First of all, we would like to thank each and every one of you who took the time to cast your vote for us for the 2009 Casbys, we are so grateful to you all, especially given the process involved. Thank you thank you thank you.

For the many of you who are not going to be able to attend in person to see the awards show, we have great news! The show is going to be broadcast live online at The Edge's website on Thursday, October 22 at 8:30pm EST, be sure to tune in and find out if we won, as well as catch our performance!

To all of our friends that came out to Rifflandia, especially those who tried to get into our show on Friday night and were unable to get in!

Just as we stepped off the ferry on the mainland we were informed that Rifflandia wanted us to come back and perform on Sunday as well! So we will be trekking back to Victoria tomorrow for 2 shows at Element, one for the All Ages crowd and a 19+ show as well, for those wristband holders that were unable to see us on Friday at Market Square. Good Sunday Morning,

As promised, here’s the low down on the “secret shows” being announced today that you may or may not have heard about….

For all of you who had trouble getting into Market Square to see MOTHER MOTHER on Friday night, we have brought them back for two special shows tonight!

MOTHER MOTHER

Doors 7:00pm
Showtime 7:30pm – sharp!

MOTHER MOTHER

Sugar Nightclub
Doors 10:00pm
Showtime 10:30pm – sharp!

For those of you who received a guaranteed access voucher please present it at the door along with your wristband. For those of you who do not have a voucher, there is still room for you.

If you have your heart totally set on seeing one of these shows tonight, we recommend that you consider the earlier show at Element, regardless of your age. REMEMBER TO ARRIVE EARLY and show your wristband, subject to capacity!

Hello to all of our Maine friends,

We come bearing some rather sad news. Due to a scheduling conflict that we have encountered due to circumstances beyond our control, we have sadly had to cancel our performance on September 2 at The Space Gallery in Portland. Unfortunately we will be unable to schedule a make up date on this tour, but we will be sure to return at the earliest possible opportunity because we love Portland and we have been looking very forward to visiting again after such a warm reception on our tour with the Sam Roberts Band last spring.

As of January 26th 2009, we of Mother Mother would like to officially announce the induction of Jasmin Parkin as the band's new vocalist and keyboardist. Jasmin is a very talented individual who brings something extremely special to the group's sound and dynamic. We look forward to sharing this with you on stage, on album, and amidst all things Mother Mother to come.  

Welcome, Jasmin! Here's to the road ahead.

Hello friends,



At this time, we would like to announce that Mother Mother and Debra-Jean Creelman have decided to part ways. It is in the best interest for both parties to move forward in pursuit of their different paths. We wish Deb all of the best in her future endeavours; she is a very talented lady and her contribution to our sound and our style since the band’s beginnings has been greatly appreciated.


This will by no means slow Mother Mother down. The band will be carrying on as usual, with lots of exciting events and possibilities lined up for the new year. It is our intention to welcome a new vocalist into the Mother Mother family in the not too distant future, and of course we will keep you posted on that
