BASES E INSCRIPCIÓN

Nos complace anunciar que La Cabina abre su plazo de inscripción para su segunda edición, que tendrá lugar del 9 al 13 de diciembre del 2009.

A pesar de la alta producción internacional de mediometrajes (tanto en cantidad como en calidad), este formato a medio camino entre el corto y el largo no suele encontrar cabida en festivales cinematográficos ni salida comercial. Tras la gran acogida de su primera edición, La Cabina continúa en su empeño por dar notoriedad a este formato y, en su segunda edición, pretende consolidarse como un lugar de encuentro exclusivo para la exhibición de obras audiovisuales de una duración comprendida entre los 30 y los 60 minutos.

Por todas estas razones, os animamos a presentar vuestros trabajos a la comisión organizadora del festival antes del 15 de noviembre.

El MuVIM (Museo Valenciano de la Ilustración y de la Modernidad) acogerá de nuevo a La Cabina en su salón de actos. Este museo ha avalado diversos ciclos cinematográficos e iniciativas innovadoras y, por segundo año consecutivo, será el anfitrión de La Cabina reafirmando su apoyo y confianza en este proyecto.

CALL FOR ENTRIES

It gives us great pleasure to announce the imminent second edition of the Medium-Length International Film Festival La Cabina, which will take place from the 9^th to 13^th of December 2009.

Despite the elevated number of high quality medium-length film productions, this format (halfway between the short film and the full-length film) barely finds an appropriate space in film festivals or in the movie industry. After the warm reception of its first edition, La Cabina is determined to continue supporting this format presenting its second edition as an exclusive meeting point for the exhibition of medium-length films (30 to 60 minutes).

For all these reasons, we want to make the official call for entries and encourage you to take part of our second edition before the deadline (15^th November 2009).

The Valencian Museum of Enlightenment and Modernity (MuVIM) welcomes the event by offering its auditorium to the festival. Among other projects, this museum is well-known for supporting cinematographic seasons and encouraging innovative initiatives. For the second consecutive year, the MuVIM will host La Cabina, reasserting its trust and support for this project.
