Yeah it's me.  I'm happy because (A) Things are great in my personal life. (B) The band is doing great things.  & (C) I think I have a clear path to a plan in life (which one needs...but anyway).  FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT:  SAVE MARCH 21ST.  BETTER DAY LIVE AT THE TROC.  GO TO IT!

Better Day is truckin' hard.  With our set list and our repetru...(whatever that gay french word is)...what I mean to say is our song list is growing.  An album is gonna happen but we're not rich and so our studio time has to be carefully planned to fit a budget.   I'm sure by the beginning out this summer we'll have a full record out....at least we'll shoot for it.  Im not promising anything. (we haven't confirmed any studio dates...I might be completely wrong but I want t to happen!) I'm a little drunk, a lot happy.  That's my point here. K, bye.

Current mood:  determined
A little buzz and great music gets me in the mood....to type. haha. Why is that? I type all fucking day...well, kinda. I have nothing of importance. I love reading other's thoughts and feel selfish when I don't share mine from time to time. I'm listening to the new Travis record. It's great. Inspiring. Hard rock, banjos, keys, great melodies....it is great. I can hear very well where Cooney soaks in some inspiration for those guitar licks he does. Listen to old Paper Tiger stuff. The man is a natural innovator. The big show for us is Saturday night. I must admit, this is the first show I have been nervous about in a while. I'm not nervous b/c of us or our playing ability...we are fucking ready! I'm nervous because this feels like, for once, all the work we've put into our music is paying off. This is a big show. The Troc and promotion companies have certainly let us know that this is not a joke. Never have I ever had to sell tickets to people to come see me. I must admit, I wasn't very good at it and it felt weird. I'm so used to just having people show up...small cover...whatever. I've achieved the Hollywood goal. I played at the Whiskey, Roxy, Mint, and Viper Room but that's over. New goals have fabricated. That's the most important thing. Always strive to go further. Music is me, my life, my flesh and blood. I'm trying to make my living through music and I have been giving the chance from God. I have interview 2 in 2 weeks. I can do this. I can go as high as I want....just can't ever stop. Maybe it's the beer but I really hear the music.....I'm getting up....I'm getting up...Moving....Always MOVING......Never stopping. Never.

"Here comes the cold. Break out the winter coats and find a love to call your own." (JMayer) Well, I have. Couldn't be happier.

It's THANKSGIVING next week! Relative from New England, and family friends from D.C. coming!
"Holidays have got to be the worst. I've seen so many I've got it well rehearsed."
(Might Mighty Bosstones)

Time flies when you're scrambling. It's 2:26am and I'm still in the unwinding faze of my night. Working nights stinks but I get to sleep in everyday so that's cool. When I get "the better job" I'll readjust pretty quick. That opportunity may have called today. We'll see. Working in music? Hell yes! Got the call today. PRAY FOR ME! Ellen's stand up is on tv and I've been cutting drums on protools for 2 hours and have found the pay off to be great. 4 beers in and they sound so much better 10 folds. I have a pimpy on the nose. Stress probably. This new song I'm "composing" is just what I've have been striving for. It has it all; weird noises, pretty vocals, catchy chorus, strong back beat... I love music with those sounds that just make your imagination run completely wild. It's nowhere near done and won't be for a while. I'm writting and then re-writing, taking my time. So many ideas have been coming to me and Ive found great inspiration from listen to classic rock acts...especially David Bowie. That guy is a true artist.

Oh boy....

The band I'm drumming for "A Better Day" is continuely gigging around. We had a "practice show" in a dive bar in NE Philly last Thursday which was aweful. The sound was bad, we didn't rehearse enough, and our (former) rhythm guitarist wasn't prepared. Oh well, it was fun. We have a huge show at a major venue coming up on Dec 13th which is crucial. We'll be ready.

Any whooo. I'm done. Bye.

Thanks for visiting my Myspace Page!

Well, I finally put on my big boy pants and forked over the dough to get myself a GOOD recording set up turning my apartment into my own personal recording studio. And I don't mind telling you, Damn it feels good!

I would love to recording YOU! Send me a message or call my cell if you want to lay down tracks. I guess I'm calling my "label" 'Decatur & Franklin' (aka Hollywood Hare Recordings) I'm just starting out so go easy on me. I can use the practice on my audio engineering and will work for free... for now. haha. I'm available Thursdays and Saturdays to do sessions. Nothing too heavy though... I have limited space, equipment, and skills at the moment but get in touch if you're interested. Thanks!
