Aprox 11am Tuesday, December 23 Don Julin and Angelo Meli present an eclectic blend of instrumental music incorporating musical styles from around the world including Jazz, Blues, Fold, Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, and Celtic 8:30-10:30 pm Friday, December 26 A musical favorite, Matt will be here with his acoustic sound and talented interpretation in the classical style 8:30-10:30 pm Saturday, December 27 Relic Bluegrass Band is a four piece band based in Louisville, Ky stamping their trademark on the bluegrass music scene. Drawing from an array of influences, Relic creates a new, distinctive approach to the traditions of Bluegrass Music, THE definitive American folk genre. 8:30-10:30 pm Saturday, December 27 Caitlin Prentiss and Merle Estes authors of Biking the USofAwsomeness will be with us. Their book is a fun account of 4 recent college graduates that biked their way across the country from Maine to Oregon in the summer of 05 and reveals their experiences and observations along the way. Written as a journal it's an interesting read. Come meet the authors. 1-3 pm

Friday, Dec 19 Buzz Harcourt, author of Tainted Treasure is coming to sign his latest book. When the main character, Harry Martin, returns to China to recover a hidden cache of black market money stashed in the old Marine Corps barracks in Tsingtao, the adventure begins. 1-3pm Friday, Dec 19 Elizabeth Buzzelli will return to Horizon to sign her ever popular novel Dead Dancing Women 7-8:30pm Friday, Dec 19 Songwriters in the Round will join us again and inevitably give a great performance. 8:30-10:30pm

The Grand Traverse Legends series author, Bob Wilson will be here to lead a fundraising book signing for the Grand Traverse Pioneer and Historical Society. This is a comprehensive history of the transition of the Grand Traverse region from its mid-nineteenth century beginnings as a logging camp to its emergence as a thriving city in 1900. 3-5pm
Richard Smith's latest effort, Black Bear Hunting, has hundreds of color photos and contains 384 pages of information – the most comprehensive book ever written about black bear hunting. The author will be at Horizon signing from: 7-9pm
