At long last, the wait is finally over!  Thank you so much for your patience as this has been a long but amazing project for me.

My first self titled CD is currently in post-production and should be available for online purchases on January 1st, 2008.

You will have the choice of obtaining a physical CD, or use the more convenient option of downloading the CD directly to your computer.

Physical CDs will also be available internationally as I have had an overwhelming response to my music overseas :)

Finally, if you have seen my website, you can see that it is totally bare.  I need help!  Unfortunately my last nickels and dimes have gone to the production of this CD and funds are at a minimum.  If you would like to help a struggling artist out and have superb web designing skills, PLEASE message me with some examples of your past work.  I would be eternally grateful :)

Thanks again for all of your support and I hope this CD will be worth the wait!

Blessings,

Josh

First of all I'd like to say thank you to everyone of you who have left a comment or sent me a private message.  Your words keep me motivated and you can count on me to keep on writing.  It's so cool to see people love what you do when all you're really doing is something you would do even if no one listened.  I'm just very fortunate to have been surrounded by wonderful people such as my family, HappySlip, and Ken Rivers of RiverGlo productions to continue pushing me with my music.

A very special thanks to Ken Rivers who produced the "Save Me" track.  You've taught me alot in the couple of days we hung out and I really appreciate everything you've done for me.

For those of you who are wondering about my CD, I promise you that it is in the works.  I am holding out on releasing tracks out as they are completed because I want to give you something new when the album comes out.  The CD will probably be around 7 or 8 tracks with brand new stuff so definitely be on the lookout for it.  I'll keep you posted as I continue to record.

Also for those who are looking to purchase the tracks that are out now you can sign up with SNOCAP and buy the tracks right off of my MySpace page.  I am currently trying to get my songs on iTunes but its a little harder to get on there than you would think :)

Thanks again to everyone for your continued support and I hope to keep on making you all proud!

PS- A special thanks to my entire family, especially my brother and sister for helping me with some of the recordings.  You guys rock!

Meaningless Songs

Yes!  Some new content!  Ok, so you've probably heard the song before through my YouTube vid, but now I actually have it laid down on audio.  Unfortunately this track still has to be re-mastered, but I think it's good enough to listen to for the moment :)

Thanks again for all your support.  I am working hard on my first album and its because of all your comments that keep me motivated.  That and the fact that I really love writing and recording music :)

The Lounge:

Some of you have asked me if I lead worship because of the artists that I list under my music section.  The answer is "YES" I do lead worship on occasion.  The venue I'm usually playing at is "The Lounge" and they meet every Friday in Virginia Beach.  For all of you in the area, if your tired of all the typical Friday night hangout spots and are looking to meet some really cool people in a laid back environment, then I highly recommend that you go out.  Check out www.loungevb.org for more information.

Check out the vids for some of our Lounge jam sessions!  If you see any mess ups, its probably my fault, haha.  Thank God (seriously) I have an awesome band to help cover it up.  I love you guys!

First off I'd like to thank all of you who have messaged me and commented on my music.  I appreciate all your kind words and want you all to know that it's those very words that keep me motivated to keep on writing and performing.

If you haven't gotten a response from me yet, I apologize.  I'm still trying to catch up and I will respond to you as soon as I can.

A couple things that many of you have been asking are for lyrics and tabs.  I'm working on a video where I will show you how to play "Love at First Sight" and "Home".  I hope to have those done sometime this week.

And here are the lyrics for those 2 songs:

"Home"

I've done my time in this crazy world
What trails have I left behind?
But no matter what I've done, I know
I can always come home

So take me home
From the beach to the bay
Take me home
To good ol' Cambridge Way
Take me home
Cuz there's nowhere else I'd rather be
Than to come back to the place that made me....me
I'm coming home

And when I see this world
And all it has to offer
I know I'll stand amazed
But no matter what I see
I know theres just no place like home

Bridge:
No matter what road I take
It never feels quite the same
And yet it's all the same
So here I am another night
I can't ignore you, 64 you bring me more than words can say
You bring me home

"Love at First Sight"

There she was
On a warm summers breeze
Just as free as could be
So oblivious to me
As I stand
Taking her in
Everything else seems to fade
As I get up to say

This is it
This is the moment am I right or wrong?
But I've got to catch you before you are gone again.
Don't wanna rush you; I've got nothing to lose.
But I've got this feeling it should be me and you
Palms are shaking
Could this really be...my love at first sight?

Here I stand
Going out on a limb
Searching deep within
For the words to say
She just smiles
As I try to explain
Then she puts her fingers to my lips
As she gets up to say

Bridge:
You may not believe
But just wait and keep hope alive
Cuz its there; Oh it's real
And one day you will find
You will find your love at first sight.

On a final note, I will be heading back to the studio sometime in mid January to record another track.  I'm still debating which song I want to do, but I'll definitely have something new for you all to listen to within the next month.  Thanks again for all your support and I hope you had a great Christmas!

Current mood:  artistic

I will be heading back to the studio this weekend to record "Home".  It will be part of my first EP that I'm working on and will be another acoustic track.  I've gotten a lot of great response to my video on YouTube and many of you have requested that I put this song on audio.  Well my friends, I hear you and I hope this recording comes out good.

Thanks again for all your support.  Peace.

Current mood:  anxious

I swear it's like crack.  A friend of mine let me borrow season 1 and since I started watching it I haven't been the same.  That show is amazing!  I couldn't stop watching.

I finished watching Season 1 in like 3 days and I remember the feeling I had when I was done with the season finale.  At the time, I didn't know Season 2 was already out on DVD.  I thought that that's what was on right now on TV.  I was scraping around the internet like a fiend trying to see if I could find new episodes.  To my relief I saw that season 2 was out already and I literally ran out and got it at Blockbuster (yes, it was overpriced, but who cares!)

So I got my fix.  I've been trying to pace myself now so that I don't run out of episodes so fast.  Sad I know but true.  I'm currently on the 5th disc so I'm almost done.  Don't you hate/love it when they leave you hanging after every episode?

Ok, so you're either laughing at me right now or you know exactly how I feel!  If you haven't seen the show yet, don't start because you won't be able to stop.  Consider yourself warned!

Peace.
