hey everyone...so this isn't jordis posting this, it's dee. i've taken over jordis' blog again this year, to give you the opportunity to send your love and birthday wishes to this amazing lady.

today i became an aunt. i am overwhelmed with love and regret that i wasnt there to hold my sisters hand and welcome him into our family. everytime i think about my sister and her brand new baby unga i cant stop myself from crying. i finally realize complete selflessness...i will do anything for him
he is my new favorite person on the face of this planet and i havent even met him yet

and you may be thinking..."months upon months of silence and this is what shes got to say?"...well
yup

i think everyone should have a top five everything...and not just a - first five things you can think of - but a seriously well thought out top five everything
for example...ive got my top five movies, songs, albums, people, pets, shirts...and i'd say socks too, but really its only a top one cause XL mens super tall tube socks sans stripes are the only ones for me

so...am i done?
nope

as i was saying...my top five movies...which i know ive mentioned in blog format before...
the problem with my top five anything is that ive got sub-catagories for everything
for example
i lump my movies into five...count em 5 catagories

life changing as in amadeus, into the wild, the pianist, jackson 5 the american dream...blah blah blah

mood altering...allbeit either way...like wickerman (confused and a little pissed...does nick cage turn down a script these days? wish i had those hours back), or i dont know, fast food nation (thought provoking, a real stomach turner)...but in the end worth the time invested

eeeeeeehhhhhh - and imagine both my hands palms up in front of me alternating up and down as if im tossing back and forth all the contestants on the price as right like they accidently showed up at celebrity fat club...in other words...WHATEVER
in this category, fill in the blanks with anything that reminds you of transformers or spiderman or...you get the idea...any of the saws...but leave out the new batman returns cause that one was actually pretty rad...coulda done without katie holmes, but eeeeeeeehhhhhhhh whatever

quoteables...and if you dont know these by heart already youve got some work to do
fear and loathing, anchorman, elf, goodfellas, elf...anyway, you get my point

and last but not least...guilty pleasures...or movies i would necessarily readily admit i love to watch like sister act II back in the habit, or anne of green gables (all of em) or...you know...any sandra bullock movie...love that shit...cant help it

but with an overwhelming sense of purpose, i jumped out of bed at 4am for no other reason than to type what ive just typed
