has, as always, been a while since I last filled you guys in on what's going on.

Well, for starters I had a busy week in Bergen, doing a number of different workshops in cooperation with the Ung 09 festival, as well as the new UngFilm festival. The workshops included visual profiles, posters and t-shirts. A lot of fun.

The Kite cover is finished and turned out quite marvelous with the gold print. Nice going guys, doing something different with the genre.
Also been working a lot with Dist on various projects, like a KF shirt, Litago ad and now some upcoming ads for Tine IsKaffe.
This year Slipstream took contact with me, and together we made a bunch of boards, 4 of witch is going to be in the 2010 collection. Looking forward to that.
Shit Skateboards will release two boards made by yours truly in the spirit of the season, Halloween themed boards.
I also worked with more conventional design, making a book cover for Stat Ped, witch was a lot of fun. Would like to do more books.

Back in Oslo, I'm have been working with Dum Dum Boys with their new single-cover. Nice guys.
Also starting development of two other covers. With my buddies from El Cuero, and Insense.

Hopefully I'll have time to do some more designs for my T-shirt store soon, since my original idea was to only sell five of each, to limit the limited feel for the consumer. I'll need some more soon.

Oh, God, it's hot. And this'll be short.
Well, a lot has happened since last time. First off all, I have relocated. The new office is under DIST Creative AS' wing, and I'm having a great time here. Painbucket will continue to function just as before, but with new walls.
Finished the two projects for Farm House. You'll be hearing more about that over the summer.
Worked with Robert Post and made some flyers and a limited edition shirt.
The El Cuero merchandise turned out quite stylish.
My art exhibit at King of the Hill will be up all summer, so take some time to check that out. All paintings for sale.
Working with Dist now, awaiting new projects.
Three other band-projects in the pipe-line, It'll be a fun summer.
Also started working with Slipstream Longboards for some various projects.
I've started with the Customization of shoes again, keep a look out for new pairs this summer.
3 of my gig-posters will be a part of the Øya poster exhibit.
I'll be traveling to Bergen in the end of august to hold some lectures, and have a couple of workshops at this years "Ung 09"-festival. That will be a change of pace, and place. Exciting.

Hello again. Long time since I've had the time to update some news.
Well, it's been a busy month.
First off, I've been working close with the cozy gang at Farm House on two very different projects. Finally working with some layout and branding, as well as illustration.
Speaking of branding, King of the Hill, -or KOTH as it's called, have a brand new profile, and a new website will surface any time now. Produced some shirts and flyers for the Kongene på Haugen event.
Slowly the whole store will undergo a refresh of the new profile. Speaking of the store, it'll be exhibiting my paintings from last year this spring, so keep an eye out for that.

Other, El Cuero will have some brand new merch coming out any time soon. And it'll be quite the rockandrolla merch. Just as the guys like it.

Some infuriating news. Third brigade and myself is currently using a lot of brain power overcoming and cursing the curse of copying. Their new record's cover have been, well I can't say "ripped off", but something in that sense. The most annoying part is that their cover haven't been printed yet. And it's been ready since last winter. Awkward case, that.

Anyways. The very talented and sweet guys at DIST, and myself did a really fun project for The Crown Prince and Crown Princess’ Humanitarian Fund. And their site, NyVri.org. A pretty nifty illustration job for me. Really great project.

The Cumshot's new record, along with merch will come out at the edge of the summer. Excited about that.

Now, some few new projects are ticking in, and I predict a busy enough summer.

So what's new?

Well, the Discovery Channel project I did with TBWA is finished. Hit some hard weather on that one, and just hoping it'll turn out all right.
Been doing some odd jobs here and there. I worked with Anorak and did some t-shirts for Blodbanken Oslo.
Some shirts for Kite, EPK stuff for a little movie about El Cuero and had some meetings with some new bands.
One of witch I'm currently working on, The Last Heat. Where we do everything ourselves, a real D.I.Y project with some nice details.

I'm pretty stoked about the By:Larm
exhibition where you'll be able to see 5 giant-gigposter-inspired
illustrations. 2 of witch you might have seen before. And in that
regard, I've produced super limited edition t-shirts with the same
graphics. Be sure to check it out the 19Th to the 21Th of February. Hope to see you there.

Also, I was lucky enough to be asked to join Gigposters: The Art of Music exhibit. at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, in Kentucky, USA.

Still working with King of the Hill,
and other than a new visual profile, we are playing with other ideas
that will benefit us both and be a awesome experience. More about this
closer to spring.

Other, I've been sic a while now, and it sucks. So I'm hoping for a more-than-full recovery and taking on whatever may come.

Well, this is the season to be jolly. And I can't complain. With a great year behind me, and a, hopefully, greater year in front of me. This has been the most perfect start for the Painbucket era.

I have to take the time to thank all my clients and friends, of witch I could never have gotten so far.

It's been a while since I've updated my news section. But better late than ever.
I'm still working by myself and it's going good. Working with agencies like Anti and TBWA is fun. By the way, the Smartfish ad will now be in Playboard. Check it out.

