Stéphane had broken his rib earlier this winter and it’s so happy to see him all right on the stage. It was arranged that he would give me a 1 day boxing lesson but I am too busy recently. The works for a MV must be finished on time so I didn’t even stay there to have a drink with my old friends as we had planed to.....
 

Just like most of you all in Europ, Ben is now enjoying his holiday.  Panda is working in Beijing now. It has been very difficult for me to make the way through the cyber great wall of the government and post an article here.

He's now in Roma, (said to be)on his own enjoying his 1 week vocation there.  He will attend the Festival International de la Bande Dessinée in Angoulême for next Feb.

In midnight yesterday, on the way back from the dinner with the publishers and artists, I walked down the steps of the Metro line 4 on my own and was surprised by my own artwork. It was the back cover I made for my first fiction book "The Basement"and is now using on the poster of a rock& roll performance. It is a performance sponsored by Intel and there are 3 bands take part in it including: Vitalic, Dead Sexy Inc. and Peaches. The show time gonna be 23ird Jan 2009. My friend Stéphane who is the singer of Dead Sexy Inc. had ever told me about that but it was still surprising to see the poster in Metro...:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

My fiction "The Basement" depicts a group of young musicians who were pursuing after their dreams about Rock and Roll. On the picture there are "Xiao Hang", "Yafei" and "Guiziliu(Ghost 6)", the musicians growing up in the desperation environment of ..:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Beijing. Years after they are now appearing on the poster of a Rock and Roll performance in Paris, standing for some French music, which scene, made me standing there leaning towards the wall for a while.

They would be very happy for being recognized as musicians.

After many years of preparation and improving, the first big public performance of the"Forest" Band in real life is also on its way. It might also be in Jan and I won't be able to watch it.

I met Stéphane 4 days ago, he is a man with the sense of"Yafei", so thoughtful, innocent and versatile. He is also a great photographer of the rock n' roll topics as well as sex topics.

I am back to beijing frome my hometown. Being as busy as usual, I am again threatened by depression in the metropolis. Beijing is having the best few days of the whole year, which does not stop me from cherishing the memory of the free time I had in the forest.

My new book is published. As an artist who was first know as a illustrator, I had my first album book published ten years afer my debut. The title is 本杰明（benjamin), the title of its French version is "flash".

I am now working on some new illustrations and new stories.
