It seems as though everyone is in a race to the top, the nonexistent summit of conquered dreams, eternal life, love, and happiness. As we all strive to that top, i think, naturally we push each other down, and in our moments of desperation we will throw each other to the bottom. This summit, this goal, this realization of our dreams conquered, did it grant peace? the eternal joy and heart fulfilled? All satisfaction is temporary,  people strive to reach their dreams for the dark and hateful road to which we suffer , and that our dreams are just a pretty veil to guise our contempt for our neighbors, our selfish greed and desire to tame an all consuming heart that will never stop needing to be better than everyone else, to throw everyone else away. In this way, peace will never be found, it is the nature of man, and it is cruel and selfish, and until we learn to help each other to the top, reach out for others, instead of casting them away, will we be able to snuff the bitter flame of jealousy and discontent in our hearts.

Terrifying, how we've made an art out of misery, this masterpiece of ruin setting the tone for years to come, painted with the cruel colors of days past. We lay idly in the decay of time, waiting for this place so barren of hope to change, we wither away reaching for empty dreams to no avail. We are all alone, lost in the daze of exhausted hopes and dreams, in the darkness of broken hearts. In this forsaken place to which there seem to be no exits, we struggle for a way out, painting this magnus opus of our long, unconquered lives, dashing all the somber colors to a canvas so far out of reach, we feel there's nothing to hold on to. Our lives grow shorter as the days grow longer, soon enough the cruel vastness of time will tread upon us and all our gainless ambitions to forever cast us away. If we assume that no one can change, how can we expect ourselves to?



The days come and go, and with each and every passing moment we fade a little more. We Decide whether or not to lose our faith in these empty days, we are where we choose to be. We are who we choose to be.