Been doing a lot of stuff for the Norwegian movie "Knerten & Lillebror". It's going to be fun seeing the stuff in the finished movie. Stuff like books, signs and ads.
In the last period, I've made some posters for C-T Prevail, a cover for Knut Reiersrud Band, some merch for the  Creedence Clearwater Revival -coverband, Young Fogertys.

I've also published a lot of sketches from my many sketchbooks, just for fun.

And I've finally opened my online T-shirt store, where you can buy limited ed. t-shirts with various designs by me. It's in a testing period now, and I'll make some more specialized prints after a while.

I am currently working with King of the Hill, making the profile for his Longboard store here in Oslo. It's going to be a lot of fun.
Third Brigade also has a new album finished, and I'm working on the new art. Hoping it'll be special. hehe. We'll see.
Also Working on the new the Cumshots cover. Been slow the last period, but picking up drastically now.
I'm going to be making some material for the band PING also. Fun gang.
All in all it's a exciting time, and hoping new work will come my way.

Hi! Well since last time, I've started my own company and started working freelance for bigger clients like advertisement agencies and such. I'm also working a lot with bands right now. But more about that after I sum up the summer.
The Rockart 08 festival was fun, I got to exhibit and got a lot of good response on my 11 paintings. I will soon expose them and maybe put them out for sale.
Other than that, the summer was filled with small projects and some new clients. And a lot of well earned relaxing. Puh.
Made a backdrop for Kite, based on the previous poster design.
I made a storyboard for TBWA, witch was fun. I was also asked to to the new cover for the Cumshots. So together with L.P Lorentzen, we are cooking up a concept and hoping to make the band happy. A new T-shirt and a Hoodie is also around the corner.
The El Cuero cover, witch I've been talking about for months, is finally ready. And will be released alongside special edition vinyl records of the new and the old record. All with "new" graphics.
So after I finish some of this stuff, it's all about finding more clients with some exciting projects. hehe. I think this will be a challenging and fun year.

Well. Not much is new for this guy. Might be exciting times coming though.
I'm still looking for a job, not much luck... But on the side I have quite a few projects to keep me from feeling lazy. Still working with Stratos and Soria Moria. Made a huge project with Stratos for their Dj festival. Art directed photos and made typeface and design for the whole shebang.
The Rockart festival profile is coming along slowly, but steady. Producing stuff as they are finished. Also made a type for that festival.
The paintings for the festival is starting to take nice forms and I think it'll be a fun art break.
The most exciting and exhausting project these last days have been a project I got from 2008 Scandinavia. An illustration spanning 700x490 mm in a huge magazine spread for Smartfish.
The El Cuero cover has gone through a lot of changes and bumps in the defining moments of production, but it'll sort itself out. Good stuff.
A secret longboard project is going on in the background (did I say that out loud?).
Also I was featured in a t-shirt design book from Germany with the Stonegard shirts I made a while ago. Speaking of t-shirts, I made three new shirt-designs for Norwegian arse-kick band the Cumshots. That was a lot of fun.

Well, here I am, one of the last day at work. Ever. In this company at least. After the whole thing just crumbled and fell, we were all kicked out on the street. Now I have to find a new place to keep the bread and butter on the table. Well. Exciting times.
A lot happening though, I'm still working pretty much with stuff like posters, flyers, menus and various other from Soria Moria and Stratos. Witch is fun.
I'm currently working on the visual profile for this years RockArt festival, witch combines rock with, eh, yeah you guessed it, -art. Not only am I working on their profile, but I'm also going to have an art exhibit there myself. So now I'm painting like a maniac, and hope to create a array of nice paintings. Lovely.
I just finished making some new t-shirt designs for Norwegian kickass-core band The Cumshots, and all three of them can be viewed at my site. ( www.painbucket.blogspot.com )
I were also sitting as a jurymember for Gullkalven, Norways leading student competition in the field of communication, -in the illustration category. That was a little honor, with me being in my first year out of school and all. It was fun.
Also working on the new El Cuero album, and it's going to come along very well.
The Slipstream Longboards I've designed is now officially out in the shops, and it seems like skate, and longboarding is booming like hell here nowadays. So check them out ;)
Well, my new portfolio is right about ready, and now it's out to find a new job.

Well, as always, it's been a while.
Thing that are happening... -The slipstream Longboards are hitting the shelves as we speak, at least one, and the two others wil hit in may. Also, I might make some more boards for the guys' new project, Sidewalk Surfing. Witch will focus their boards for first-timers in regular sport centers. Fun stuff.
El cuero will pop up now with their first single, and the artwork for the single is done, whilst I'm working on the full lenght.
I've just finished my first book-design project, and it was great both as a learning curve and to try out new stuff. Published on Grieg Bok, "første gangen jeg døde" -by Andreas Markusson will hit the shelves in the end of may.
The Cumshots has reached out to me, and asked me to make a t-shirt design for them. So I have my hands full at the time. Great stuff.
I'm also working a lot with Soria Moria, making stuff for them like flyers and posters, but more about that later.
Visuelt is this weekend, and we'll see how thats going to be. Always big fun.
